At about noon Jaeshan stopped for lunch. He'd made pretty good progress that morning, and he'd be at the training spot in a few hours. Mightyena seemed happy to be taking a break, and promptly dozed off. Jaeshan released the his other three Pokemon and gave them some food, and watched them interact. Nidorino paid little attention to the wobbly Bellsprout before him, and Butterfree flitted around the area, looking for flowers. Jaeshan lied back, and closed his eyes. They'd do some solid training for today and most of tomorrow, then he'd try his luck with Misty.

Jaeshan opened his eyes, and was somewhat groggy. He realized he'd fallen asleep, and through the trees he could see the sun had traveled across the sky. How long had he been out? He sat up and looked around. Nidorino and Mightyena were both asleep, and Butterfree was resting on a tree branch, also snoozing. Bellsprout was nowhere to be seen.
"Bellsprout?" Jaeshan called softly, as not to wake up the other Pokemon. "Hey where are you?"
He got to his feet and stretched. Mightyena looked up at him and yawned. Nidorino stirred a bit and also looked up.
"Do you guys know where Bellsprout went?" he asked, looking around. They looked at each other, then back at him, and shook their heads. "Just great," he muttered, and walked over to Mightyena. He sprang to his feet, tail wagging. He seemed to know what his trainer would ask of him.
"Mightyena, could you use Odor Sleuth to find Bellsprout's scent?" he asked, just as the Pokemon had predicted. Mightyena gave a slight yip and put his nose to the ground, sniffing intently.
Jaeshan walked over to Butterfree and gently stroked her head. She chittered softly in reply, and looked up at him. "Seems Bellsprout's gone AWOL," he said. Butterfree unfolded her wings and flapped them a few times before flying up.
Mightyena gave a cry, and jerked his head up. He'd found the scent. "Good job," Jaeshan smiled, and looked to Butterfree. "You two go on up ahead. Nidorino and I will clean up here and follow you." The two Pokemon disappeared into the trees, Butterfree calling softly, Mightyena still using Odor Sleuth.
"I just hope he hasn't gotten himself into trouble," Jaeshan said, looking to Nidorino.

((I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to get on in a while, busy with schoolwork and stuff. Plus, my birthday's on Wednesday and I just got XD.))
Ryka smiled back at Kassie. "Alright.. but I'm sure we can handle it, right guys?" She nodded at her two pokemon, who nodded right back with looks of determination on thier faces. I just hope I can get another Pokemon soon.. Ryka thought as she followed Kassie into the back of the large building.

((No worries...that's what secondary characters are for!! <3 You're the one who came up with this idea, so you'd better run with it, and what the Rockets are doing 3nodding ))
Kasiya grit her teeth and watched the Rockets dart across a rather dimly lit room and up a flight of stairs at the back. Kasiya looked at Ryka, and nodded, and the two headed for the stairs as well. I can't wait to give those Rockets a thrashing, Kasiya thought to herself as they approached the stairs.

((Yeah, I know.. Do you think I post to much OOC?))
As they reached the top of the stairs, they found out just what the Rockets were planning. They saw an old, bald man tied up in a chair, being help captive by the Rockets while they stole his most important posessions. His Pokemon. He owned many Eevee, plus many of their evolutions.
When the man noticed the two girls standing in the doorway, he tried to scream for help, but all that came out was a mutter. When the Rockets noticed them, the two members from before quickly ran over.
"Who are you?" The girl asked, pulling a pokeball out of her jacket.
"Whoever they are," the guy replied back, "they aren't getting any of these Eevee! Let's get 'em!"
They both pulled out their pokeballs, releasing a Raticate and an Arbok. Ryka turned her head towards Kassie. "A double battle, I guess?"

"It looks that way," Kasiya grimaced, looking the Raticate and Arbok up and down. She grinned, and stepped forward. She could feel the sparks emanating from Shocker's cheeks atop her head. "Holding an old man hostage? Shame on you," Kasiya said, waving her finger at them. "You guys are in for a world of hurt." She winked at Ryka, and pointed forward. "Let's take 'em! Go for it, Shocker!" The excited Pikachu jumped down and faced the Arbok, her cheeks sending out sparks wildly. The Arbok swayed and hissed, flicking its tongue angrily.

((Does anyone know what color the Verdanturf Town's ribbon is? ))
Seth smirked, knowing victory was just a battle away. He stepped up on stage about dozen yards away on the other side of the stage was May. She smiled and tossed a Pokeball on stage as if she were a baseball player. A Combusken appered with a grand opening. Seth held his Pokeball forwards for a dramatic moment then tossed it into the air. An Espeon appered with on stage after doing a flip from it's Pokeball. Just a few seconds after its land it flicked it twin tail and gave out a cry which the judges appered pleased with. "Seth vs. May! Begin!" The announcer shouted with unnatural enthusiasm. The two faces appered on a large screen with a five minute timer ticking away.

Kael stretches slightly and heads for the Lilycove Pokemart.
"This place is huge."
He had put Munchlax back in its Pokeball so it didn't wander off and get lost. He smiled as he entered the mart.
"This place is huge." He pulled a list out of his pocket.
"Let's get started..."
((I believe that the Verdanturf ribbon is red and orange/yellow...? i could be wrong though))

((Wait...if the Rockets are doing anything, they should try to break Giovanni free from prison. *points to...a lot of pages back*))
Kilik growled as the Golbat swooped around him, Screeching loudly. His arms went around, swatting at the Pokemon as they flew. "Get...away!" he barked.
"Calm down!" ordered Koga from the side.
"It's times like this I could learn Calm Mind..." Kilik laughed, looking down at the Flareon. His eyes widened. The Pokemon was asleep on the floor.
"It seems your Flareon has caught on. Maybe you should try it, boy!" Kilik growled at the Gym Leader and sat on the floor, closing his eyes. He imagined as if the waterfall was pounding his back and the floor was tilting, yet he kept his balance. Flareon snorted in its sleep. The Golbat flew around even more, releasing more Screech attacks. Kilik smirked.

((Those guys are just minor, minor Rocket peons. The higher-ups are probably workin' on it. ^_^))
Kasiya didn't know how much battle experience Ryka had, so she sent Shocker into action. "Thunderbolt!" she cried. "And make it a good one!"
Shocker darted out of the way as the Arbok lunged at her, an attempted Wrap attack. The Pikachu jumped into the air, and released a bolt of lighting. Arbok was struck head on and cried out as the electricity raced through it's body.

((^_^ Again, sorry for the inactiveness. Schoolwork and Nintendogs! I FINALLY got it after a long month of saving allowance.. and birthday money. Gotta love birthday money.))
Ryka winked back at Kassie. "She's right." Ryka pointed a stern finger towards them. Suddenly, Aurora jumped out of her backpack, willing to fight. "Okay! We've beaten them before, so let's beat em again!" She said as Aurora posed for battle. "Okay, let's try out your new attack. Attract!" The little Eevee ran up to the Raticate and curled her tail around it's face, with eyes full of beauty and innocence. The Raticate just instantally fell for it, and stared at her.
"No! Raticate, don't fall for that, use Super Fang!" The Rocket yelled, which snapped it out of infuation. (Sp?) It reared it's fangs at Aurora and charged. "Uh-oh.. Aurora, dodge it!" She jumped out of the way, but the Raticate's sharp fangs scarred her paw. She fell down in pain, but got back up. "Aurora, are you alright? You don't have to fight, you know.." But she just shook her head and growled. "Alright, then.. Tackle!"

Mitsu was getting impatient and she eagrly wanted the next badge. "C'mon Mike! Hurry up!" she pleaded.

"We've got the upper hand Aura! Let use it as an advantage! Swift!," Seth directed. The Espeon opened it mouth sending star shaped rays flying at the Combusken. "That's not going to work! Dodge that!," May cried with a smirk on her face. Her smile suddenly faded as Aura's attack gained a purple hue and flew up into the air.
Combusken was dazed from the sudden turn of events it halted and watched the stars fly in intricate patterns. Then they came down upon the Pokemon in a star formation. May's points took a hit and the time continued to tick away.

The Arbok seemed staggered, but still raring to go. As Shocker landed on all fours, it reared back and fired a Poison Sting at the smallish electric mouse. Shocker took a direct hit and fell, wincing in pain.
"Shocker!" Kasiya cried. "Get up! We can't let the Rockets take advantage of people!"
The Pikachu glanced back at her trainer and grit her teeth. She could feel the poison from the attack seeping through her body, whittling away at her health. She got to her feet, visibly shaken.
"Is that all you got?" The Rocket laughed as he set the Arbok back on the attack. It bared it's fangs and lunged at Shocker for a Bite attack. Shocker took a minor hit and zipped into an Agility, becoming a yellow blur. She leaped up and landed on Arbok's head, and at the command of Kasiya, released a critical-hit Thunderbolt. The electricity lit up the room and both Pokemon collapsed in a heap, Shocker still on top and conscious, but in pain. The poison seemed to be taking its toll.

The two Rockets grunted, and one threw another Pokeball. Out of it came a Seviper, poison dripping from it's fangs.
Aurora winced from pain in her paw, but she growled at the Seviper. Then she looked over at Shocker, whom was also wincing. She tried to smile, but was able to jump out of the way of a Poison Fang attack. "Okay, Aurora, Tackle!" She ran so fast, the seviper was unable to dodge it, but the attack only knocked it back a few inches. The Seviper countered that with a Wrap attack. It squezzed Aurora tighter and tighter, and then threw her on the floor. It's tail then started glowing purple as it prepared for a Poison Tail. "No, Aurora!" Ryka yelled as a tear ran down her face. She ran out and grabbed Aurora, holding her tight. But the Rocket didn't stop the attack, and it hit Ryka, making her fly into the wall. "Atleast you're okay." Ryka whispered the Aurora before she fell to the ground. Aurora opened one eye and found that her trainer had been knocked out. As hard as she could, Aurora cried for her trainer to wake up, but she wouldn't. Tears formed in her eyes, too, as she scowled at the Seviper. Then, suddenly, she began to glow a bright white.
