Naota segara Simon smiled, "Don't go on, you'll hurt my feelings," that was followed by a laugh, a short one, but a laugh nontheless. He layed back looking up at the night sky, it was really nice, and he usually never gave a damn anyways. He too wondered how the chapterhouse looked like inside, Tokeru had told him that alot of cash was wasted on it, and that it was really big and stuff. He'd have to move his things later. Looking at the huntress, the hunter asked. "So, what's your story?" Edith chortled for a short while, the guy did know how to apply humour to situations. She found that she could almost always relate to homour since she loved laughing so much herself. "Aw," she said in one of those babying tones, "muffin."
She then noticed his laying back and looking up into the night sky. "Nice night, huh?" Edith was smiling again, but her grin soon faded as she noticed his tender jugular and how easy it would be to sink right into it... Damn, she needed to get some blood pretty quickly. Especially since she had not drank yet nor was she near experienced enough to continue holding back her urges that grew stronger every time she got them.
Wow, he had really taken the words about to spew from her mouth. She was usually the one whom ended up asking that question. But it was fine by her that someone else had actually had the initiative to take up the question besides her. She smiled, shrugging, "Nothing too special, just a bunch of droning crap that would take hours to explain and likely lesser your opinion of me. You?"
If Simon ended up actually pushing to hear her story, she would not avoid it nor argue. However, she did not feel like explaining everything, especially ex's, there were too many of those hanging around... Talking about her ex's never had or would be a strong conversation topic for her, she was just too sensitive.
As Tokeru walked up, she wondered if he had received her little message about applying in his organized group. When Hope spoke to them, Edith lightly nodded and greeted with her deep and rich voice, "Ello Hope. Pleasure is all mine." She did not bother extending her hand, for something about the girl told her that shaking hands would be an alien concept to her.

red_moon_wolfess Finn shook her head weakly in defiance at Zzeill, not enough to actualy throw her hand away as before. Rather this was more like her last bit of defiance to offer, much like a teenager weakly batting their door after a sudden tantrum. She was obviously tired, verry sleepy and in no mood to fight after hitting her head like that. Especaly when it was obvious it was just a waist of energy now. She alowed her head to rest on Zzeill's lap for the time being as she slowly closed her eyes, shakeing her head every now and then just to get the message across that 'I don't forgive him, but I'm too tired to fight back now' in the mourning she would probably forget the whole deal anyway. When Finn shook her wolven head she would move her hand away a little untill she stopped. Then she would place her hand softly on her fur again and stroke it softly, releived that she had finally calmed down, or at least stopped running around. She moved Finns head onto her lap, making it comfortable for her to rest. Zzeill smiled at Finn as she threw her head as she tried to tell her no. Looking up she tried to make eye contact with Ein to get him to come over and sheath his weapon. Still petting Finns head, making the fur on top of her head soft, she spoke in a calm voice. "Its okay Finn. I hope tomorrow you'll be more willing to speak to us. You really need to have more friends and less enemies."She said with a slight laugh toward the end.

Simon smiled, Edith was a cool person to speak with. Humour wasn't a bad thing in her opinion, and Simon liked that a lot. Most people were far too serious, or "grown-up" to joke around with. And that... was no good.
"Yeah, it is," Simon nodded, still looking up at the sky. His grin was still there pasted on his face, completely oblivious to the fact that Edith (the vampire) was blood hungry, which would probably freak him out if he were to catch her looking at his neck or something. "I'm never really look at the sky anymore."
He listened to her as she answered his question. He knew, for sure, that she left alot out. Personally, Simon would say that she left everything out. Everyone who for some reason became a hunter usually had some crazy story to tell about it. C'mon, no one (who was normal) woke up one morning knowing about the nightwalkers, and decided to be a hunter. But, if she didn't feel like telling him, Simon would have to respect that.
"Well, I'm a orphan. That's first. Being a bit more correct on the issue, I'm a b*****d, and became one at twelve. They were shot by a guy who broke into our house in Brooklyn, and there wasn't a funeral, atleast not one we were allowed to go too. Their faces weren't exactly intact." His voice saddened a bit as he spoke, more ashamed of himself. How could he talk about that without crying. "I suppose these things happen."
Simon waved at Tokeru and his sister as they walked up. "What's up?"

Tokeru smiled. "Savage wanted me to come back, he wasn't done with you yet."
Savage lept onto Simon once again, and started licking Simon to death.
Hope looked bewildered, then started laughing, and so did Tokeru.

Elke's arms stretched to the sky as she emitted a long strange yawn that was more like a baby dragon trying to speak. She let her arms drop heavily to her side, swallowing while her eyes searched the park. Personally, she didn't think the park would be any safer than the city. Her eyes were drawn to the murky-looking lake and she scowled. "I've declared a vendetta upon that lake. Someday we shall duel." Because stabbing a lake will do something, right? Idiot.

"Quite serious." Elke stepped closer to the lake, pointing a finger at it while she threatened. "You got it coming to ya, babe. Watch out." She turned back to Danny and Josiah, smirking. She'd conquer the thing some day. Or it'll conquer you. Watch you drown, kid.

"Nope. Nope. I'll take this girl on my own. And I'll be easily defeated. It's all up here." Elke points to her head, her voice calm and serious. Oh. Have you learned something from me? Impressive. She sighed, almost imagining herself taking a shot at the mass of water.

"My kind aren't cured.." Elke mumbled, even though that's not what she was talking about. "But. As in girl, I mean the lake. And as in me mind, I mean me strategy. Which is I'll tackle the thing and drown. Nice, yes?" Her feet shuffled in the short sweet grass, smiling innocently.

Edith slowly found her way onto her back, then she slowly came up again. She was inconsistent and sometimes she would only bend back halfway and come back up. However, if you were observant, you would see that she was doing three sit-ups followed by two crunches then another three sit-ups. Training always seemed to soothe her despite the physical labor of it all, that or she would go to church, pray for a few people listen to the boring mass though she had literally been trained to sit completely still through it all without a single word.
Her family was a bunch of religious fanatics. Hell, she felt really terrible for Simon. At least her parents had raised her and they were still safe as could be. They were old and thriving, her father could take the world record for fastest babbler alive. And her mother, well, aren’t all mothers just naturally worry warts? Well, if someone knew Mrs. Jackson, they would dub her the mother of all worrywarts.
Even if her parents could be the most annoying parents on the face of the earth, Edith still loved them and knew they were only trying to protect her. Just like William… Poor Simon did not have anyone as he had been growing up and it killed Edith to know that she had literally thrown away her normal life, her parent’s protection. She had given it all up to go live on the streets. Likely where Simon had been forced to live.
“I’m,” she said to him before Savage pounced on the shadowstalker, “so sorry…” She had been moving to embrace him but thank God the tiger had managed to beat her to him. God, she was much too emotional lately. Maybe female vampires still had hormonal sways? Well, they could still be depressed so why could they not have random hormonal sways?
When Edith had priorities she needed to tend to, she normally would tell people that she was going to go off and ‘take care of business’. However, since her priority was to get some friggin’ blood before she tore open Simon’s, Tokeru’s, Hope’s, or Savage’s throats, she did not exactly feel like explaining where she was going. Therefore she did not inform them that she was leaving and simply left since the tiger was busy distracting them all anyway.
If they needed to contact her, they could simply use the HIN system and she would be there in a flash if there happened to be a random a crisis. Crisis’ that managed to be quite common among the Hunter community. And if they wanted to know where she was, she would simply tell them that she was paying Haven a last visit before she moved in with the shadowstalkers. After all she still needed to pick up Mids and her suitcase that she had absolutely no idea what she had done with.
The vampiress’ leave was not dramatic as it drew no attention. It was not like they were going to give a damn if she left. Besides, she had grown up on the street where it had never mattered if people were told where you were going. Perhaps Edith was too independent for her own good, but that was her problem that she would possibly have to someday deal with. But for now, she would just leave.
(( Exit to Haven ))

Well, there's got to be a better strategy than that...like evaporation... says Danny, slightly nodding to his son.

Saylis Skye M. Vibrissa ((lol, sorry, i didn't realize you even posted.)) kreigor winced at the wound in his leg but it didn't slow him down a bit. he leaned back to avoid the approaching blade and stabbed his wrist blade into the ground. he spun his leg around in an atempt to bring her down and slashed up towards her in case he missed the kick.((Is okay)) Oh, please. Saylis smirked and flipped over his leg, her feet kicked away the wrist blade, and his hand, her own blades still in her hands. The second wrist blade came toward her, it hit her side drawing more blood. kreigor planted his toe into the dirt and flicked up, propelling his other foot up to her chest. he pushed off and flipped up onto his feet, skidding a few feet backwards. "your move" he said calmly as he licked the blood from his blade.
