((I'm sorry I've been absent!!! T0T))

(deck)

Alexandre was sure he had paid the capitain, so he left towards the deck, looking for fresh air. He knew hsi sister was waiting, but his head was feeling fuzzy, so he better steadied it before anything else.

"Gosh... I hate departures... the airships move so much..." he said leaning on a wall.

(galley)

Lenore looked curiosly at the Kannibal, she walked aroudn her then childishly examined her hair.

"I like your hair, it's so white..." she whispered gently smiling softly.

Silas forgot his impending doom when he heard this alien voice nearby. He turned away from the view, finding a tall youth leaning against the wall, looking quite ill. Silas smiled. "You know what will improve your vigour and lust for life, darling?" he said. "Hmm?"

He removed his boot and slid back the heel, revealing a small flask. He shook it, smirking at the lad. This trip would be fun...

[Galley]

Taking the little teapot under her arm, Penelope slipped through the people who were still in the galley and out into the corridor. She stumbled slightly on the stairs as the ship rattled softly around her, but managed to get up to the...

mostly unscathed. She set down the tea kettle, though it stayed close to her heel, and made her way across the deck to the two figures. Misters Silas and Alexandre, Penelope remembered. The wind whipped loose hair from her braid and she tucked it back behind her ear. "Are you alright?"

Alexandre opened his hazel eyes and looked over at the strangers. He shot quite a nasty look at the man offering him the flask.

"I'm by no means your darling... and I don't drink anything that's not water or my sisters tea... alcohol doesn't go well with a fighter..." he said in his usual annoyed voice, but then his eyes rested on the girl and his gaze and tone softened, his lips side-smiling.

"I'm a bit dizzy, departures always have this effect on me... but I'll be fine..." he told her, then he closed his eyes again, feeling the wind softly caressing his face. He took his bandana off absentmindedly and his spiky hair fell slightly forward, his tanned forehead covered with black strands. "What're your names, anyways?" he asked softly, feeling the wind clearing his head a bit.

(oh my goodness sorry! grade 12 is hard ^^; )

Alexandria nodded and spread the charts.
As she glanced over the course being plotted by Mr.Myles she could feel the ship rising into the air.
"Sir, what is a current pushes us to high? Can't we get altitude sickness or something?"
She didn't like the thought of having the pass through a storm to make a landing, either.

"Very well, ruffian!" said Silas, "I would appreciate a simple "No, thank you" next time! One's tone would merit a smack in good society!" He was quite peeved at the boy's insolence towards his superior. Sure, Silas was of a similar age, but had trouble thinking of others as anything but children or seniles. To renew his good cheer, he drank the whiskey himself.

"My name? Lord Silas Oscar Lucia Ebonheart, the second. Ebonheart by name, ebonheart by nature, I'm afraid. But you may call me Silas, if you wish. Most do on this ship. And yours would be, my darling?" He ignored the lad's previous comment on this endearment. Silas was never one to break a habit.

"I believe this ship can be pressurized if need be. As for supplies we can last as long as we need. we are fully stocked for food water and fuel. which reminds me."

The captain turns to the speaker tubes, "Penelope, we have a fresh shipment of foodstuffs in the hold ready to be sent to the galley. I didnt take an exact inventory but we have plenty of everything. ask some of the clanks to help you move it."

Looking back to the charts, Daniel mentions "the Khaos is fast, but we will be hitting in storm season as you said Myles. "does the city have anything to deal with atmospheric pressure?" looking out the bridge windows he sees no problems, the three ships behind them were still there, but one was drifing away on its own heading. the other two were still trailing. he did notice with some annoyance that silas was drinking again....

"Oh yes, the buildings of the city are pressurizable in an emergency."

Penelope heard her name in the middle of Mr Silas's introduction and ran to the speaker tube in the wall. She leaned close and listened to Mr Daniel, then nodded. "Thank you, sir!"

She knelt and the little teapot, which had been following close at her heels, hopped into her hand. "Go round up a few clanks and have them bring the shipment up to the galley. I'll be down in a little while to help them unpack things." The teapot gave a short whistle and a nod and leapt from her hand, skittering away belowdeck once more.

Straightening her vest and knife, Penelope walked back to Mr Silas and Mr Alexandre. There was still an air about Mr Silas that bothered her, though now it seemed like he had gone from an aristocrat to a drunken aristocrat. "He talk a lot." Penelope said quietly of Mr Silas. "My name is Penelope, I'm the cook."

(I have been without a computer for an intolerable period of time. Sorry for not contributing to the thread, not like I contributed much to begin with.)
Still in the bridge, Dominik looked over to the captain and asked his second odd question of the day. "Sir, is there any place within this ship that is appropriate for testing chemical weapons?"

For a short while now, Myles has been asleep at the foot of the navigation perch, since the ship has safely taken off.

Now Sylvian perks up, jumping up from where Myles had sat and grinning at the Professor over his shoulder. "Now here's someone I can get along with! What kind of chemical weapons are we testing, hmmmmm?"

Dominik looked over to Sylvian, feeling somewhat eager yet nervous about explaining his ridiculous plans.
"I'm glad you asked... kind of. I created this acid gun and I wish to test it on this meat that I was given from the kitchen. I could have tested it on anything, but I chose to test it on something close to flesh without having to go out in the streets and look for road kill. It's pretty much the type of experiment you would expect from somebody who works in a makeshift laboratory in his basement."

"Oh no no no, that won't do at all. We'll have this thing a quality weapon. What are we testing, the acid, the delivery system, both? Are we looking at just an anti-personnel device, or are we going to eventually up the ante and corrode steel?"
PostPosted: Sat Oct 10, 2009 7:27 pm

[Bridge]
"I am actually just testing the acid itself. I had the acid alone in a briefcase before, but somebody got into my room and destroyed it. I have the pre-loaded gun on me, however. I did test the way the gun dispenses fluids using more harmless liquids. To answer your second question, the acid is intended to be used on humans and not metals; however, since you brought up that issue, I guess I should strengthen the acid in case of a chaotic robot invasion or something in that category."

Looking up from the charts, Alexandria grimmaced.

"Professor, won't the acid affect the area you're shooting at as well? What if it gets on the deck?"

She waited for an answer, a little worried that the deck of the ship mgiht be affected by his weapon. It never did seem like a good idea to test weapons when they were that high in the air.

Carfully, Alexandria marked their possition on the charts and tacked the edges to the table so it wouldn't roll up.
