Melody thanked Basili for the offer of protecting her, it seems Basili had been doing a lot of that recently and Melody was very grateful
As Curtis gave his demonstration Melody began to wonder what type of magic she had since she relied souly on her music to use magic, she didn't want to interrupt the class so she didn't ask Curtis this

Ai, glad she made it on time, nodded as she attentively listened to the teacher's explanation on the elements. She looked down at her own hands, she had control over only one of the elements the professor had mentioned which obviously was water. A slight trickling sound could be head as water appeared from seemingly nowhere underneath Ai's sleeves and trailed down to pool in her hands. Smiling, Ai looked up just in time to see Curtis create a living being out of clay and enthusiastically clapped, thoroughly impressed at the display.
When the teacher asked if anyone had any questions, Ai remembered something. "Might i ask for your name?" She said, trying to be polite.

Professor Curtis Balfour Curtis smiled to the girl that asked for his name, "I am terribly sorry everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I am professor Curtis Balfour, I am the new magic teacher of this very refined school. Now let me introduce you all to your real first lesson." He held his palm up and the little doll kept walking in his palm, trying to find a way down. "As I mention, there are two sides to the four elements. There is the calm side that creates, then there is the aggitated side that destroys." To make his point, Curtis smashed the doll with his other hand. When he lifted his hand, the four orbs reappeared stacked on top of each other, "The four elements that dstroyed are known as the aggitated state. We see these elements at work, but in a larger scale. Volcanos, earthquakes, tornados, sunamis are all aggitated elements at their worst. And the main thing about aggitated elements to mages is that they cannot fuse with one another. If they were to be forced," Curtis glanced at the box, "Terrible things happens." Curtis raised his hand and his infamous book appeared, chains and all, "This book is a forbidden text that was given to me by an old friend. Within it was said to be a way to fuse aggitated elements in order to obtain a limitless power. Unfortunately, I've succeeded. Now, I am going to helpyou learn that there is nothing more powerful than calm elements compared to aggitated." Curtis walked to the box. before he touched it he turned his head, "You all might want to step back."

Melody listened carefully to what Curtis was saying but the idea of destructive magic didn't appeal to her, when he suggested everyone step back she took a further step back putting her against the wall.
(Not sure what your getting at with aggitated elements can't be mixed are you say I can use lighting and fire together destructively? )

Basili smiled at Melody, but her attention shifted to the pink haired girl as she entered the room. She was cute to, and had an air of elegance about her. "damn this school has to many cute girls to choose from, I'll die of old age before I'll be able to choose just one" she thought with a mental squeal. She knew that there would be plenty of canidates at the school, but she didn't know that that would actually be HINDERANCE to her. She shook her head and tried to focus on the teacher's lesson. It was a bit fascinating, as it wasn't how the snake demons taught magic at all, though that might explain why most snake demons only ever obtained the powers they were born with. Basili had never tried any type of elemental magic, but she had no reason to believe she couldn't do it. After all she was royalty, if anyone could do it it was her.

Camory chuckled nervously at the idea of there being a worse punishment. "ehehehehehe...ofcourse, thank you for the warning dear. If anyone askes I tripped and fell into the door" he said, half jokingly, half trying to appease her. He returned her 'really' face with an innocent shrug. w-well I mean I think it would be worth it. I mean you really are beautiful Oli. I mean I won't peek intentionally anymore, but if I happen to see anything on accident I will accept my punishment gladly" he said before pausing. "I should just shut up shouldn't I? are you hungry? want something to snack on?" he offered, trying to change the subject, after all he was in the kitchen anyways.
"....wait..... this recipe's in metric!.....oh crap. Olivia! Help!"

She blushed a bit when he called her beautiful. "Why thank you." she said walking up to him. Although the kitchen was his domain she walked towards him and pulling down her mask and gave him a small peck on his lips. "Alright then." she said nodding to his question of a small snack. "Something healthy?" she asked as she leaned on the counter.

Penelope gave a sigh and began to just look around. "Not much fun." she said looking at Elora who was sleeping on her lap. Magic class for her was a bit more different at home then here. She began to day dream about how she would become taller and look the way she is suppose to.

Professor Curtis Balfour Curtis looked at the box and held out his hand. The chains broke and faded like mist. The front of the box began to make a large door. It slowly opened into a dark interior. The only thing that fell out was a large rib cage with a flamming, beating heart within. The ribcage was also tied upin chains. Curtis walked around it and stood next to the chained thing, "When tryig to mix aggitated elements together, mainly the four originals, one of two things will happen. One, you might get a large blast, but nothing will mix. Or two, you make something known as an elemental Meta. It is a creature that is a burden to all mages who attemot such a arte. What you see here is the result of my ignorance," The chained rib cage began to jerk around, trying to loosen its chains, "The heart you see there is some what of a bonding agent. It is one of the main ways with forcibly fusing aggitated weapons." Curtis stood in front of it, facing his class, "Now the main reason I have you all here in Miss Ahanna's survival jungle classroom is because I am going to be releasing this monstrosity. Do not panic now, it is all in the name of the lesson and you better get used to seeing strange, lethal things. There are more outside of this school." Curtis summoned up more orbs, "Now here is the lesson, You all may work together or alone, but you need to use the ower of calm elements to subdue it. Now, for those of you who can't use magic yet, I will be spreading these elamental orbs all over this room, find them and try to use them to either defend or attack it straight on. Use your heads, try to imagine the result of fusing different elements. And also, if you find an orb, you don't have to use it immediately, find another and fuse those two for a more interesting effect, be creative. Oh, and stay alive." Curtis pointed his hand at the chained ribs and the bonds broke. The beast roared at it's freedom. From where the left arm would be, water began to collect and expand, forming a watery arm. The water froze, turning it into an icicle claw. Its right arm expanded fom earth, making it a mucular dirt and stone arm with a permenant fist. Its lower half formed from wind. it was lie a giant snake tail made from a biological tornado. Then the head, bone fragments began to form, making a skull. The eyes glowed and the skull bursted into flames. The meta roared again and tried to lunge, but was held back be a magic leash made by Cyrtis. He held his hand in the air and a large orb shot out to the air. Multi colored, smaller orbs of the elements shot from the large orb and spread out throught the class jungle. Curtis held on to the restraint, "Just let me know you are ready by running out. A few minute head start should be fair. Down!" He ordred as he yanked the restraint. This might either be fun or gruesome.

Fear had gripped Melody as she looked at the monstrosity and when the teacher said that he would be releasing the creature she almost screamed.
Melody began shaking in fear and could barely move as she just continued to look at the creature.

Basili instinctively wrapped an arm around Melody as the teacher released the creature and its body began to form. "I'm not sure if that thing is scarier than that thing we met in the forest or not, but I hope it isn't as strong" she thought a bit grimly. She glanced at Melody and felt her shaking in her arms. She hugged the girl close and whispered in her ear. "its allright. I'm here, right beside you. I'll protect you no matter what ok? so don't be afraid my little snake charmer" she said hugging her tight and giving her an assuring kiss on the forehead.

Camory blushed as Olivia pulled down her mask and kissed him. "d-don't mention it" he stammered, still not used to being able to kiss her. last night had been a bit different since he had essentially said screw it and turned off his brain, letting emotion take over. He stood there frozen for a bit, a big dumb grin on his face. when she asked for something healthy he snapped out of it and smiled. "ofcourse, anything for you" he said walking over to the fridge and cabinets. In a few minutes he had celery, raisins, and peanut butter out and he began assembling them together. "kind of basic, but hey its like being in scouts all over again right?" he said with a chuckle, never having actually been in scouts himself. He smiled and handed a stick to her. "I hope its not to disappointing" he said sheepishly, not really liking that he made something so simple, because he thought she deserved alot better than that, even if it was just a snack.

She gave out a small laugh as she watch him get a bit spacey from the sudden kiss. She wasn't much use to it yet, but she figured she won't be use to it unless she starts trying. She watched as he prepared the basic healthy snack ever made by little kids. It looked adorable and good. "Thank, Camory." she said as she went and picked one up began eating it. She took her time since she liked to eat a bit slow. When she was done she placed the small snack plate in the sink and wondered what she should do next.

Penelope snapped out of her daydream and met the eyes of a monster. She froze up in fear. Unable to move from the stump she was sitting on. Elora woke up from loud sounds and turned around to see a vicious beast in front of them and other students. Penelope began trembling. It be hard for someone her size to look for orbs in a underground indoor forest. And then having the fear of large things wasn't helping her either. Her eyes wide and her heart pounding in her chest with a fear. "Big...sis..." she managed to whimper as everyone began giving distance and Elora manage to get Penelope to move and away from it before it was to come after them.

Ai yelped and leapt back as the meta rolled out and formed its body out of the elements. She knew classes in this school were a bit more "hands on" than others but this was one of those cases were it was freaking crazy.
Listening to Curtis, Ai stared at the meta and almost instantly began analysing visually it to build a strategy on defeating it with her powers. So far she'd only developed two observations. Its head is a flaming skull, douse it with water, i can do that. Arm of ice, melt it with fire....don't have that unless explosives count. All while trying not to get killed..........fun. Ai looked around at the other students, it was rather obvious teaming up would be good. Then it dawned on her that the only person she knew properly there was Tosen who could use air. The rest she hardly knew them or their powers so Ai just stepped back a few paces to distance herself from the meta and waited to see if anyone was interested in teaming up so that she didn't have to speak first.

Melody looked as Basili who was now comforting her "I have to be brave this time, no running away" She told her self as she swallowed her fear but still nervously took out her flute she wasn't sure if her songs would work as the monster in the woods didn't seem effected by her flute
"What if I help the others?" Melody thought as she began to play
"Fiery Ballad"
Suddenly all the other students felt a warmth in them as they were enchanted with flames and could now add fire element to their attacks

Luscious Gregory Um... MorePlease  Luscious stared at the beast with very calm eyes. Luscious hadn't moved an inch since the teacher produced the orbs. To him, those orbs could unlock another level for him, Earth. He would ask the teacher about that later, but right now... He was more preoccupied with the meta. Thinking strategically, he only had to counteract one element. Looking for the most unstable and easily accessible to him, it would be the wind. He undid his scarf and put it around his neck covering his nose and mouth. His hair laid to his side. He wasn't going to run he was going to stay right where he was. "Well, I'm ready when you are" Luscious said, tossing a reassuring smile at the little pink haired girl.

Professor Curtis Balfour Curtis yanked the chain again. The meta kept swinging its arms at the children which were out of reach for it, "Well, this is the result of fusing aggitated elements. But, there is no problem when it comes to fusing calm elements with aggitated ones, keep that in mind." Curtis pulled one more time, "Find the orbs to subdue it, or use what you can yourself, but be warned, attacking head on might not be your best option. Begin" Curtis released the leash and the restraint faded off of the beast. It roared at the children as it felt good to be able to feed on life. It lunged at the group of children, its head burning with excitment, its ice claw and earth fist ready to slice and crush, and its whirlwind tail moving it around like a snake.
