AzurePaleSky OH! My old roommate used to bring these home... and sometimes he'd have mango-covered tamarind. Spicy but good! The FDA considers it unfit for human consumption. xp Reason: FILTHY Section: 402(a)(3), 801(a)(3); ADULTERATION Charge: The article appears to consist in whole or in part of a filthy, putrid, or decomposed substance or be otherwise unfit for food.
I've had Tamarind soup before though, which wasn't all that bad. The FDA thing is a bit concerning, but hey. One man's putrid rot is another man's candy?

Ashram McDuck I don't say much, but I have the annoying habit of being (some would say) overly-nosey. When something comes up that's out of place, chances are I'm going to start sniffing around. I was in the dark about all of this, so I was more than curious to find out what all the ruckus was. Concerning all the secrecy - I've always felt that someone feels a need to hide something, it's usually because they're afraid or because they're ashamed. Neither option generally leads to happy results once that which was hidden is brought to light. While I have idea what was said in this secret guild, I do know that things said behind closed doors almost always makes them more brutal in tone than was intended. Intentions are meaningless when things are hidden. Concerning Spider - Frankly I have no idea how much any of you guys (nix a few) know about the relations between Spider and I. Now, if you did know, I'm just a little confused as to why you didn't come to me about your relations with him. I'll admit I'm one of the more quiet ones of the bunch, but its still a question I've been wondering a little about. (As I can kind of understand not wanting to take the matter to Stream, even though I don't agree with the logic behind it) I didn't know you were close to Spider.

I'd be sad if I was really eating cute gibbons!

Is that unfair?

Is that unfair? Or what about the secrets someone takes to their graves? There's some things about me I would never tell anyone.. I've told two people about them ever. One of them I know I was able to trust with it, the other not so much...but he's probably either forgotten about who I am and what it was, or well..hopefully those. xd Sometimes there's things so dark about someone that it could send them to jail or the loony bin or something.. I want to avoid that. ninja

Ashram McDuck Intentions are meaningless when things are hidden. I don't believe that at all. There's a difference when something is done out of spite, anger, and bitterness, than when it's done because it's believed to be the best option. Something comfortable and safe when you're scared to go and say something publicly.
I'm not Shouj, so I can't know everything that goes through her head. But I still have my impressions, as well as the knowledge that she's never done anything to make me not trust her, and I believe her when she says she thought it was best, and when she gives her reasons. Reasons I still believe were completely understandable.
