The guys that ignored Gambler didn't know what hit them but there was another man coming to join them that noticed and went to alert the others of an attack. He ran like a bat out of hell but what they didn't know was that she didn't come alone. Now everything went into a full blown brawl. She cut down as many as she could. A man stood in front of her with such a look murder that it made her stop. He had his hands up and began to summon up something. 'A mage!' She thought with shock. She had never thought about facing one off which was why Lech's men was here. "Now die foolish woman." He said. From behind her a arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her back against a hard chest. With the other hand he lifted it and shot out dark orbs hitting the mage in the chest. "I like it that your foolish." Lech whispered in her ear. Gambler shook her head. She whipped out of his embrace and cut down a would-be attacker.

They both worked as a team, like two dancers in the battlefield, with there back to each other. Though they somehow got separated and Gambler looked around. The numbers seemed to go down but there was still fighting. She got jumped from behind and was being attacked by two men at one time. White light came from her hands and blinded them. She touched both there faces and sucked out their souls. Gambler's eyes changed colors from a dark brown to a gold. She signaled the second wave of attackers and they came in charging. She was going to raise so much hell. "For the guys." She vowed. She took her sword and went at even enemy that was present. She got hit a few times but it was ignored. She had to keep moving or else it would be the end of her.

Joker thought about it. "If you say he is poison, perhaps it depends on the poison that is causing this. Of course I am only thinking in a normal doctors point of view." He said, rubbing his chin in deep thought.

Joker without a question was alright with it. "Of course it's fine. That just means I have to step up with the secuirty around my house and I have to bake cookies for the little ones." He said with a small smile. Someone had to be positive in this dark situation. Who better than Joker? "Which ones should I bake? Chocolate chip. peanut butter or sugar?" He muttered.

Raid was outside with Monty. They were gearing things up incase they had to move. Raid couldn't get that scream out of his head. Monty questioned him and he told him. Monty looked up and then had this bad feeling that it was that girl Casper who screamed. Gambler wasn't here to give them orders so he couldn't go and see for himself. He respected Gambler enough to not go against her.

Which was a smart thing to do because she was slowly losing her control in this fight. The rebels, as she's calling them, seemed to have acquired more people because this was more than a few hundred and more than whatever that number of mages was said. This was a fight that both sides seemed to have. Lech used his dark magic to summon the dead up from the graves and used them to attack their enemies. Bank was leading both sides to bring it in. Gambler was waiting for the right time to set off the fireworks.

Raid nodded not looking at her, especially while he was handling more bombs. Monty looked up and nodded as well. "Watch your back out there. That boss threat is still out there." He said.

The little hair's at the back of Gambler's neck stood on end. Something was watching her. She looked up and saw something move quickly in the trees, high up. "Look up!" She shouted. Everyone looked up, some were shot while the rest went to find whatever they could to cover themselves and still try to fight. She went uncovered and fought as much as she could, motioning for the fastest or what could be considered the fastest in the group to go up and try knocking them out the trees and smoke them out. She got out a smoke bomb, took the pin out and threw into up into the tree above her, it exploded and some guys feel down. She let them get up only to put them permenantly down again.

Joker was in the kitchen baking all three cookies. He couldn't decide which one so he did them. He was doing alot of cookies which really only for the children that were coming but a welcome back for Gambler. Hopefully those bratty, glutton Twins didn't eat them all when they come with her.

Monty and Raid went back to work and where back in the shed, putting up more security measures.

Stepping out of the shadows, Dusk pointed to James and Ali. "You two, Talon and I need you and Kai." She looked around, "Where is Kai?" Feeling two arms wrap around her, Dusk felt someone put their head on her shoulder, "Here, Miss Dusk." Grinning, she pet the top of his head. "I need the three of you to save my old mentor, Rave." They all nodded. "Let's go." Again, they were all consumed in shadows.

Dusk and the others were now in front of the house again. She walked and saw Monty and Raid. "Back..." But without saying anything to them, she and the others walked into the room. The smell of the cookies distracted Ali and James, so they met with Joker. Sighing, Dusk grabbed Kai, "Over here, and let them be for now..."

Raising her hand, Ali grinned, "I want it! I want it!" James just looked at the other ones. Sugar wasn't really his fave. Chocolate chip, now those were some good cookies. Ali went into the refrigerator and grabbed the milk, struggling a bit with how heavy it was. James helped her. Both kids put it on the table, but were then lost. "Where are the cups?" Both spoke in unison, as if they were one person.


"Damn..." All of them nodded, "Yeah..." "So...you want me to make sure that she doesn't get hurt?" Talon nodded. "I can do that..." Another look at Rave had all of them shaking their heads. Who knew that someone so strong could get to be so...so weak looking?

Lisan and Ash arrived at part of the battle that had already passed. a few wounded and dead lay about non of which were able to defend them selfs let alone stand to a demon. A wicked grin grew over lisan's face as he grabbed the nearest fallen fighter. he slowly drained the mans soul and dropped the body. he stretched his shoulders and arms gaining strength with every soul he stole. " feed my pet but leave the ones with life for me to take first." the two moved from casualty to casualty slowly working through the aftermath.

"It's not looking good Gambler." Bank said to, fighting his way to say that. Gambler nodded, she agreed too. "Then start pulling back as much men as you can but still fight them guys back. I want them in place for the fireworks." She breathed, blocking a strike. "What the hell are you talking about? Your going to cause massive damage with the fire you start." Gambler struck down her attacker. "Listen. I have my Twins who are explosives experts. Those boys live for fire. I have Lech and his guys to contant it." She explained. "And where will you be?" "I haven't figured that one out but I can tell you I'll be in the heart of the fight when it's show time." She ran off to fight off the remaining mercenaries while the others tried to fight the snipers and assassins that remained. It was a hard fight but slowly, they were getting everyone in the one spot they wanted for the fireworks.

Joker smiled at them. "After that, if your still hungary I can bake you a big cake. I'll have to anyways since the twins ate Gambler's cake." He mumbled looking in the cabinets for the mix.
