Violent Ultimatum Inebriated: ...The costume is wicked. Where abouts in Toronto were you guys as well? I didn't see a lot of the city since I was around the Convention Center for two and a half days for Anime North. Who, my ugly mug or the dude above the CD racks(Who btw, is just a gorilla suit with some grim reaper flair. Nobody under there!)? We were about Bloor street, parts of Queen and Bathurst too.. If you saw a kid with nasty matted hair wearing a Sonata Arctica shirt and a lady who looked like her minus the band shirt, you saw me. PS you and your lady friend are adorable.

VU - Thanks, but I got a call today saying that I didn't get the job. confused They said I did everything right and answered all their questions very etc. The reason why they didn't choose me was... they wanted someone with more experience in customer service. And I mean B-to-B customer service (Business to Business). And I have none of that. confused Fun. If I don't get any job for the summer, I'll be almost broke when I have to go back to school in the autumn. I've been feeling kinda down all day, because of this news. sad
Anyway, did your girlfriend make that costume herself? It looks really nice! What character was she cosplaying? I haven't watched much anime in years. D:

*facepalm*
Again with this. I sincerely hope that's just false modesty on your part.
@VU - thanks for the site, looks like there's a bunch of appealing stuff on there. Even H.R. Giger merch! Great pics too.

I've heard Industrialshirts.com is pretty unreliable when it comes to orders, some take like five to six months others are real quick. They always come, but some take forever, that pretty much why I've never ordered any from there.

Really? Well, good thing you told me before I considered ordering anything. Of course, I'm not sure if I would've even ordered anything to begin with. TBQH, I've kinda grown out of the "band t-shirt and jeans" stage of my wardrobe.

Its mainly just one guy running the whole thing, so its kind of understandable, but at the same time not really.
But yeah, I've never been into wearing band t-shirts and jeans, but I wear them occasionally.

Shadowlit Facade Thaaaaaaaaat's the one. I remember you now. Welcome back! 3nodding Yeah, I recognize that name too. Edit: Wow. This got me checking the guild membership to see how early he joined, and I noticed something shocking. I've actually been in here longer than kas or mana! That surprised me.

Kas was promoted quicky because she started moderating even before I promoted her. She always had ideas and participated in the guild events. The MR calender, Metal Crossword, and guild forum recruiting were always 100% her ideas and she ran them herself.
Kas knows how to move up the latter and she has NEVER, EVER made me regret promoting her. MR has survived this last year because of her and her work and I appreciate her.

Indeed. Promotions aren't given to those who have been here a long time but rather those who deserve it the most.
And don't worry Volvy, we know thats not what you were trying to say.

LOL! Yeah, kas has done 1000 times the job I would have.
I just mentioned it because I was genuinely surprised to see it. I was sure she'd been around here longer than me.

I promoted two members based on work ethic alone, Kas being one of them. The others were because I felt overwhelmed or because I just plain old liked the person and felt they would make a good crew, a crew of "friends."

I think I pretty much got promoted because I've been here since the beginning and I've been non-stop active(accept when you count my computer failures), and thats work all on its own.
I'm also a friend of Hollows.

I think I've not been promoted because I've never done anything that would give Hollow a reason to promote me.
What brought promotions up, though? I just thought it was odd, since I thought I remembered her being around already when I joined.
