Miss, uh, Green, I certainly wouldn't argue that Parody per se is not covered by law. But are these...tracts...parody in nature? Or are they...well...pornography that use well-known personalities to peddle their wares?

*packs up her table*
Have a good evening all. Good luck on your book, Mr. Boy.

Well, I mean, it seems rather simple to me. If a person doesn't mind having their likeness used in these writings, no problem. They have given implied permission by not requesting that they be removed.
But if a person DOES mind, and expressly requests that fictions bearing their likeness that are not released with their approval are removed, then, legally, they should have to be removed.

I mean, as much as I would LOVE to go to trial over it all, I heard someone attacked the statue of Justice over there. I'm a little worried.

Yes, but I generally try to keep my dazzling superheroic antics out of the courtroom. I can't tell you how many times I've been reprimanded for 'showboating.'
If I'm in the middle of a cross-examination, and some screwy Louie comes in waving a spear, I'd have to abandon the trial and take care of the spear-and the judges just HATE that for some reason. I'd prefer a trial to just BE a trial.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's my clients who should be protected, not myself. I am but a conduit in the closed-circuit of justice!
