Streamjumper Shoujo Phoenix I made tempura bacon once. It was delicious. That sounds like one hell of a tasty culinary paradox... Once I have (what I consider) sushi rice in the house again, I shall endeavor to try this as a roll. Of course, I'm a weirdo that prefers turkey bacon over real bacon. emo

So, I just finished reading I Am Legend. The only things the movie shares with the written work are the title and the concept, and even then that's stretching. The movie didn't even get the concept right. (aside from the initial few scenes, after the setting is placed, the movie just presents a completely different story, no where close to what Richard Matheson wrote about)
In short, don't waste your time with the movie. It was mediocre, at best, and merely a cookie-cutter "horror" flick that scared you by making things jump out and say, "BOO!" It reflects Matheson's work about as much as a piece of paper reflects a bullet.

I know I was kind of interested in seeing the movie but I wasn't sure because the trailers don't really say anything about what the movie is about except he's the last man on earth. I have a lot of s**t to read and see though, so I don't know if I'd pick the book up or not. Getting it at the library would be pointless because I'd never finish it before I'd have to bring it back.
