Any people in here have a good sense of the pulse of US VK/OK/JRock fandom? I have a question I would like answered sensibly and I'm too squeamish to go wander into those possible threads with little information.
(I also don't want to give what is possibly a largely unknown band any free advertising.)

Don't worry, I won't misuse this knowledge of future events... much. As far as I can see, it's looking much better...except it's kind of rainy. sweatdrop

Is it the Central or Mountain zone that celebrated New Years at 2 AM EST time? I really need to know which zone I'll be venting my wrath on... some drunken b***h backed into my truck hard enough to knock it nearly into Luna's car one space over. She seemed about to drive off (had backed out of the parking lot into the street and didn't seem to be parked) when I got behind her and jotted her license plate down. She then stuck her head out and told me that her insurance would cover any damage. I told her that she'd need to stick around and that I'd be out in a minute, so she'd need to stick around.
So I ran in, put some warmer clothes on, grabbed a pad and pen (I had written her plate on some folded up paper), and called the cops since she had been looking to pull a hit & run and seemed a less than sober. While I was doing this, she was hanging around outside yelling that she was gonna leave in a minute or two and that I should "get the ******** out there now".
A few minutes later I got out there to see that she had parked her vehicle out of sight in the lot behind the block across from mine, was talking to someone several doorways down from the unit my appartment was in, and that damage to my truck was mainly some dents and scratches to my rear passenger side panel near my lights. A moment later the cruiser pulled up and asked me if I was the guy who called him.
At this point her story started fluctuating wildly while mine stayed the same. First she hadn't hit me; then she hadn't done much damage; then she claimed that the damage on my truck was already there (even though the whole vehicle was covered in frost but the damaged parts had no frost on them); then that her car wasn't there; then that she hadn't been driving and someone else was; then that her mystery driver had walked home, even though she previously said they were from Northampton (roughly 20 miles away, where I commute to work every day). The cops found her vehicle in the other lot, found some damage on it, and asked her for the keys, which she denied having. So they, having probably cause, said they'd check her to see if she had them... and she freaked out about her rights, frothed about being a criminal justice major, and struggling when they cuffed her. While I was filling out my statement, the officer relayed a radioed message from his partner who left with her that she had indeed had the keys in her pocket.
Oh, the best part? Despite not being able to speak clearly or rationally, she claimed that she had only had 3 beers in the last two and a half months. So the cop asked her how many shots she'd had in the last two and a half hours... Lulz.
