I don't usually.. say s**t when there's drama about, I tend to hide in the corner and wait for everyone else to work it out. But this is on a completely different level, and even if I don't say anything.. I have to at least recognize it with a post.

For me, this came completely out of left field. I hadn't noticed any undercurrent of discontent or long-standing tensions like Kin claims, yeah, now and again someone said something that another person took badly, and there was a bit of a clash for a few posts -- in this case, Azure and Stream. But that's ALL I thought it was.. another misunderstanding, another little nick in the friendly flow of the chat.

And then Aki posts a single emoticon and everything goes to hell. I'm not saying that's the cause of it, obviously, but it seems like we've had this sort of thing happen before, and it was able to be dusted under the carpet. We passed over the little clashes. Now, we recognize it.. and there are people on the edge of leaving left and right, bitching at each other, arguing about our arguments about the argument.

I guess it's just because of my personality. I try to avoid conflict. When it shows up blatantly like this, I wait. Just don't comment and let it pass over. I wish we, as a guild, could take that route.. when there's a little clash.. when someone says something that bothers you.. well, just ignore it. If the alternative is pointing it out and increasing the tension and making everyone feel worse, then just.. don't.

But I know Stream wouldn't take that. Nor Shouj, nor Spider. You're all much more action-driven than I am. You stand up when you feel someone's slighted you, or when you're stuck in a generalization, or.. whatever. It's not how you are to not say something because it might cause conflict. But it is for me, usually. I guess that's why I can't really figure this out. I don't see why it's necessary.. I don't see why it had to be dragged out into the open..

But I do, really. I'm just rambling because I want someone to agree and I want everyone to stop fighting.. ********. I know you have to have your voices heard. Just.. keep. Keep doing whatever you have to do. I'll hide in the corner and wait for you to work it out. That's all.

@Ashram: I've always known how to push back. It was just a matter of getting pushed too far, before I finally decided to push back.

I feel a little bad, because one of the supervisors has only been a supervisor for about a month (she was a case manager before...totally different relationship with the clients AND the staff), but when she accepted the supervisor position, she accepted the responsibilities, too.

And neither of them, or the site director (which is a whole other issue), are doing what they're supposed to do. And it amuses me greatly that they can't figure out why people don't want to work extra shifts, or why we have such a high employee turnover rate. Or even why there is such a high rate of employee unsatisfaction.

So, I've been keeping kind of quiet too... I really don't know what to say. I just want to tell everyone I'm sorry since I know I'm partially responsible.
This place is the only reason why I came back to Gaia and why I'm still here. You all have helped me, and I love you guys for it.
I never meant anyone here harm.

I'm sorry if I came off as vilifying all males, that was never my intention. I certainly don't feel that way towards the males here, or all males in general. I complain about certain guys in my life, just as I do about certain girls. And I'm sorry to have offended some of you by it. I've apologized many times, so I don't know what else I can do.
