Kaos Incarnate There's actually some artists on deviantart that have TG based wars between each other (in teams of course) Huh... I knew it existed. There is actually some really badass art I have seen. I just thought people did it more to, well you know. Copyrighted characters.

Well some people do that, but some people like to broaden it to original characters, or in LPS' case gaia online avatars, heck i've ordered one or two genderbender pieces of art since the free one from Item

Kaos Incarnate TtheHero Hey Kaos, get what just happened last night.
I went into the R&C and came across a thread where someone was giving out mere lineart.
Thing is they wanted these items in exchange for something that wasn't even fullbodied, HQ, or even colored, save for the eyes. It was just lineart. Oh and not the gold to save up for the items, they wanted those items directly in exchange for it.
Compared to the shops that usually charge over a mil, this was a gross miscalculation on their part. In no way am I surprised one bit that NOBODY even offered.
I can understand that one was trying to do a nice gesture for another, but... really? 1-2 mil for this? THey'd have been better off if they aimed lower or put out something more than that. Well some people tend to overprice thier art, because of greed. Then again that happens with AI aswell people get greedy
Apparently they were asking for those items straight up because Gaia means nothing to them, and one of them was set on leaving anyway.
They must probably not know that not everyone and their grandma can afford such high priced niceties and as such nobody would be daft enough to give it up for something as little as that.
I know it may seem a bit... mean of me, but I almost felt a sense of victory when they closed their thread.
...Well for such an insane demand, they were destined to fail anyway.

I always thought the whole OC thing was kinda gay.
I mean I have a few, but they're from a tentative book. Having a character and doing nothing with it except drawing it repeatedly doesn't really make it a character at all. They need personalities and backgrounds and s**t.

Yeah, I more meant backgrounds not copy-and-pasted from some other character already in existence. xd Just LOOKING original isn't enough to be an original character.
