Mordranna then brought the Prinny Hawk alongside the Sundered Rose on the landing pad, exiting the freighter. "This is a pretty nice planet," she commented to Angel. "Your brother has picked a fine place to get married."

((I'm starting to think we're going to need to NPC some people.)) In his quarters aboard the Heroine's Assault, Cale took a pull from his ever present flask and finished assembling his Custom DL-18. With the tightening of the final screw, he heard a faint groan from behind him.
"Convenient." He said as he loaded the weapon. "This was the best time for you to come around." He glanced over his shoulder to look upon Rain, bound to a chair and berift of her helmet. Cale twirled the armed blaster and holstered it, before favoring Rain with a grin.
"You back-stabbing little Jactna!" He suddenly barked at her, his voice raised to a frightening volume. "You thought you could get away with Mutany?! While I was rotting in a cell in Drako's Dungeon?! After all that Ive done for you?!" His tone dropped to a darkly low volume. "There's only one punishment for such a degree of mutiny." Cale slowly drew his vibrocutlass, the blade scrapping against the interiro of the sheath. Rain staired unflinchingly at Cale as he aproached her with the vibro-cutlass.
And with a flick of his wrist he cut the woman's bindings. Both Rain and Cale flicked a glance to the door of the cabin. "I think your eaves droppers have departed, sir." Rain remarked. "As I predicted." Cale said confidently as he sheathed his sword. "Its amazing what a little theatre will do for Moral upon this ship."
"I wonder how many of them actually thought that your little light gun could pierce my armor." Rain stood and brushed her crimson hair over her shoulder. "You just be thankful that I put up with the Osik you put me through. I even took a knock out pill for you." "Oh I am. Though I wish you hadn't have given the Jedi my Light-cutlass." Cale walked over to his cabnet and drew out a bottle and a pair of glasses. "That was supposed to be my Ace in the Hole against those saber-polishers."
Rain shrugged. "Hey, it was the surest way of making sure you didnt kill them when you broke out. Besides, they came asking around for information. We may be criminals, but that doesnt mean we shoot every cop that passes our way. Thats bad buisness." "Spoken like a real outlaw." Cale said as he filled the glasses with the bottle's contents. "Though I do wonder. How long did you plan on waiting before you'd come knocking with the Ackbar's Folley?"
"Not very long." She replied. "We departed about ten minutes after you Becon-called the Phoenix." Cale chuckled. "Well thats good news for me then." He walked over to Rain and offered her a glass of dark red alchohol.
"Besbin Port? You still had some of that left?" Rain remarked as she took the ofefred glass. "Hey, I'm a pretty classy guy. And a Classy guy has to have some classy booze stashed away somewhere, right?"
Rain eyed the wine suspiciously. "Captain, are you attempting to seduce me?" "Whatever gave you that idea?" "Small talk, fine wine, me being tied up in your room, Plus you have that stupid grin on your face." Cale laughed. "You can't blame a guy for trying."
Rain downed the wine in a single swig. "Y'know, its against regulations for officers to develop relationships." "We're Pirates. What Regulations?" She smirked. "My people also frown on dating non-mandos." "How do they feel about one night stands?" Rain laughed. "Captain, I plan on marrying a nice Mando'ad, settling down, and raising a brood of warriors some day." Cale drank his wine. "Not me. I'm gonna keep raising hell across the galaxy until the day I die. I'll leave the settling down thing to my sister."
"You have a sister?!" "Yep." Cale said with a wink. "And she's loaded. Owns the controling stake of Blast-tech." Rain shook her head disbelivingly. "So the reason you're such a bg fan of the DL-18 is?" "What can i say? I got to support the family." "She needs to be supporting you! You're broke half the time!" Cale pshawed that idea with a wave of his hand. "She can keep it. I've been on my own for so long that the idea of being given hand outs makes me want to hurl. Besides, I dont want to ruin her life by getting it tangled up in mine."
Rain smirked at Cale as he filled up his glass with more wine. As Cale downed the glass a second time he became aware that Rain was still watching him. "What?" "You know Captain, I think that I need to get out of this armor." Cale almost dropped his glass. "Say what?" "Well, I have been wearing it an awful lot. The same look day in and day out. It'd be nice to slip out of it for a change."
Cale grinned. "Operations Officer Rain Starwind. Are you proposing that you're going to stand before me in the nude?" "I'm not doing it alone, Captain." She said with a wink. "So what was all that about your people's rules of dating outside their culture?" "Thats dating. The funny thing about my people's culture is that as long as we raise our kids right, we dont care where they come from."
And then the two pirates laughed. They laughed until their sides hurt. And then when they had weezed out the last chuckle, they gazed into each other's eyes. "So we're still going to do it right?" Rain asked. "Like I'd turn this opportunity down." "Tell a soul and I'll gut you like a vrelt." "My lips are sealed. And we can always blame the wine." "I'll lock the door."

(( ha ha ha, you old pirate! XD *laughed like no one's business at your postie!* You've done it again. Wonder if he obtained that wine from Freya's ancestors ... And, alas, it seems all my NPCs are in Legacy ... ^^;; ))
"So, anyway, does your brother need a pianist at his wedding?" Mordranna absently asked Angel, gazing into the early evening sky of Chandrilla.

" I dunno. " Angel said. " But I get a weird feeling about this. I heard him calling out to me through the Force, but only very weakly. I was thinking he was badly hurt or something. Now I find he's apparently living the good life. This doesn't make sense. " " There you are. " a voice came from behind. Looking back, nobody was there. " You made it earlier than expected. " the voice came from ahead this time. Once again, Angel turned to see nobody there. A hand came to Angel's shoulder. " It's been ages, Angel. " Angel turned around again, this time to see a man only a few years older than herself. " Damon? " she asked. The man nodded. " Damon! " The two embraced. " Why couldn't you have done better in leading me to you? " Angel asked. " I had to make sure you were able to get here on your own. " Damon replied.

The fun was over. The Wine was gone and Rain had gone the moment they reached the Stardock to see to things about the Shipyard. Now alone, Cale sat at his desk, stripped to his waist and working the kinks out of his gadgets; his light cutlass, his shades, and his light shield generator, among other tools. Everything had to be in working order for when he faced Solms.
He closed up the circuit panel for his lightshield and glanced over to a scrap of purple silk, the same piece of fabric he had worn around his arm for almost twelve years. He should have been over it. He should have moved on. He had gotten his revenge, tracked down every scumbag involved in her death. But the guilt was still fresh.
He swore he heard her voice on Geonosis. He was sure of it. In his mind, he heard her sing her song. It had helped him fight Prime off. And then she had talked to him, her voice as sweet as the last day he had heard it. And he had told it to shut up. Cale took the scrap of fabric, the same scrap of fabric that she had given him for luck all those years ago, and stared at the wrinkled silk.
He had come close so many times. So many near misses, so many battles, gunfights, duels, brawls, and wars. His life was conflict and violence, eversince he was a boy. He shouldn't have survived any of it. But he did. Some would say the Force was with him. He didnt believe it. Cale wasnt that religious. He didnt think he was at any rate. But now, after hearing her voice again, he began to question himself. Was someone watching over him? keeping him safe from harm? Or was he really just that lucky?
"Maybe it's about time I go home." He muttered softly. "About time I visited her." But first things first. Solms had to be dealt with. Cale slid his shirt on and began to equip himself with his standard array of gadgets and toys, throwing in a few extras for good measure. He slid his jacket on, buckled his blaster holster and sword belt on, and hid a few more weapons on himself. He slid his shades on, and then looked to the piece of fabric, still lying on his desk. "Lets just see how lucky I am." He muttered as he headed for the Hanger.

The Auric Runner set down on Ord Mantell, kicking up clouds of dust as her repulsors lowered her down on the edge of Nikto's Mesa. Cale looked at the controls of the ship, his first real ship. Nothing against the Phoenix, but that was a fighter. And he had more than enough room in his heart for two ships. He was Corellian after all. But if things didn't pan out, if he made his final jump today, he wouldnt see those controls again. "Take care, girl." he said as he affectionately patted the controls. Slipping out of the chair, Cale made his way outside the ship, to face death once more.
Stepping off the ramp and upon the parched rock of the Mesa, Cale gazed across the Mesa. Flat, dead, rock. Nothing pretty about it. Not necessarily the best place to die. "Solms! Get out here Solms! You and I've got unfinished buisness!" Cale called out.

"Kill Drako." Trey suddenly said coldly. Something inside him had stirred, something he tried desperately to shake off. A cold shiver ran down his spine, and he found his hand at the hilt of his lightsaber.

Mordranna looked worriedly to Angel, taken aback by Trey's cold tone. "He must be stopped," she said in partial agreement. Of course, she felt no malice towards the Dark Lord. For us to truly have peace, Drako must be stopped,

" Angel, I have much to tell you, but I would prefer to talk in private. Much of what I need to say is something only you should hear. " Damon said. Turning to the others, Angel asked, " I'll be back later. I guess... enjoy the sights? " she shrugged, turning back to Damon, who led her away.

Mordranna gave Damon a polite bow. "Of course," Looking back to Trey, she then offered, "Let's let them do what they need to. I imagine there is much for them to talk of," she gently said.
