to pick a flower TweedleKeys to pick a flower .. Our Borders took away all the couches so that people wouldn't sit in there and read. Little do they know that poor college students will read anything for free, anywhere that they can. Including the floor. That and I guess I'm lucky that I read in a section most people around where I live, never, ever go. Political science and Ancient Art... Huzzah! You would think they would notice, even with chairs, there are always manga bums on the floor, bending back the covers so no one would want to actually buy the book. I never bent covers. gonk I got in the habit of barely opening books because my best friend was so a**l about opening a book all the way. I don't sit and read manga anymore, either. I usually skim the first, middle and last chapters of a book that looks interesting and then add it to my "to buy" list of stuff for my bf to get with his borders discount. xd Occasionally I skim X-Men comics cause the art is pretty. But otherwise.. I know what I want in the manga section. I just grab it and go. No need to sit there and be a hassle to other people. I feel bad for photo students that want to get to photo books, because the manga isle faces the photo isle. its IMPOSSIBLE to get around those kids. I just order all my manga online rather than messing with the store, but yeah, that section requires some fancy footwork!

Bleh, I was about to start a trek to the post office (1.5 miles away) when there's a knock on the door. I don't open the door for people not in postal uniforms and not without a cell phone in hand when I'm alone. I also don't do this out of habit because more than likely it's some jerkwad trying to force me to buy newspapers and not take 'no' for an answer (this is why I will never buy a local newspaper again.) This time I think it might be some aggressive realtor trying to get me to sell this place (which I rent.) I guess I'll hide inside until he's through casing my part of the neighborhood.
If I ever get my own place, I'm going to get one of those 'no soliciting' signs.

RaeRae Rave I haven't had my wisdom teeth out yet D: Three of them are coming in fine. I'm kind of hoping to avoid it... You should be able to if they're coming in fine and if the dentist hasn't said anything! Crap, I haven't been in ages gonk My wisdom teeth story wasn't good. When I got back, I kept throwing up and wouldn't stop, so (whited for possible grossness) I had to have a suppository to stop throwing up. But after that I was pretty good! But damn, the food getting in there sucks.

I remember I used to be obsessed with Saito, to the point of fangirlism. I even joined an RP site which was dedicated to him and the Shinsengumi, and actually, they did their research. There's a lot of hidden manga/doujinshi/back alley series that was covered up by RK which is about the Shinsengumi. They even found Shinsengumi items, like plushies and action figures. It's not a huge thing, but I'm thinking somewhere along the way, the Shinsengumi was supposed to be a bigger part than it was given in RK. It was just covered up by the red-haired ***** midget.I'm really curious to what these looked like, even though I know the inherent danger. He's looking at me. He's loooooking at me. gonk

Anji, Hannya, Misao. I like 'villians' ninja Mala heart s Shishio. Reminds me of Keys and Pika-Saito. xd ...I think I now understand the meaning of the term 'backlog bomb'
