Streamjumper Ok, did anyone get the invites for the Strange Brew private showing? I went through the process, but it seems that Cinemas isn't giving me a link to it to add people or even get into the showing I set up. evil
Apparently it was in my inbox but I never got an alert.
I just found it when I went to check a new PM like... a minute ago.
It was for 5:45 PST.

Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know that I made it safely to Japan. And that we're going to sushi for lunch! whee
It's also kind of funny that you guys are talking about getting tonsils out because my sister is having her's out today. Poor kid...it's not just tonsils either. They're also operating on her sinuses. sweatdrop

I did a little reading up on it (always good to know it's pretty safe to install) and I know other people with similar set ups did have some problems. It was well past start time by the time I got that far though and the manga called me back. (Oh FMA, how convenient that the one day I don't have a disc of The War, you end up being so full of WWII-esque scenes.) The invite should be for around 11:30 EST. Maybe you were thrown off by it being shown as 8:30ish... but that's because all Gaia time works on PST. Dill and I were there for a while.

I really want this Grant Morrison comic, but so far I can only find it online.
Even E-Bay doesn't have it- but there are five copies on Amazon, starting at $40 and ending at $75 or something like that xp
Which isn't that expensive, but I can't afford it until February.
Edit: Found three more on Barnes & Noble's website, starting at $38. Maybe there's hope afterall >>;

Which should mean that it'll be starting at 11:35 EST. I think they overcompensated for time zones.

The DRM/screen-scraping prevention and whatnot is going to probably want crazy privileges, and that's why I'm guessing it's not jiving with my system. I see WideVine is looking to hire multiplatform/linux people so maybe in the future (or there's something obvious I'm just really missing.)
