Katerine sat quietly through the whole procedure. When he began channeling, she only knew it by the extreme absence of emotion from his bond. It was rather interesting to see how he channeled. When the weave was set, his emotions became tenfold and it seemed like she had a miniature Nine sitting in her head. She almost felt like she could communicate with him with her mind, but that was not possible.

After a few moments, Nine recovered his strength and looked to her. An easy smile was on her face, and she was wrapped in a calm state. His emotions though her flowing through her causing some nervousness. It was going to take some time to learn to control this new bond. She did feel like she had more energy though, and Katerine could swear that her eyesight was just a hair better.

"Nothing really happened except that your bond became incredibly stronger and I feel like your emotions are overriding my own. I feel like I have more energy and my sight is improved by just a little. The bonding definitely worked though, I wouldn't get this kind of a result just from my own bonding."

Katerine rose and moved toward her unpacked saddlebags. She would change just the dress she was wearing before leaving the Tower this time. The rest of the things in her bags were clean anyway.

"We need to go speak with Skiiy. I don't think it is going to take Mercury and Azalea that long to get ready, and I want to make sure that Skiiy has enough time to put things into order if he is coming with us."

Katerine shook her head, it would be no problem to get him clothes and a horse. She sent the calm, undisturbed emotion through the bond because he was still rather jumpy and unsure.

"Don't worry. We need to go get you and Skiiy fancloth cloaks. They have other clothing there too. Getting a horse will be no problem either because the stables always have extras. Is there anything else on your mind before we go see Skiiy?"

After her words, Nine seemed considerably more calm, but another emotion had arose. Katerine shrugged it off for a while, but it was difficult since he was so prominent in her mind. The entire time she walked to Skiiy's office, Katerine attempted to figure out what the emotion was. After a while she realized it was self anger. A little confused by this, Katerine turned to look at Nine briefly. He didn't appear to be angry, but it was there in the bond.

Before knocking on Skiiy's door, Katerine turned to Nine with a smile on her face. She placed a hand on his forearm and looked up at him. Sometimes it was annoying that she was short in stature.

"Is something bothering you? I can't ignore the anger that it flowing through the bond."

Oh, Light! I can't controll what goes through the bond! I've heard you can, but I don't know how! She'll know I'm lying!

Despite her having to look up at him, it was like looking into a face that could read everything and cure any illness.

"Well, I was just wondering, ah, where the uh, stables were! Yes, I'm rather perturbed that I left my horse outside Tar Valon because I did not count on needing it so soon. That is all, I should have kept my horse."

He knew it didn't work, but it was the best he could come up with short of "Katerine, I think you're beautiful."

Light save me...Did I just say that?

When she spoke to him, the emotions calmed down a little and changed more to a frantic feeling. It was kind of amusing to feel the different emotions and a giggle wanted to escape her lips. Katerine listened to Nine's reason though and arched a delicate eyebrow at him.

"You said you didn't have a horse. You're not lying to me right away now are you?"

Before he answered her question though, panic flooded the bond and she wondered why. When he spoke next, the words that came from Nine's mouth where the last thing in the world she expected to hear.

"Katerine, I think you're beautiful."

Shock flooded her mind and she blinked several times before shaking her head. Of all the things that came from Nine, that had to be the one that affected her the most. Realizing that her reaction probably wasn't making him feel any better though, Katerine put on a smile and patted his forearm lightly.

"Thank you Nine. I must say that was probably the least expected thing from you, but it's nice to know you feel that way. You're quite handsome yourself. Now that you have that out, is that were this torrent of emotions is coming from?"

((No, it's not the knoweledge that other people are reading it, it's that they're a part of it, and actually contributing...plus, I probably couldn't keep up with roleplaying Skiiy and someone else at the same time...it's hard, and their personalities might accidentally overlap.))

((You know, as far as I see it, there's nothing wrong with falling in love with your girlfriend over and over. For any of you who are tired of seeing us fall in love, well, don't read the posts. There. blaugh ...I'll respond later.))
