Oh yeah ...

I'll totally have my own copy of SRW:OGG tomorrow. (which is going to be a looooooooong two days) *HINT - Not a typo*

Nice.

Hopefully you understand enough moonrunes to get the story.

Didn't stop me from enjoying the hell out of the OGs release. Limited knowledge of moonrunes is limited.

I think I'm pretty much the only one in the AG who understood you the first time around, but I'm uniquely placed in the matter. ninja

Just don't get your hopes up on Scully, she's got her sights set on stealing Katrina from me.

I don't recall any comments concerning that when you and your lady friend came up in our discussion. Just a "really weird" account of their first communications.

I'm surprised any of that came up in conversation really. The whole thing was really weird. Apparently Katrina knows some Hawaiian, including what seemed to be a lullabye.

Scully gave me a Hawaiian version of the Bible last year.
It is made of good times and lots of lulz.
Course, with a name like "DA JESUS BOOK" it has to be good.

Your thoughts on the matter are partially true, but looking back I didn't explain things as clearly as I could.

A little over a year back we let our thoughts known to each other, and it was then that she had told me she had just gotten a boyfriend. (six weeks prior to our talks to be exact) However, ever since then, she hasn't so much as mentioned him in our many communications. That's what I'm not sure to make heads or tails of. xd

And it would have been a little hard to go out with her, considering she's on a island and I'm on a completely different island. :3

No real disappointment, that was dealt with (more or less) a long time ago.

AH, that's what I thought, when I first saw it, Ash!! Either way, it was nice to see her, yeah?

Nice is hardly the word I would choose. :3
Probably the best Christmas present I got.

We just got Nabs' card and a package from Ashram. Thanks guys!

Ash, the chibi figures of Harima and Tenma are awesome... especially the Tenma one. Its incredibly cute. The Harima full size and bald variant are also great, its just that the two chibis are absolutely awesome that has me gushign about them. Thanks a ton. Be warned though: we will find something to send to you, and it will be surprising.

Nabs' card was cute, and Luna had a bit more trouble reading your writing than I did... which amused me greatly.

I knew you'd like the chibi figs the best, twas why I got both of them for you. Let me know if you're interested in the rest of the set.

Though I feel I didn't quite get the right gift for Luna, but then again I had no idea what to look for. xd

So, my flight back to Japan was 13 1/2 hours by itself (I also had a one hour flight from San Antonio to Houston with a one hour layover) and I got in at 3:25 and left the airport around 4:20. The train ride from Narita to Shinjuku is Llllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggg (close to two hours). I was originally going to stay a night in Tokyo, but I decided just to spend 2 1/2 more hours getting home. I got in at about 9:40 last night, called my parents, and went straight to sleep. Only woke up once, which was nice. Still a little tired, but that's probably due to HUNGER.

What other figures are in that set? I'm guessing there's probably a Yakumo, Eri, and Suou at the very least.

I might look into the restrictions and shipping on something like maple syrup, since I can see about getting some from my cousins' farm up in Canada... I'm pretty sure that since it is processed and sealed there wouldn't be a huge problem with it... just pricey since it is a bit heavy. I'm guessing you might like something like that.

Yeah. both times I went was like that...long flights...long travel in general.

It's fun time-traveling though lol. Especially coming to US from Japan.

Maple syrup, eh?

That makes me think PANCAKES. Which is good.

Let's see, the rest of the chibi set (come to think of it - there's at least two sets, maybe three) includes Tenma in her basketball get-up, two Yakimos (which I have - one with her holding delicious cake and another of her in a flight attendant outfit with a tiny Sara in her nun clothes), Suou, Eri, Karen ... I want to say Akira ... and I think there's one of Hanai and Karasuma.

As it should... Pancakes are win. When you've got good real syrup you can also use a tiny bit to sweeten tea (like you would with honey) or warm a little in a bowl and eat it by dipping bits of fresh bread into it. Hell, you can even put a little on shaved ice or clean snow and munch it that way. Another nice use that a lot of people don't know is to toss some fresh cut fruit in a little syrup and a dash of citrus juice.

Plus, you can use it to floor any guests you have since I'm guessing not many Japanese have had real maple syrup.

If you ever get the chance to see or participate in sugaring, I highly recommend it to anyone. It is an art that is steadily being lost to more modern methods of production, and an incredible experience.

Sweet deal! They sound goddamn awesome! If I get picked up permanently at the Dept of Public Health, I'll definitely have to wire you some filthy lucre.

The Japanese are quite keen on the idea of pancakes and waffles, so I would be a little surprised if they'd never experienced maple syrup. Now, maple syrup made the good, old-fashioned way ... I can't rightly say.

The chibi figurines aren't very expensive, I'd say about $3.50 a piece unless you get lucky and find them all together for a reduced price. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

On that note ... I wonder if Zely and Kin received their packages ...
And further on that note ... I'm still available for anyone here to find awesome stuff.
And on one more on that note ... Skizz, were you able to get your Enki?

And on a completely different, SRW related note - King J-Der is quickly becoming one of my favorite units to use in any SRW game. The man (and his co-pilots) is a wrecking MACHINE. (and a TANK to boot)

I've been considering letting the powers that be know that I'm willing to make the switch from "Helper-leftover" ModAss to advancement track ModAss.

The only problem I see is that then I have to worry about being pulled away from the AMC and given duties quite possibly in one of the forums I would never ever want to set foot in,l whether as a user or as a mod.

So.. I have a twin size bed. My friend came over for a sleepover. Dad said we cannot both sleep in said bed (even facing opposite directions) because it is TOO GAY.

Is this.. normal parent behavior? sweatdrop
