"something about politics, If I recall.." He swept back another matted dread of hair behind his ear. " What does it matter though? Supposably shes was exiled, i thought." He sighed slightly, though perhaps it was his own fault for bringing her up, even further. His yellow eyes danced wildly with the bright color of the fire reflecting from them.

"She deserted her kingdom when she was needed most, branding her a traitor in the eyes of many. I admit that we all have made our mistakes but I can not trust or respect anyone that commits themselves to the actions that Sylph did." Issildia replied icily as she finally slid her blade into its sheath.

As many of his companions were long gone from Kierdon, Archer had stirred. during the fight, he had overexerted himself, and lay forgotten underneath a building's worth of rubble. When he awoke, the blood was set as stain upon the rock, the city damned to lay privy to ruinous conditions, and he was alone. All he could hear was the beasts whose breath smelt of flesh, growling, and prowling among the empty buildings. All he could think was to run, but he had no strength. His bow lay broken with the city, as he headed southwards, a tune on his lips, and a heavy weight on his heart. All he could do was pray that he made it somewhere, before he died.

Kegawa shrugged. not having anything more to say on the matter, his opinions wouldnt change hers, so I thought it troublesome to keep going on. His gaze returned to the fire for several moments. " So what is it that prevents you from trusting me." He looked up at her with a curious expression.

As Archer departed the remaining dalion beasts that remained caught his scent, the nearest of their number turning to silently follow him. As the beast neared it's prey, the hunger that drove it broke it's control and the creature lunged forward, jaws opening to catch the azerian unawares. But suddenly the silver washed blade of a naganita etched with runes of some long dead language bit deep into the flesh of the dalion beast rending its head from the body.
"You should hurry, the rest of the beasts will have heard that" uttered voice that the belonged to the one who had attacked the creature. A voice that belonged to none other that Kyrion Iroea, the leader of the Azerians.

Archer froze, he had sensed the beast too late, and had expected fangs in his left shoulder. His left arm was of no use to him, in it's current state, and his right was preoccupied holding the left. When he saw the flash that was Kyrion's blade, he was sure he had been saved, but seeing who it was, he felt damned. "I do not care if the beasts bet me, Kyrion, I will take them if I need to." He turned, walking, limping slightly, his left leg also injured, but still functional.

Issildia's eyes became downcast at his question, "If you were in my position, what would you do?" she said in a somber tone as she looked at the fire. "You appear after all this time and after all that has happened; you can't expect us to offer up our trust so easily...we would not be alive if we acted in such a manner."

Kyrion only frowned slightly at Archer's response, "Do you expect to survive in this condition? Admirable really...but also foolish." He made no move as to follow Archer since he didn't seemed to be getting far in any case.

He stopped, and looked downwards. "Sometimes, you have to make a choice between life and your beliefs..." He closed his eyes for a second. "And I have compromised myself before... I will go with you... but where?" Archer felt a stone drop in his gut. He had agreed to join his parents's murderer.

Kyrion made no motion that implied that he knew what Archer was experiencing; he knew well enough the reasons but he had other thoughts on his mind at that point in time.
"North." he replied distantly.
"Events are transpiring that have set more into motion than you could possibly imagine , I require information and allies would be of use...I believe that your former companions are driven by similar motives…"

Archer remembered Issildia, and couldn't help feeling deserted. "Well, I came from the North, the rest of those beasts are there, and I can't fly over em, or outrun them like this, so unless you have transportattion, I don't know how to get north of there."

Kyrion smirked slightly, "You young ones always presume that reaching a destination must be done in a physical manner...." he said in an slightly scathing tone. As the roars of the dalion beasts rose to a crescendo within the ruins Kyrion's expression became devoid of emotion. "Getting the two of us past the border will be easy enough if you will allow it, that is." As Kyrion said this his emerald colored eyes took on a lighter hue and suddenly the air around them rose into a circling tempest. Without a word Kyrion then held out his left hand to Archer. As he did this the remaining dalion burst out of the ruins, heading straight toward the two azerians as Kyrion calmly waited for Archer to give him his hand in order for them to escape.

Kegawa nodded, agreeing with her. " Well then what is there to do show you that I can be trusted. Other than my word I see no other way of proving this to you." He thought to himself, as his eyes too returned to the fire.

"That is the essence of trust...you can not prove it by mortal means." she replied. "But that leaves little choice for either of us, so perhaps you can accept the illusion of trust until a chance comes for such things to be proven."

Archer gulped, hate in his eyes for a second, but it left as he grasped Kyrion's hand.
