My mom often sits at the computer and plays this bubble-popping game. While she plays, she usually watches television. She soon found a show that she liked, and started recording it. I watch it with her sometimes, but she watches the recordings by herself a lot too. She loves it. This show?

You know, so many people are just like "Oh yeah, because the internet is SUCH serious business rolleyes ", but you can hurt someone's feeling's online too and being able to cowardly hide behind anonymity doesn't make it any more reasonable to act like a total jerkface.
Some girl posts in the wrong forum. She doesn't understand what the AMC is, which she makes obvious when she asks. All the following comments consist of "THIS IS SPAM!" and "YOU FAIL!". How hard is it to answer the stupid question so that she understands, and let it die?
It was still awful there when I was a reg, but I can't stand the newer regulars. It's like... ALL they do is spam and troll and say "gtfo" or post name-drop threads. It'll be just like the GD sooner or later. I think what is needed is a handful of high-profile bans, but I don't think it'll happen. I don't even think those will help the situation too much. Look at Zombie Gunman. He always comes back from the dead. A more pro-active solution instead of a reactive one is needed, at least in my opinion. Even then, there's still chances that might not even work.

Like... with the GD it's gotten so bad that half the mods seem to have given up. I'm hoping that by trying to keep the AMC clean constantly it would hold off on becoming Gaia's second cesspool.

Oh wait... I'm going camping Friday night with some friends from school, and then I have midterms to worry about confused
Pssh, it's like, just 'cause I'm in school means I'm supposed to put all that first and not just watch the same reruns of America's Next Top Model, play the same Phoenix Wright cases over again and play geetar all day! xp

You know, when everybody here had run of the roost in the AMC, we were never like that. Yes, we were assholes. But never as immature, and pathetic as those people.

It's not just AMC. The Music Forum has been miserable that way for an eternity, and, as ironic and politically incorrect as it is, the Rap subforum is like Gaia's ghetto.
80% of the threads have nothing to do with music. 15% is spam. The remaining 5% is infighting among users. Any attempt to clean up is bound to end in a revolt, because they've been allowed to do it for so long, and you can't blame the mods for doing nothing, because there are only three of them, all with other forums and two with omni status, so you can't blame them for being too busy. neutral
