Jacob looked at Kiah with concern in his eyes. "...kiah....talk to me" he said simply. "...you didn't ask me yesterday about my nightmares...so there is no point in using that against me...and what haunts me is gone for now...but what haunts you is here...don't make me be cruel....please" he begged her gently

*Watches him tiredly and shakes her head* I won't. *Eyes glaze over a bit and talks as if she's reciting something* It's over and done with, therefore it's not important anymore. I'm simply too childish to let it go, and leave it in the past. Once I forget, then no one will ever know anyway, so why care? Really, it's embarrassing, having to take a stupid pill every night. I'd shame everyone in my family if they knew about it.

Jacob shook his head. "....stupid girl..." he leaned over her and looked down at her, face to face. He pressed his lips to her own gently and kissed her softly...caring clear in the way his lips pressed to hers. He pulled back and looked down into her eyes. "it matters because it affects you....you are bothered by this....kiah...there is no shame in taking a pill to keep you sane.... would you tell me that i should be ashamed of drinking to run from my demons?" he asked her and placed his forehead against her own.

*Snaps out of it as his lips covered hers gently, allowing her eyes to close and savor the kiss, not minding the suddenness of it. She managed to keep tears at bay as he stared at her, shaking her head at his question* No, I suppose it's pretty much the same thing... *Stares up at him as their foreheads touch, still reluctant to say anything*

So tired... *Looks at him with half-lidded eyes, not talking about the cold* You better hope your fire sleeping powder stuff works well, or you're in for a rude awakening. *Squeezes his hand thankfully, shaking a bit in fear, hoping that it'll work*

Jacob's eyes weren't reflecting happiness or cockiness, but instead sadness. "doll....sometimes all it takes is one night" he answered her gently. He sat up again and pulled out his lighter. He light the small orange flame, and it flickered to a light purple in his hand before falling to dust in his palm. "...sleep well doll" he whispered, leaning in to kiss her cheek goodnight, and then blew the dust in her face and watched her drift to sleep before sneaking out of her room to head back to the noah mansion and off to bed himself. The restraints holding kiah down would disappear in the morning when she woke up.

((Nope! <33 I joined in November 2008... and the guild started July 2008. But the guild started because a bunch of the original members were hanging out in a random thread somewhere in the recesses of Gaia. xD Hell, I thought you were here longer than me, but I have no idea anymore.

((I only remembered because when Lavi dragged me in there was a Halloween event going on and it ended the day after I posted up. >.>;; That's crazy though! I really thought most of you had been in the guild longer than me, besides the new people, of course! I felt like the... old-new person. ;u; Haha.
