Layla: "And how do you propose spending this time?" Xiao asks casually.
Sand-Claw: Irene looks quite intimidated by the sheer size of the weapon. "Why is it so BIG?" she asks.

"Perhaps just relaxing a bit while things get sorted out. Falling from a tree is not nearly as soft a landing as other things I've fortuitiously landed on top of..." I say sarcastically to Xiao.

"Well... sometimes life just likes to give oneself wake up calls about one's lifestyle... My knowledge of those spells is still quite up to par... that was just life giving me a somewhat literal slap in the face." I say to Leina.

I continue to look at Willow skeptically as I hesitantly give her the tomes, and then I glance at Apollo while laughing softly at his explanation for his fail.

"Umm......Thank you?" Willow was unsure of what she was ment to say so thank you seemed the safest option, it was rare that she had ever simply had to ask for something without some sort of fight. It felt...Odd. She stood awkwardly for a moment or two before walking back to where she was before and sitting down and setting to work desiphering the tomes, there must be something in all of the books she had with her, but she decided to simply look at it first, if that gained nothing, she would start with the strange bible she had found.

Layla: "I can't be there EVERY time you fall, Princess," Xiao replies equally as sarcastically. "But sometimes, I can be."
Willow: {WIS 13: 14} The symbols looks vaguely familiar, but you can't quite remember how to read them...

Willow checks through the books in her bag, trying to find something about tomes.

I let go of Xiao. "Guess I should be tending to something else..." I place my hands over my own wounds and try to close them.

My skeptic expression toward Willow quickly transforms to one of slight confusion and surprise. "Well... You're welcome...?" I respond in a tone similar to the one she had used with me. Despite this strange expression of gratitude, I continue to keep an eye on her with the tomes and call out. "I want those back when you're done!"

Willow: The tomes in your bag are mainly the game's equivalent of chat systems: guild chat, local chat, mercantile chat, etc. The bible you found is from the Universal Religion, like the fancy one you found in the chapel at Layla's family's manor (which you returned to Layla upon her request, however unhappily you did so). It details many events of the world's history, with a religious explanation for what the history book you read back at the manor had no explanations. It, like Layla's fancy one, has the story, "One Million by One," which details humanity's fall from heaven, and the fallen human god's genocide of 1,000,000 people across all of Ji'on, which was ended when Sylane shot him through his now-mortal heart, killing him. It also explains the human goddess denied any connection to the genocide and left her people to live among the monks of the Snow Kingdom monasteries. The story ends with Sylane rising to power as the Goddess of the Moon, Stars, and Night; she remains, to this day, the only human deity of the Universal Religion.
Layla: "Probably a good idea," Xiao says, looking at your wounds. {WIS 15: 12} {Healing d6: 4} You're almost at full! (12HP/13HP).
Sand-Claw: Irene giggles. "That makes sense," she replies. "Does it hurt?"
