: Azalea shook her head in response to Mercury's question, "No, I don't mind...How much food do you think we will need? There will be five or six of us, and I am not sure how long we will be gone. We will probubly be staying at an inn so we should only need some emergency rations." :

"Well....perhaps a week's worth of dry rations should do...if we need more, we can always buy more along the way. If we take anymore, we might overload the packhorses...oh, we should remember to bring some oats or something for them too."

They entered the kitchen and the Mistress of Kitchens looked up, and cocked an eyebrow at seeing two Aes Sedai she was all to familiar with walk in.

"Aye...don't tell me you two have gotten in trouble and dish duty again, but this time as Aes sedai?"

She put on a grin of mock surprise. "Why would you think that! I feel hurt...don't you Azalea?"

She broke out into laughter and hugged the woman. "No, this time we're just here to get some food."

"Food for what? Goodness knows you certainly don't eat anymore."

"Food for a trip we're making. And in any case, I'd have had to eat sooner or later. Anything we could help ourselves to?"

The woman sat both of them down, and sent a novice over to tell what they had for the day, before returning to her kitchenly duties.

: Azalea smiled at the woman she was so firmiliar with, she had spent many a day grumbling in the kitchen with Mercury after some kind of trouble they had gotten themselves into. She smiled as a novice placed food before her and Mercury, but before the novice could l eave, Azalea assigned her to bring them a weeks worth of dry rations and oats. They resumed their meal silently for awhile, the food was heavenly. Azalea finally spoke, "So, I think that Alena will bond Nine." The statement was abrupt, and relationships weren't normally what she talked about. The topic was sure to surprise Mercury, but that hadn't been her intention, only a perk. :

I don't rightly understand it! Katerine has turned me into a bumbling fool! it's like I am but fourteen years old and attending my first village celebration where I am expected to dance!

Though he knew the bond would transmit the emotions inside, Nine tried to appear calm and collected.

"Yes, it is getting somewhat late and I don't think that Mercury Sedai and Azalea Sedai will be happy if we take much longer."

Nine proceeded to pound on Skiiy's door before anything else could come up and make him look a fool again.

"Skiiy, Katerine Sedai wishes to speak with you! Come, we have good news!"

He smiled back at Katerine, but once again, the bond likely belied him.

We could handle ourselves! Peh, leave him to his papers, if you ask me.

Now that Nine was feeling better, Katerine was back to her good mood. She had gotten slightly worried when Nine had fallen. He also seemed to be getting a handle on his emotions because he was starting to appear collected. If he could at least appear it, the emotion would eventually seep inside.

Nine began to pound on Skiiy's door while Katerine stood off to the side. A small smile was on her face and she was sifting through the emotion's in Nine's bond. Sensing a bit of spite, the smile slipped for a second, but Katerine glossed this over. Eventually Nine would get used to Skiiy. He was going to have to.
