teh CB RaeRae Rave ... *hides her nose stud* emo I like nose studs that look very subtle, but not huge nose rings. I could never pull off the stud, though XD; I muchly prefer studs over rings when it comes to the nose (on the lip, I way prefer rings). With my face though, I kind of need a noticeable stud. I've got so much baby fat... sweatdrop Anything small looks ridiculous.

RaeRae Rave LunaInverse Great Tattooist Oni So. Katrina convinced me to get my tongue pierced (it took little convincing). She is turned on by the idea that I did it. Now the thing is that I don't get what girls find hot about guys with tongue piercings? I know very well what guys find hot about girls with them, but until she comes to visit next month, I have no idea what the attraction is. rofl Personally, I don't get why girls like guys with pierced tongues, either. But if that's what turns them on, more power to them. I think the piercing would just get in the way. That sweet tang of metal when I kiss someone? Yuck. I don't really get it either. I think that they can look cool and all, but I'd just hate it if someone I was dating had/got one, I think.Yeah, me too! xd My friends at school were trying to set me up with this guy, and then we all realized he had a tongue piercing (and smoked). It was just "Ahhh... how about someone else?" I don't really like piercings, except the ears and nose studs on girls.

I'm generally not a tongue ring fan.Jeez, what is it with guys with tongue rings and smoking? xp Lung cancer, emphysema, brain cancer and dying when you're in your 50s but looking like you're in your 80s is soooo sexy.

Dr. Fomite I've heard people say that they make kissing interesting... sweatdrop
But...yeah. Going to have to add my name to the list of people to whom the ring is no turn on. I'd say it'd be a turn off, if anything. I guess I could get used to one eventually, but in my experience I've found that when I talk to somebody who has a tongue ring, I keep getting distracted as my eye is caught by the shiny piece of metal. Then I realize how much I really don't like looking in a person's open mouth as they talk. sweatdrop No good.
Then again, I'm not a big fan of piercings in general, aside from those on the ears, for rather the same reason. Nose rings bother me more than most. They keep catching my eye and making me think the person has something stuck to their face. >>; xd Now that's going to bother me too... gonk You have a cool avi! heart

Dr. Fomite RaeRae Rave I think smoking is the only thing that would make me turn down a guy no matter how great he is. Won't get into reasoning though... don't mean to offend any of you who smoke... sweatdrop I'm with you, hon'. Smoking would be one of my two absolute dealbreakers, no matter how much he fit the Mr. Right profile otherwise. gonk
... I've got a lot of backlogging to do once I get around to it. sweatdrop *wonders what the other is so she can make sure not to do it*

Shoujo Phoenix Tongue piercings...bleh. Marni's sister's friend had one...and swallowed it. Like Mala, I'm no fan of piercings other than on the ears. Smoking would definitely be a deal-breaker too. Marni used to smoke before me...so I'm very pleased that she did quit. Bleh. Me too! I don't think I'd come over as much. I'm never kissing someone who just smoked. Actually, the only situation this came up in was with you guys gonk Stupid a*****e loser!!!

Suyo Zero Omega You compare GH to a Hasbro game? A Hasbro game would give you two buttons and a 1/16th beat, nothing more. Rock Band aims toward a more casual audience? GH caters to a more casual audience, wanna know why? That pick up and play ability, you don't have to be some kind of guitar god to play it, you pick up the guitar, set your game up, and play. Why do you think it does so well? Because the casual gamer can play it with no problems, s'what makes DDR so successful. Not to bash Rock Band or anything, but it appeals to a more hardcore audience, why else would every other instrument be added and cost a lot more than GH? Because it caters to a more hardcore audience than GH does. Sure GH does what it does well, but what is it actually doing? It's playable as hell but very shallow. Not worth the price of admission and not a "good" game. I still have fun playing it, but I would never buy it, nor would I ever score it high if I were giving it a review because I think it's incredibly shallow and the gameplay lacks staying power. I use a Hasbro game analogy due to the one trick pony nature of GH's gameplay, just like the Hasbro games which have you doing the same thing over and over for little to no reward. GH just adds songs. Edit: Also I am playing that goddamn Killers song that is on both and they rip off Bizarre Love Triangle really hard. Oh yeah and as far as Rock Band goes, it screams casual. Casually expensive, but still. If it were aiming for a hardcore audience, then it would score you less forgivingly and more uniformly, wouldn't offer so many options, and would be competitive rather than cooperative. It's the world's biggest and best party game, and it appeals to casual rhythm game players but adds some depth to the equation in terms of like how you go about doing the songs and the world tour mode is such an awesome idea. But it cripples itself with a god awful set list, that's also just very short. It's the same idea as Guitar Hero, pick up and play instant rock god magic, and instead of intensifying the gameplay to add depth, it just adds more instruments, the idea of making a cooperative band with your friends, and the brilliant world tour. Wait... what?!? Guitar Hero lacks staying power? I suppose that's why people are still playing ALL THREE of them. The vast levels of difficulty between the easiest and hardest settings as well as the well thought-out scalability between each of the settings means that you'll be hard pressed to find someone who can honestly find it too easy or too hard. Add to that the wide selection of songs, variety of musical genres, and nice balance between favorites and less wildly popular songs (with a few new and unknown tunes on each game) and you've got something damn hard to get really bored of. Guitar hero just adds songs? WTF? I suppose that if you look at the first game you'll find encores, boss battles, and two player cooperative play. Oh, wait... you won't, since encores and co-op were GH2 and bosses were GH3. And while the new outfits and guitarists are indeed merely eye-candy, they do indeed constitute new content. Lastly, please tell me exactly how a game that can be bought for $70 and played to its fullest with one player or even two is somehow less casual than a game costing more than twice that and requiring 4 players. And having only slightly more songs in the whole game than GH has per stage is far more of a hit than you're making it out to be. Like or dislike either game all you want, Suyo, but your rationalizing is incredibly flawed. Part of the problem might be that you clearly seem to equate you not liking GH to it being shallow and bad.

Skizzors ..there are tongue RINGS? gonk Yes, but generally the term is used to refer to studs, much in the same way people also refer to stud piercings in the ear as earrings.
