She smiled then shook her head. "I know I'm not something evil. But that's why I've got to get that file. If Kingsley won't give me the answers I want, I'll find them myself." she said determined. She continued her pace beside him down the hallway. "Would you like to go outside? Maybe to the lake or the forest?" she asked him sliding her heels back off.

Raven and Draco stood there unknowing of what to say. "Not everyone's going to be your biggest fan, darling. This is one of those times. It's going to take some getting used to for Daniel. You were, eh, rather mean to him before your flip flop to the good side." She said carefully. "You just have to make a point to save him again if the time arises." she said kissing him gently.
Draco slipped his arms around her waist as a tear slid down his cheek. Ever since he'd been branded with the Dark Mark, Draco noticed that he had become soft, and was no longer afraid to cry. "Raven how hard can it be to accept a sincere apology? What if I never get that chance to show him that I'm the real thing?"

Cam nodded. "Alright. I'll help you get that file." he promised. He owed to her at this point. She'd shared with him a crazy important secret, one that wasn't going to leave his mind. She could trust him with it. And he owed it now to help her find out the truth.
"Sure, let's go. It's a bit stuffy in here anyways. Want to, uh, change your shoes first though?" he asked.

She laughed and began to lead the way out of the castle. "I honestly prefer to not wear shoes. I like being barefoot."

Jake pulled the sword/wand out of the tree and back up before slashing the tree just above Anna-Marie's head. True the tree was wide enough to hinder them blind to any curious eyes, but his movements could clearly be shown from the sides. So he had to make it look like he was torturing the Ravenclaw...at least, till he started to get tired. "Because..." He hesitated there. Looking away and giving a heavy sigh, he finally answered. "Because I don't want you to get hurt anymore."

Devin slowly walked out of the infirmary. They had given him one helluva time when he insisted on leaving so he made it his personal job to make their lives even more miserable today than ever in their life. He had succeeded and was promptly kicked out of the Infirmary.
Well...not literally kicked out. Not when Madam Pomfrey had been hexed, upon the moving of his right arm. Now she was left attached the ceiling and totally petrified, just for someone to find.
His entire appeal was disheveled as he found himself in that evil, rebel type of mood. His school uniform under the robes were undone, his tie was undone and hanging from his neck, his shirt was ripped open showing a semi-athletic body, and his robes were kept open as he walked the hall with wand in hand.
Just as before, everyone he passed by was hit with a curse or otherwise. But not with humiliating spells, or the standard spells one would learn during their first year...
No...Devin was casting the Cruciatus curse on multiple people. Then the Imperius curse, only on pairs though. He would cast it on one person, then make that person cast the Cruciatus curse on the other person present.
Devin Williams was normally not a over-achieving dueler. In fact, he seemed to lose more times than not due to the fact that he just couldn't react. But when he wasn't thinking, as such times as when he was pissed off...
Well...this...
At one point, one of the people he was attacking had her cat nearby. The cat had launched an attack on Devin from behind, but somehow Devin saw it coming. He whipped around and grabbed the animal, and promptly snapped/crushed its neck, killing it instantly. He then threw it at one of the girls he was applying the Cruciatus Curse to, before walking away, thoroughly unsatisfied with his work and feeling as if he needed more practice.

Elle walked a long side him trying to appear calm and undisturbed by everything she had heard. But she couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong. Some big secret was going to unfold. As the wind ruffled her hair she thought she heard a hissing whisper and she shivered slightly. She attempted to hide it by crossing her arms and running her fingers through her hair. Finally she had to ask "Cam so who is this dark lord? What's he done? I know it's changed the entire wizarding world."

Anna-Marie ducked moments before he dug the sword of his into the tree above her head. That one she had seen coming, though it was almost at the last notice. That was really annoying. Besides, why damage the tree? It was ancient, probably. Regardless, her attention was drawn back to him. Wait, what? "How does me hating you have anything to do with me getting hurt?" She asked, completely confused as to what he was referring to. She was going to get hurt anymore regardless, her family was held hostage due to her 'gift'. It was all her fault, and that was one way she'd always hurt. .

Jake scoffed slightly and shook his head looking over at her. "It has nothing to do with you hating me. All you have to do is suck it up to the fact that I will be a Death Eater come Halloween. When I am, I'll push the subject of becoming your sole...watcher, or guardian or whatever. In which case you can walk around your proud self all you want, without being pushed or bullied around." It was a simple matter. Of course he didn't understand her side of the story because he thought he was doing her a favor.
Half of his actions were for the reasons he just stated, the other half was entirely unknown to everyone, and he meant to keep it that way.
Of course...Daniel would be crushed when he found out, but one such as Jake must choose the lesser of two evils. Or in this case, the greater of two evils.

Cam stopped to stare at her when she asked her question. He stared as if she had grown a second head that was screwed on backwards.
"You...don't know?" he said. "You...did somebody wipe your memory? Everybody knows about him." he said. "He killed so many people at the height of his power, but then, somehow, he was killed...but now he's back. That's the short version of it."

Elle rolled her eyes and crossed her arms mid stride. "I'm beginning to wonder honestly." she said to him. Then she sort of laughed at herself. "Can you imagine a more hopeless and clueless girl. I have every little possesion and thing I've ever wanted yet I'm so lost I don't even know if my memory has been wiped. That is pathetic."she said to him, stopping to sit in the grass and pick at her nails again.

Cam sat next to her, shrugging. "It's possible. You probably wouldn't know if they were or not." he said. "For example, I doubt you can remember where you got that Mark, right?"

Elle shook her head. "The last thing I remember was the night Hagrid took me to Kingsley's. We met Professor McGonagol there and they covninced him he was the only one that could protect me...from the Death Eates." she paused a moment to take in a deep breath. "The first nights I was there I remember these horrible nightmares with people screaming these horrible screams and flashes of green light. And then it would feel like snakes were crawling through my bed and hissing things in my ears." she paused again to hold her emotions in. "I was scared to run to Kingsley's room because I knew he thought I was an inconvenience. Something he had to put up with until I was old enough to come here. To Hogwarts.". Then she ran hwer fingers through her hair and pulled herself back to reality and to the present.

Anna-Marie raised an eyebrow at his comment, ignoring his scoff. "You can't say it has nothing to do with me hating you, because that's what you just brought up. You said I don't need to hate you anymore. So, obviously does...." She trailed off, processing the rest of his statement. That made her even more confused. "Besides, why would you even want to be my sole 'caretaker' as you so put it?" This was asked for a more personal reason. One she wouldn't reveal..

Jake huffed a little bit as the girl untangled his words and used it against him. Half of him wanted to leave her to being a slave forever. A slave or a tool with no dignity.
Of course...that part of him was also the part of the part that didn't want that. There was 25% of him that wanted to do something else.
"Because I feel like I have to if no one else is. Do you want to be dragged around forever? Picked on by Crucius and the others?"
