As Aurora glowed, she started to change. Her ears grew longer, her tail became skinny and split at the end, she grew larger and lost her mane, and she grew little bushy whiskers. She had become an Espeon. She bent over the look at her owner one more time, and after assuming that she'd wake up soon, she prepared to battle again. The jewel on her forhead started glowing, and she released a psychic blast that seemed to actually damage the Seviper. He looked to be almost out of energy. But he still beared his fangs and lurched at Aurora, who was able to dodge it easily with her newfound agility. She managed to launch a tackle that hit the Seviper head-on, knocking it out as well.

Everything seemed to happen so fast, and suddenly Kasiya realized she was standing next to a gorgeous Espeon.
"Aurora...wow!" Kasiya cried, holding Shocker in her arms. The Pikachu was suffering the effects of the poison, and close to fainting. "Make sure Ryka's OK," Kasiya said, putting Shocker into her Pokeball and facing the Raticate. "We'll take out this overgrown rat!"
Aurora nodded and padded softly over to Ryka, and started nuzzling her face gently. Kasiya felt herself smile lightly - it took a deep bond to cause an Eevee to evolve into Espeon or Umbreon. She was glad that Ryka and Aurora had such a good relationship. Her thoughts focused back on the battle, the Raticate still stood before her, its fangs gnashing the air. It knows Super Fang, Kasiya thought. That move halfs the health of its target. She reached down and unhooked a Pokeball from her belt, and let it fly.

There was a flash of light, and Seto the Persian stood before the Raticate, licking its fangs and flicking its tail. "Let's make this quick, Seto! Scratch attack!" Kasiya ordered, pointing at the Raticate.
"Perssssiannn!" Seto darted in quickly, and raked its claws across the Raticate's body. It howled in pain, and attempted to counter with a weak Hyper Fang attack. Seto batted the Raticate's face away with a paw, and delivered a Bite attack. The Raticate recoiled and fainted, leaving the Rockets both looking stunned. They recalled their fallen Pokemon and turned tail and ran, without uttering a word. Kasiya glanced over at Ryka, who was still out but being taken care of by Aurora. The old man whimpered and struggled in his chair, and Kasiya and Seto walked over to him.
"Are you alright?" Kasiya asked as she removed the gag. Seto used his sharp claws to cut through the rope bonds, and the old man was free.

Ryka awoke right after the battle. As her eyes focused, she saw Aurora, whom was now an Espeon. "Wha.. what happened..? Aurora.. is that.. you?" She smiled and threw her arms around Aurora's neck. Aurora smiled back and nuzzled Ryka, happy that her owner was alright. Ryka managed to get to her feet, and staggered over to Kassie and the old man.
"Whew.. that was an intense battle, you two!" He said, stumbling out of the chair and streching his half asleep limbs. "Thank you both so much. You saved us!" He cried. He looked over his shoulder at the cages and cages of Pokemon, where Seto and Aurora were unlocking them. Once all of the cages were unlocked, many Eevee and thier evolutions ran over to the man. "Oh, yes, I forgot to introduce myself. The name's Eontri. I raise Eevee, as you can plainly see. But if it weren't for you two, my business would be down the drain. As a repayment, I would like you both to choose one of these Pokemon." He whistled, and 5 Eevee and one of every evolution lined up, waiting to be taken to a new home.
((I know the name's stupid, but I couldn't think of anything else that made sense. sweatdrop ))

(( I sense an Umbreon is going to be picked. I remeber giving you permission, I'm right, right? xD ))
"Now Swift and a Quick attack!" Seth called. The lavander Pokemon shot another ray of star shapped rays at the Combusken and rushed forwards along with the Swift attack. It looked like a living Espeon commet among the stars. It made contact with May's Pokemon and her points took a large hit.

((Lol, you got it. You're so smart.))
"Oh, we couldn't do that. These are your Pokemon." Ryka said, noticing they all had little charms around their necks.
"Oh, no, I insist. You saved me. After all, I have plenty of Eevees to evolve. Just take your pick." He replied, a cheeky smile on his face. "Ok, then.." Ryka said as she started walking along the Pokemon, inspecting each one. She stopped at an Umbreon, who seemed a little uniterested in the new girl. Aurora, on the other hand, couldn't take her eyes off of the Umbreon. The sun's morning rays reflected off of his moon-shaped charm, and his rings shone a bright blue. "Oh, he's beautiful!" Ryka cried. He just played it cool and sat.
"Oh, him? He's the little charmer, ain't he? He's so calm all the time, but still full of love. Would you like him?" Eontri asked. Aurora shook her head wildly, still not able to take her eyes off of him. "Well, I can't argue with her," Ryka laughed, "so sure. He seems like a great addition to the team." Ryka kneeled down to him. "Hey, Umbreon, would you like to come home with me?" The Umbreon glanced at her and Aurora, then smiled and licked her hand. "Aww, and so polite! I think I'm going to call you Twilight. Do you like that?" Twilight shook his head in agreement. Ryka picked him up and turned towards Kassie, a smile forming on her face. "Who are you going to choose?"

It was May turn to take a hit. Her Combusken spat a Flamethrowe attack at the Espeon who was caught off gaurd. It followed through with a Skyuppercut. A chunck was taken from Seth's point gauge. One minute left, all Seth had to do was avoid unnecessary attacks and he'd win. No, I'll go out with a bang he though as a playful smile appered on his face.
"Espeon Confusion!" Seth directed, confidence coursing throughout his voice. The Espeon's eyes turned purple just like's the aura around the Combusken. May points dropped to zero as Espeon drained Combusken's health with the psychic attack. It gently lowered the Pokemon down and it's eyes returned to it's normal state.
"The winner of Verdanturf Contest is Seth!" The lady announced. The crowd cheered as Seth was handed a red and pink ribbon. He smiled at his first victory and shook hands with May.

Kasiya watched the exchange with some amusement. Ryka had no fear in taking what she wanted. Kasiya eyed the line-up of Eevee and Eeveelutions, hardly able to believe she'd be able to keep one. She still held Shocker's Pokeball in her hand, and it suddenly wriggled and fell to the ground. The rather weak Pikachu shook herself, and looked around sleepily. Kasiya bent down and picked her up, smiling. "You did great," she said.
"Pikachu." Shocker forced a grin, and slowly climbed up on top of her trainer's head, taking her usual perch. Kasiya walked over to Ryka, and patted Aurora and Twilight. "You guys are going to get along well together," she said with a grin as Seto padded casually over and lied down at her feet. He licked a paw, not paying attention to anybody else. "And of course you were great, Seto," Kasiya giggled. The Persian purred loudly, and continued grooming himself.
It was about that moment that Kasiya felt something pawing at her leg. She looked over, and saw that a Jolteon had taken up residence beside her. His normally spiky fur was flat and smooth, and Kasiya couldn't resist stroking him. Static waves coursed over his body as she touched him, and she couldn't help but feel his energy. "Hello," she said, almost mesmerized.
Eontri chuckled, and came over to them. "This boy's name is Flash," he nodded. "He's always full of energy and curiosity, and he seems to like you. That's funny, considering he doesn't seem to like anybody."
"Flash," Kasiya said quietly, scratching him behind the ear. "I'm happy to say I like him too."
"Jolt!" he cried in return, and more static crackled through his shiny fur.
"May I?" Kasiya asked, unable to resist. Her love for Electricity overrided her sense of creating a well-balanced team, plus she knew that any Electric Pokemon she caught could stay with her father and be perfectly happy playing with all the others back at the Vermilion Gym.
"He's yours," Eontri said, handing her a Pokeball. Kasiya noticed that Flash had a small charm like a lightning bolt around his neck, which reminded her of the one she wore.
"Welcome to the team, Flash," she said, grinning from ear to ear.

Ryka smiled. "Yeah, I think we'll get along great." She said, still scratching Twilight behind his ears. Aurora came up and nuzzled Twilight, who seemed to be happy with his new team. Ryka smiled down at them. "See what I mean? And, look at Flash. He seems to be getting along great. He was just made for you."
Enotri, who seemed pleased with the two girls, just smiled. He walked over to Ryka, and handed her a pink sun charm. "This is for your Espeon. I made these little charms so I could tell all my Pokemon apart. They're also a great fasion statment!" He chuckled. Ryka gratefully took the charm and put it around Aurora's neck. " Oh, thank you so much, Eontri! How could we ever thank you?" She asked.
"Oh, no need for that. You all saved my beloved Pokemon. Thank you." He said with a smile, as he strided over to Kassie. "Now, I can just tell you also have an Eevolution, don't you?"

Almost automatically Kasiya reached onto her belt, and released Ariel. Flash's eyes grew wide, and he circled the Vaporeon excitedly, his ears quivering with delight. Ariel sat down, flicking her fin-like tail, and watched Flash. He sat down next to her, and nuzzled her gently.
"Glad they're getting along," Kasiya laughed, petting them both.

(( Where are you two again? ^^;; ))
After the contest he exited the building. "Where should I go next?" he wondered. He was so indecisive. The Rusboro gym, another contest, or maybe Jhoto. "I think I'll go back to Kanto." He decided after a moment of thought. After a trip across the sea he had still not seen a single Lapras. "I can probably find one there."
He made his way to the train, following the trail of smoke that floated down from the outskirts of town. He flashed his ticket and found a nice, empty seating area. He settled down and the train took off with a lurch. The horn blarred and he was off to his homeland once more, but this time with a contest ribbon.

Noticing that Seto had dozed off, Kasiya recalled him. Shocker moaned slightly from atop her head, signalling that she was still hurting badly, even though she refused to show it.

Kael paused examining a bottle of hyper potion.
"I hate shopping." he said as he through the bottle into the cart in front of him, which was carried supplies for their journey to Verdanturf.
"There. I think our list is completed."
He walked toward the elevator entering ti and pressing the 1st floor button. He leaned against the wall sighing. He closed his eyes and frowned deeply thinking about Blanka and his mother. The elevator pings and he steps out walking to the register and putting his items on the counter.
"Your total comes to two hundred thirty four pikadollars ((what?)) and 11 pokecents." the tan haired girl said.
Kael grinned and opened up his wallet and handed over the money.
"Thank goodness for inheiritance."
After thanking the girl and walking outside he sat down on a bench and began carefully placing the items he had bought into his pack.
"There everytihng fits." He pulled out a Pokeball and threw it into the air.
"Go Munchlax!." The pokemon burst out of its pokeball and stretched.
"Check it out Munchlax I got a portable berry blender."
He pulled out a small box and pressed the blueish silver button on top. A berry blender unfolded and he put three berries into it.
"Get ready Munchlax." Munchlax put his hand over the button ready to press. Kael turned on the machine and they began to make pokeblocks.

((I like that word - Eevolutions))
"Oh, wow! A Vaporeon! And what good condition it's in! It's one of the healthiest I've ever seen! Here." Eontri said as he pulled a water drop shaped charm out of his pocket. He put it in Kassie's hands and said, "Good luck."
"Aww, I never knew you had a Vaporeon! It's so cute, and Flash seems to like her too." Ryka said, looking opon the cute Eevolutions. "Oh, yeah! Twilight, you have to meet Thunder!" Ryka said as she dropped his pokeball. The small electric mouse popped out, and instantly stared at all the new faces surrounding him. "Thunder," Ryka said as she picked him up and scratched under his chin, "Aurora evolved, and we have a ne team member! Say hello to Twilight!" Ryka put him down, but he only seemed to be interested in Shocker. He ran over to her and licked a scratch on her cheek, hoping it would feel better. "I guess so things never change." Ryka said with a laugh.

Shocker seemed pretty content to play around with Thunder as Kasiya fastened the charm around Ariel's neck. She showed it off proudly, her diamond-like eyes shimmering. Flash pranced around her excitedly, giving off static waves with each step. Everyone's hair seemed to stand on end a bit as well.
Kasiya thanked Eontri again, eager to get Shocker to the Pokemon Center for treatment. She was starting to change her mind about challenging the gym for today, but she'd see what her team had to say after they were rested up.
