I love that game. I'm really really good at it. Roy's fully charged B is the most powerful attack in the game, because it instantly kills anyone, at any health.

We should settle the tournament by means of Smash! Then nobody can complain about godmodding. XD

Lies.

Because I'm too lazy to explain it personally and someone else has done so quite neatly from GameFAQs - here's an explanation of.. the most powerful ability in the game, relatively:

Quote:
Game and Watch Kamikaze glitch

In a multiplayer game that features both Ness and Game & Watch, there is a glitch that turns Game & Watch into an unhittable projectile.

To begin, have Game & Watch use the Bucket to absorb three full-powered PK Flash attacks from Ness. After three attacks, the Bucket will be full. From there, have Game & Watch unload the Bucket onto a shielded Ness. Ness's shield will break, and Game & Watch will fly away from the impact at blinding speed.

Not only is it a glitch for Game & Watch to fly away from the impact in the first place, but he turns into a projectile that deals instant death to any other character he touches; furthermore, Game & Watch travels so fast that it's nearly impossible for an opponent to react to the glitch if they don't know that it's coming in advance.

Tacitus
Edit: OH! Yeah, I read it again, and it might seem a little bit off because I meant for Mindblaze's push on the sawblades to help the dodge, I just kinda worote it all backwards and confusing. >.<```
That kinda solves the point I was getting at; I know they're capable of moving out of the way, I just figured with the speed the blades were moving they wouldn't have the time to (like the way a man on foot is plenty capable of moving out of the way of a bullet, the reason he can't dodge it is because it's so much faster than him). With the push on the blades though; no complaints.

Clash Kiddick
Ersatz Vexic - sad Half-joke character that I tried hard to make seem like some newb from MX, but it kinda made me sad how badly he was treated just because of his last name. Psychofish apparently wasn't pleased with how the match with him went and Ertai probably didn't appreciate my use of a character whose first name means "false", so I just scrapped him.
I'm actually dissappointed it didn't finish, because I did bring Alchert here to test, like Rivven, for use other places. See how I was at fighting, and how the characters and styles were, as before this tourney I've only ever done one thing that could be called a PvP fight; a really long time ago with Rivven.

As I recall, the issue was that I thought I was being clear enough with what Alchert did, and from what I was reading of the character's actions, he wouldn't have been able to move out of the way of the 'club' or the thrown up shrapnel from it striking stone.

Seriously. When I've got free time, I'm bored, and have doubt, I will position myself in the way of one or both persons in a cqc and figure out if something is plausable or not. With what I was trying to convey Alchert doing, what I read your posts as saying would have left him still taking a hard smacking. Though I could have not been getting the right idea.

That, and you were mimicing the egotistic attitude of people who play godly powerful characters; and in my mind, despite how some people may be used to rp's where everyone is a god, in my mind there's a reason why it's called 'godmoding'. I just tend to get pickier and testier than usual about those people. I don't mind losing, but people making arrogant assumptions, that annoys me.

Good job handling that many alternate accounts at all, by the way.

I just noticed the votes on matches in the FFA round two. I voted in two, but I'm not voting in my own match yet, maybe at all.

I'm real surprised two people actually voted for me. All things put aside, there's only one person here who I'd suspect might feel that I'd come out on top in... most any given match.

Though, after Tac's last post, I'm almost tempted to vote myself. Dangerous ground when we're both playing with the same element. Anyhow, I'll try to post tomorrow. It is gonna take me some time for a good post of what I want, all bases covered so it really makes sense, and I've got to get to bed for school now.

And yes, I've noticed, my OOC lengthy babbles are returning. gonk

???

Yeah, I don't blame you for reacting that way, Fish. I only partially remember what the dispute was about, but I was overdoing the character.

I think I'll only do the "Who will win?" votes for the matches in FFA, and the other branches when they come down to the...quarterfinals? Unless a mod wants to edit polls into the matches in other branches.

Yeah... ah... NO.

I think Quarterfinals are fine enough. We can use them for the odds placed in the Lucky Devil gambling thread. razz

If I recall correctly, there are 2 winners from each bracket.

Meaning at this point (8 fights) is the quarterfinals, and the finals will have 2 fights (2 winners). Right?

Then the 2 winners from each bracket are put into a 'champion tournament' or something... O/M, FFA, Com, BT... that makes 8, which brings us down to real quarterfinals.

Yep, that's right. The only thing is that originally, it was supposed to be 2 from Barton, 2 from Commerce, 2 from Chatterbox, and one from O/M and FFA each since they were kind of sub-divisions representing Guilds RP and were smaller than the others. Taking an equal amount from all now is kind of unfair to those in Barton and Commerce, because they have to go through twice the competition to make it to the real tournament.

I couldn't decide how I wanted to equalize it, but I think we'll just stick to 2 from each. FFA and O/M were open all along to whomever wanted to join them, so the early bird gets the worm in this case.

The only other way would be to somehow take 3 from Commerce and Barton each, one from O/M and FFA each. One way to do that is when Barton and Commerce both come down to two matches, there could be a "drawing" of each match, and the one drawn has to actually be fought out...whereas the other one isn't, and both competitors in that match go to the final tournament along with the sole winner of the unlucky match. Just an idea.

Follow? Thoughts?

By the way, I don't have any problem with you guys making clarifications to the rules on the front page, or even editing some stuff and making it prettier.

I'm out for the night.
