I just woke up, so I really don't care about the results right now. Congrats to the winners, though.
Anyway, can anyone here make sprites? And, I mean sprites with the quality of Spectral's little snow cat thing. Did she make those?
And, OH MY ******** GOD! DAMN IT! I hate onscreen keyboards and my fingers! BACKSPACE, NOT P, YOU PIECE OF s**t THUMB! UGH!!!

But, anyway....I'm not at all angry. Skeragon actually did better than I expected. It should have lost to Draginal, considering the piss poor job I did on it compared the endless effort Lucifer put into Draginal. Guess people just hate Lu that much...? That's the only explanation I'll accept as to why Skeragon beat his entry. Because, wow. I barely even tried on a lot of the details of my entry except for the mythology of it. @_@

I really liked the idea, it's just that some of the things could have been better, you know? I think it could have been a really neat fakemon if you were available to work more on it, and maybe even consider making a dual type of some kind out of it. But i understand how stressful it can be to fit in some time to work on such things if you have a busy life.

Oh, no, i didn't mean it like that at all! I'm sorry, i just assumed that maybe you were looking for someone that wasn't specs. I'm sure that if you had something in mind and talked to her, you could probably work something out. She's done sprites for others before, too. And she helped fix the shading on the chifaera sprite that i scratched out.

Vigilia  WOOO I WON! >w<~! Congrats to the winners! It was quite the challenge! Also, condolences to the ones that didn't quite make the cut. If you plan on entering again in the future, i hope that you can improve from the input you got this time around and shine up some really good competitors! And hopefully winners. ty to everyone that voted and liked my Gekkit line~ Lol Kai approves xD Man there were so many good entries, and even though unfortunately they couldn't all win, I really do hope a lot of them improve and try again. It's always awesome to see people come back with improved entries to win. >w< Yes I made those sprites, though it's part pokemon sprites, part photoshop skills, part my own design. For instance Saberal's shape is based on a Raikou sprite, though I remade the face entirely, because no iron man face mask for Saberal, and I made the tail and the beaded necklace myself, as well as completely redoing the skin to look like a show leopard instead of a tiger stripe. If you want a sprite from me you can order in in my shop, though fair warning, I'm extremely busy and there's people still in line ahead of you, not to mention a custom made sprite will take a long time and I won't do it for cheap. The only reason I make custom sprites for the guild fakemon is because people need the sprites to use the fakemon. Also the flurry phasing animation was all me, but I don't offer animation services unless I get paid real money because animating takes a huge chunk of time and dedication that I cannot spend for free = A= And er... I'm sorry for your thumb....? o Ao On screen keyboards are pretty annoying, I have to admit, knowing from experience. EDIT: I'm certainly not the kind of person who only makes sprites for myself. I have a whole shop open and have made plenty of people customized trainer sprites and recolored pokemon. o Ao I love making people things, however, when it comes to making original works, it takes a LOT of time and dedication if you want it to look good, no matter how great you are at it. And I'm a perfectionist. = w=;;; So making recolors and designs to color into a base is easier and I offer it up to everyone, whereas scratching a sprite out is another thing entirely, and why I don't offer it openly in my shop. I mean, I'll do it if you specifically request it and give me a good price, but again, these things take time on my part, and I won't give them away as easily as my other works.

Glad to know you're not the barbarian with no respect for the bone dragon tradition. I appreciate the input, but....Yeah. I'm not Lucifer. I'm not going to stress myself to the point of having to take medication just to please others only to be scorned because of an attitude caused by stress and possibly side effects. It's my entry, not anyone else's, and I'll make it my way. Simple as that. Input is appreciated and welcome, but I'll probably use very little of it if I use any at all.

Making Fakemon sprites is different than doing recolors or slight modifications to existing sprites. So, I was referring to that when I asked if you only made sprites for yourself. Sorry! Anyway, I'm just looking for someone who would be willing to make a Draginal sprite. Lu's in the hospital, so I wanted to help him get the missing part of Draginal's information to make him feel better and to reduce some of the stress he has about not being able to make it himself. I'm willing to pay, of course, but before I make a post in the art request forum, I though I'd ask around here.

Well, it's not referring to the voter who said Skeragon was "just another bone dragon", or something along those lines. I expected that because, yes. Bone dragons are almost everywhere. What I was referring to was the anon gift I got in response to the entry being posted in my test thread that read, and I quote: "omg i cant believe u want to make a bone dragon a pokemon. cant u make smth more original? ur an idiot." Yes, someone actually sent a crappy anonymous gift with that message. It happens to me more often than you'd think. I'd report them, but I just like to sit back and laugh at how pathetic some people are. They must be pretty sad people to actually go that far to remain anonymous. rofl Plus, if any of them turn out to be HER, I run the risk of being hacked again for getting her into trouble. So, I live with it and make the most of the comedy.

Right, well again, I'm happy to make fakemon sprites for any custom contest winners since it's for the guild, and have already been in the process of doing so, and again, I don't mind helping to edit things like Chifeara's wings when Vigi requested it, and I'm not opposed to making a sprite from scratch otherwise if I get payed for my labor, especially now that school has started so I have a bizillion other things I need to do = A=; and goodness gracious, I hope he's okay! D: But anyways if it's a sprite of Draginal you want, you could probably just look up drakenguard 3 Mikhail sprite or pixel art or pokemon sprite and find something that could work instead of having to pay for a custom one. That's easier since Mikhail is an actual character and probably has a fan base somewhere that's made pixel art of it.
