"I want to know about Lord Nadil and the magic of Dusis, when it drained and such. It just seems so odd how it just could sink to an almost nonexistent level..." she said, pursing her lips a bit, looking out in the distance, as if lost in thought. It was only for a second though, then she turned her head back to Celia again.

"Well, when Nadil first came to this world, he almost immediately kidnapped the dragon queen of the time, Lady Raseleane. When the Dragon Lord Lykouleon went to get her back, he met the Fairy Elder, which established really very good relations so far as I know..."She proceeded to explain how Lykouleon had gone on to meet Snow Crewger and Ice Illuser, and find the Dragon Queen baren to him, and to decapitate Nadil, followed by an explination of the events that took place with the Knights Rath, Thatz, and Rune bringing Nadil's head to Draqueen, which, was eventually completed by Cesia. She pointed out pictures of the people in the Journal as she came to them, hoping sincerly that she wasn't just repeating things that Micoi already knew.

But Micoi was quiet and listened to the knight, occasionally looking down at the pictures that Celia pointed at Sometimes the young dragon would smile knowingly and sometimes she would look thoughtful about something Celia said, as if part of it was already known to her, or at least the situation and fighting. Finally, she raised her voice in question. "When and how did themagic start to drain?"

"Well, If I'm not mistaken that took place after Nadil's time...."Said Celia, in a way that made it clear she didn't quite know the answer....but knew where to look. She flipped through the pages of the book, eyes darting back and forth, scanning for the proper answer....Untill she turned a page near the back, and she stopped suddenly. Her eyes became a little large, and very sad, when she found there were about five missing pages from the text, that had been rudely ripped out. "What happened to them...?"She asked quietly, more as a thought out loud than a real question.

Micoi blinked down at the book. "That's... not very nice. Or smart. Someone must have not liked the answer. But who would tear out pages from a book like this... and why?" she asked, not expecting any answer because she doubted anyone present, or in the castle either, had an answer for her anyway. Titling her head to the side, golden eyes sudied the remains that testified that there had once been pages there. "Had you read this part before? I mean, is itnew? Or is it old?" Because if it was old, then someone within the castle's recent time could have been theonly one to rip them out...

"I hadn't quite gotten to this part yet....But this journal is quite old....Anyone who has been in the castle could have had a chance.....but I would like to think that no one would do that to such a lovely old book........"Said Celia with a sad sigh. She had flipped through the Journal when she first was allowed to see it, but had never noticed missing pages...Not something she usually overlooked...But she didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

Micoi nodded at Celia's words, expression thoughtful as she gazed down at the uneven edges that remained in the book. "You know..." she finally said, her mind still partly on the book. "It might be so that these pages described something bad... or harmful, and someone who thought it the best for everyone tore them out. Not all knowledge is good in the hands of more or less anyone," she said, sounding as if she was speaking from experience.

"I suppose.....But I still wish I could have had the oppertunity to read them..."She replied, feeling obviously sad. In truth, she really just felt bad for the book...She knew it was rather terrible to know something one moment, and then have it suddenly not be there in the next, only knowing that something was missing, and that it was something that should most definately be there.

"Hey," Micoi said, sweatdropping, "it's not like it gave the book pain. It's not a living object," she pointed out, almost as if she had been able to read what was on Celia's mind just from her expression. "I'm sure there was a reason for ripping those pages out."

"I know its just a book....But, still........Its hard not knowing what should be there..."As she finished speaking, it was honestly hard to tell whether she was still talking about the book, or if she had moved to something else, namely, herself.
'...Perhapse, you should point out that picture of Sarazar to Lady Micoi. She might find it interesting,'Suggested Kahaku, trying to cheer her up.
"Oh! Good Idea,"Said Celia, perking up almost instantly. She flipped through the book untill she came to the sketch of the fortune teller of the past, and then said "This person here is called Sarazar. She was the fortune teller in the castle right around the time that Nadil first arived....Well, actually, I'm pretty sure she was already dead by then, but....She was still helping out." She laughed a little at the though, as she scanned the book to try and find where she might have read the information to try and confirm the truth to it....It didn't seem to be there.

"They don't," Kushina agreed, rubbing her face. Then she shook her head and stood up.
"If we're finished for the moment, I think I have some things to do... like go bother Neith," Kushina laughed, tugging the ribbon, that had already started to unravel in the fight, fully loose and then redoing the loose pony-tail.
Humming softly, Liozu stalked the hallways with an air of indifference, if that was possible. Every now and then he would brush his hand against the wall, a mirror, or other fixture in the corridor, sometimes dipping into empty rooms and then slipping out again.
Ah, yes... So perfect, so simple. Though it will take a while, Empress chuckled mentally, ignoring Liozu fighting against the threads holding him captive in the back of their shared head. Now, it wouldn't matter... A heated, excited smirk stole briefly over Liozu's face where he stood in front of a mirror in an empty room, a large vase of flowers also mirrored in the clear surface. His hands were tingling, but the light shield around the castle was doing nothing else.
Which wasn't so strange, since it was, after all, a dragon's body wandering around Draqueen, even if the mind... wasn't. Another smirk into the mirror, and briefly there was the image of long, flowing dark hair and brighter fringe, the face in a way softening, before that too disappeared, and Liozu turned around and left. He wasn't completely finished yet, and if he wanted to be finished with this before dinner, he'd have to move a little faster.

Micoi leaned in a bit to see the picture more up close, studying the dark haired woman's face. "She doesn't look like a dragon," she finally said, sounding rather sure about her thing... even though she had seen pretty few dragons in her life. "But she doesn't seem youkai either, or faerie..." The young woman traced the black tresses cascading down the sketchy figure.

"I think your right....But I don't really think she's human....Its not often that humans are actually gifted with foresight...."She said, kind of shrugging, and really sort of wondering what options were left if all the listed were excluded.
