Lady Pyre Aeolusis Why the ******** am I still awake?! Maybe I should clear off my bed and go to sleep. Or should I just sleep on my keyboard? xp What he said. Except for the fact that my bed is always clear because I just throw s**t on the floor. Well I have a small room full of clutter, so all my s**t is on my floor. But when I'm on the computer I move my hamper basket full of clean clothes onto my bed. And when I got to bed I move my clothes to my computer chair. I really should do something better, like say clean out my room for a change, but I hate to clean. sweatdrop

Eee, I'm so nervous. I just emailed two student filmmaker clubs on campus and proposed collaborations between filmmaker/music composition students. I KNOW I'm not the only music major who wants it... I hope at least one filmmaker is interested... I mean, it's free music for them, and free experience for us... right?
I wish I did this back in my sophomore year or something!

I seriously hate this time of the year with a fiery passion. Everyone acts like complete fools over material matter. I'm sorry, I don't need a single day for you say those three words to me. You can buy me flowers anytime during the year. And a kiss can be given anytime anywhere.
But what I hate the most is the horrible love songs that are played non-stop on the radio stations. Just rub it in further in our single noses that we don't have anyone special in our lives. And there is no reason for people to just "hook up" because they have no one for another day of the freakin' week. =.=

Jahoclave http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/feb/11/charliebrooker.relationships Found my holiday. i expected that to be Steak-and-a-b*****b Day... it's another made up holiday, but Valentine's Day is basically "show your GIRLFRIEND (or wife) you love her" day, it's not geared towards doing anything guys stereotypically like. so if there's a fake, made-up holiday for girls, some dudes decided they should have one too. but they didn't want a big bouquet of roses and some chocolates in a heart-shaped box. they'd prefer a big hunk of cow and some sex. honestly, so would i... i mean, i love chocolate and all, but those boxes are always 3/4 the kind with gross goo inside, and flowers are kind of boring and just die on you anyway. let's make sexy time and eat good food, how about that?

Exactly! I want a steak, shrimp, maybe raw oysters (SO GOOD) and then smexy right after dinner. "Give it to us raw and wiggling."
In other news, I'm very disappointed in my blackberry. I've had to download a lot of features that should have already been on there such as instant messenger and GPS. And I still want my freakin's receipt so I can get my rebate!

My boyfriend is a mushy romantic though.
So when he isn't dying of work, he'll probably pull some sappy act.
Not that I mind, since it usually involves physical activity anyway.

I dunno why people are like "You shouldn't need a special day to do something nice for the person you love." because that's rarely the case.
I know I don't need a special day for it. I do nice things for my boyfriend as often as I can, and he does the same for me. It's just that there is a day in place meant for it, so why not just go ahead and celebrate it?

From what I observe, couples don't mind. Singles do.

All my friends are single so I get left out of things,
but whatever, I don't make a big deal out of it.

It's not really something that has ever bothered me one way or the other. I'm usually single on Valentine's day, or things don't go very well and I end up not enjoying the day because of the girl I'm with.
Steak and sex is fine though. But I try to celebrate that as much as possible because I forget when it is.
And now that I think about it, we were going to celebrate Unvalentine's Day, but we changed it to the 16th because it's a Saturday.
