Dragon Sneeze String_Theory Dragon Sneeze String_Theory The three Ayames jump back, carrying their respective charges with them as Onryou drew his blade. Or rather he drew two short swords from opposite sides off the sheath as he rushed at Ifuuki, seeming to pay no heed to the noxious fumes. Onryou threw one of his swords with insane speed at Ifuuki's head. As the sword flew he began to form seals with his free hand... Ifuuki threw three scalpels at the flying sword altering its trajectory just enough... Onryou twitched the pommel of the sword in his hands and the flying sword twitched back on the right trajectory. The swords seemed to be more than ordinary. Meanwhile Onryou finished his seals and placed one hand to the ground as he ran, then whipping it up quickly as he said "Doton: Kamizori Sento no Jutsu". A line of razor sharp spires of rock and diamond jutted from the earth and converged on Ifuuki from eight sides, meaning to impale her so greatly that she would not be able to move and avoid the sword aimed at her head. Seeing that her tactic proved unsuccessful, Ifuuki tuned the reflexes in her legs and timed a forward flip as the spikes shot toward her. With unbeleiveable accuracy she flew forward and caught the blade with both her palms while avoiding a painful impaling. Her normal games would make no appearance against such a skilled opponent, as a single mistake could mean disaster. She grabbed the sword by the hilt and pointed it at Onryou. "Don't consider this battle simple. You may not be fooled by my tricks, but believe me, you are going to get much more than you bargained for." "Perhaps, but we shall see in the end," Onryou said as he gave the sword him his hand a fast twirl. At the same time the sword in Ifuuki's hand gave a enormous tug, attempting to pull free of her grip and twirl on it's own, possibly even severing a limb in the process. At the same time that he spun the sword in the air he brought his hand together in a string of seals that was so fast it was barely visible before he caught the sword the air and said, "Doton: Diamond Minefield" as well as "Doton: Exploding Earth Spires" (no translations for those yet). The jagged rocks behind Ifuuki exploded in a hail of shrapnel men to shred her body as the sword distracted her.

Tenka looked at Eiju as the scene unfolded, as if ended he said, "He was certainly right about the egotistical part. Tell me though, how did he fool the mirror wheels?"
Eiju seemed amused at the question and just raised an eyebrow as he said, "The boy talks big for someone who ran away with his tail between his legs don't you think?"
"Perhaps," Tenka said as he moved to take off his outer robes to free up his arms. "I just hope you didn't use up all you energy on him because your eyes are a weakness against me."
"I don't need these to deal with with you Tenka," Eiju said as his eyes faded his normal golden irises and Tenka's followed suit, fading to black. "Now, let's dance......"

Meanwhile Kasa was making his way back to Eiju when he was grabbed, lifted off the ground and smash back onto the rock on his back where he was held there by one firm hand. Attached to that hand was Kira, her piercing blue eyes on him and her free hand on the hit of her sword.
"Kasa, how good to see you again, I believe Rio mentioned your little scuffle between you two. I think you may have went a little overboard with Rio hm?" Kira said with a playful tone, though her viciousnes was clearly hiding just beneath the surface.
"I think Onryou has been needing a word with you for some time now." Kira then threw Kasa off the ground and into the forest, herself a streak behind him as his armored body shattered trees with the pure force that Kira had put behind her throw. Pulling punches was obviously not something even considered doing.
Once Kasa came to a stop in a trench that his body had carved out at the end of Kira's throw Kira was already on top of him. This time Kasa was to battered to offer any real resistance so she grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and began carrying him toward Onryou's group.

[b]Flashback[/b]
The boy gasped for air, his eyes were clouded by a dense fog, his vision impaired, the amber of his eyes swept through the mist, searching for something, anything that he could grasp.
He longed to return to his old life, to be happy and carefree, to be Human.
He has wasted away, he had become nothing but a shadow of Oblivion, an empty vessel for power and rage.
"The battlefield will become your family." A voice hissed, it was so close, yet so far away.
The boy looked for the speaker, searching for the source of the voice wildly, but to no avail.
"Do not waste your energy, you cannot see, you must accept that." The voice spoke again.
The boy stopped, he felt tears running down his cheeks, he felt sorrow poisoning his body.
"You will remain blind until you realize that your emotion is what hinders you, you will never taste, see, smell or touch until you have freed yourself."
The boy tried to speak, his voice was lost in the silence.
He calmed himself and cleared his mind, his body became warm, his skin tingled and he felt something cool on his chest.
"Now, you are ready."
An agonizing pain wrenched the boy's gut, his body shook violently and he fell to the floor, struggling to breath, trying to resist the urge to vomit.
His eyes searched again, the mist had begun to fade, he began to smell damp, he felt something soft beneath him.
"You are reborn." the voice hissed.
And with this the boy realized what he had done.
He looked at his chest, a black seal was clearly visible in the centre of his upper torso.
"Never again will your emotion cloud your judgement," The voice explained, "Unless you let it."
The boy rose from the floor, turning on his heel rapidly and faced the speaker at last, a set of eyes glowed at him from the shadows of the room.
"Seek out your past."
"Seek out your past and destroy it entirely." The voice commanded.
The boy nodded, he would hunt his old life and he would never surrender.
"I am reborn." He smiled to himself.

Akira "It's now or never, Ryou-sama."
"What the hell are you doing?" The ring hissed.
"Something I've been planning for a while now." He sighed, forming a couple of seals and nodding as two water-bunshins appeared in front of him.
"Akira, what is this?" the ring asked quietly.
"I'm going to distract those two and get out while I can still walk." Akira shook his head as he said it.
"I realize that I can't beat them, not in this condition." He sighed, forming one more seal and running a ringer down his chest.
"What did you just do? What is this chakra?" The ring exclaimed.
"In a few minutes I will be gone, Ryou-sama." Akira smiled, he nodded to the two bunshin, who promptly turned and continued the plan.
"What do you mean? Why did you use that technique back in the Temple? Why did you waste your chakra?" Ryou growled.
"I didn't waste anything, I needed to make certain that the water content of the air was high enough for this, for my Prestige." Akira chuckled, looking at the ring.
"You mean... you never intended to fight them?" Ryou sighed.
"No. I intended to keep them busy while someone else got the sword."
"But why? You could have taken it earlier, before you used that technique."
"No, I wouldn't have been able to get away, my body can only take so much stress and exertion." Akira tutted, walking slowly away, shaking as he did so.
"What are you doing, Akira? What's wrong?"
"If I don't make it, you have to tell this story." Akira smiled, removing the ring and grasping it tightly in his hands.
He reached the bank of the river, he formed two final seals and his entire body wrenched heavily, every molecule of his body separated, spilling fluidly into the river, carrying him away.
'Let's just hope those two are as stupid as I thought.' ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Akira-Bunshin1 He formed two seals and his body began to flicker, shifting oddly, becoming a liquid. Akira knew it had worked, the water vapour in the air would make sure that his bunshin could make a sufficient clone, while his other bunshin observed and transmitted everything back to him.

"That guy is certainly something," Eiju said as he brushed dust off his clothes. "Shame I hadn't heard of him before, I would very much have liked to kill him and take his jutsus. Guess I'll just have to make up for lost time." Kasa only responded by popping his shoulders as he reached around and pulled his large sword off his back and jumped away with Eiju as he moved towards Akir'a chakra again. It was stronger than it had been just after the jutsu, but still weaker than it was before. If Eiju played his game right he was sure that he would have Akira's head by the day's end. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Issui appeared in a swirl of water next to Tobasu. He was dressed in his usual blue suit and had a large overcoat on that was blue with sea green waves patterned across it. His blue and white hair blew in the dry desert wind as he looked around. "Are we ready to leave?" He asked Tobasu "Soon, we have to wait for Masayuki. Then we set off. Rin-chan and that Mai where with your friend right? Do you have any idea on where they might have been headed?" Tobasu asked. "Well I would think that being caught up in this whole thing just as we are Rio would have learned of the Kusanagi's importance. With that informtion he would have undoubtedly gone to his father, Onryou-sama. Between his father, Tenka-sama and Kira-sama I'm am sure one of them would know the location of the cursed sword. They would most likely give chase to the weapon as fast as possible, so we should head toward the sword." Issui did not mention the possibility of the Tenken. He knew of the Tenken as much as Rio or Akira, their three teachers had mentioned it in great length among the other legends and powerful artifacts. However Issui had asked about the tests and from what Oryou had told him, almost no one was fit to complete the tasks without almost killing themselves. He didn't want to give hope of a solution he did not believe was coming. "Glad to see you are here as well Masa" Tobasu said. "Well...something just hit me. If my cute Rin-chan is in serious trouble she can summon me and Masayuki to her instantly considering she has my scroll. So if she is in trouble we will know." Tobasu paused for a small second "But since we formed this team already...there is something I would like to...confirm...It's related to the cursed sword. Can't say anything else about it." Tobasu said with a serious tone. Tobasu grabbed a tag from his pouch. "Alright guys you know the drill. Smear some blood over it." Tobasu watched as all of them bit their thumb or whereever they wanted to draw blood from and smeared it on the center of the tag. Tobasu was the last one to do it. When he was finished an orb began to form around them distorting time/space. And then they just vanished. Only to appear in the at the border of the Fire Country and River Country (( Since noone payed attention to it ima using mah hax! xD)) "Almost there" Tobasu said to his team as they dashed towards their destination. They were already close by. The group reached the back of the temple. There was a lot of chakra in the air along with alot of water vapor. "Damn...what's with this vapor?" Ganeni said as he looked around. "It seems I was right...this is were it is..and this is were everybody is. There have been many fights nearby..." Tobasu said as he was brainstorming every possibilaty of what could have happened here. "Masayuki, Ganeni, Issui, scout the area but stay in range of eachother. I think Ifuuki-chan is here...I will take care of her. Don't worry about me...I'll be fine" Tobasu said as he gave the order and dashed to the front of the Temple.

He knew of the Tenken as much as Rio or Akira, their three teachers had mentioned it in great length among the other legends and powerful artifacts. However Issui had asked about the tests and from what Oryou had told him, almost no one was fit to complete the tasks without almost killing themselves. If my cute Rin-chan is in serious trouble she can summon me and Masayuki to her instantly considering she has my scroll. So if she is in trouble we will know." Tobasu paused for a small second "But since we formed this team already...there is something I would like to...confirm...It's related to the cursed sword. Can't say anything else about it." Tobasu said with a serious tone. Tobasu grabbed a tag from his pouch. "Alright guys you know the drill. Smear some blood over it." Tobasu watched as all of them bit their thumb or whereever they wanted to draw blood from and smeared it on the center of the tag. Tobasu was the last one to do it. When he was finished an orb began to form around them distorting time/space. And then they just vanished. Only to appear in the at the border of the Fire Country and River Country (( Since noone payed attention to it ima using mah hax! xD)) "Almost there" Tobasu said to his team as they dashed towards their destination. They were already close by. The group reached the back of the temple. There was a lot of chakra in the air along with alot of water vapor. "Damn...what's with this vapor?" Ganeni said as he looked around. "It seems I was right...this is were it is..and this is were everybody is. There have been many fights nearby..." Tobasu said as he was brainstorming every possibilaty of what could have happened here. "Masayuki, Ganeni, Issui, scout the area but stay in range of eachother. I think Ifuuki-chan is here...I will take care of her. Don't worry about me...I'll be fine" Tobasu said as he gave the order and dashed to the front of the Temple. Masayuki nodded and shot forward. The landscape was dotted with evidence of battle and the ground was wet as if a great storm had passed. He kept his eyes open. Chiyo whispered into Shinji's ear. "Do you know the differance between a caged bird and a free one?" Shinji instantly though of his clan's ritual. "Yes." Shinji said, running next to Akira. "What are you getting at?" Lifting up her shirt, she revealed a summoning tattoo itched on her stomach. "You live in a cage Shinji-chan. Allow me to open the door." She activated the tattoo and the ground exploded below them. A gigantic woolly spider shot up much to the suprise of the group. Chiyo ended up on the back of the spider who had just finished wrapping Shinji in web. Sensing the intervention of the other nins, Chiyo spoke. "Hold. Unless you want Shinji-chan crushed by Ichimoto's jaws." The spider held Shinji, who had been wrapped up to his neck in web, in its powerful mandibles.

Onryou looked as though he was done for. As Ifuuki slashed through him though his body faded and was immediately replaced by a new Onryou behind Ifuuki, his blade poised to stab the back of Ifuuki's head and come out her face.
Onryou offered no explanation for his sudden burst of speed or his body being unaffected by the poison. In fact he offered no explanation at all, but one thing was certain, he had played Ifuuki like a fiddle.

Akira looked incredibly annoyed at Chiyo's deceit. "You said no funny business lady, I don't like liars."

Taki move quickly and quietly through the landscape on her personal mission.
She carried with her two swords that were not her own. They were heavier than the weapons she normally used and longer than were usable in her line of work. Still she knew the man who had used them was incredibly skilled with them, more skilled as a kenjutsu user than most she had met, even at his age.
She was shocked at her luck when she came upon the man and ninjas traveling with them. She was still a fair distance behind them when the ground underneath the ninjas exploded and a spider grabbed one of them.
the man who's sword she had and a lizard summon managed to move clear of the spider but they seemed to be at a stand off. Taki decided that it was time to revert to her stealth training and began moving as quite a humanly possible as she began weaving a genjutsu to make her blend into the surrounds and inched closer to the developing situation....

In any normal situation, he would've send a co-ordinated slashes of chakra, utilizing the jyuuken arts, into the web thus neutralizing it. However, it would seem his chakra was disoriented, due the amount of chakra relaxing drugs he'd had pumped into him.

The boy found himself standing atop a mountain, a bitterly cold wind bit at his flesh, forcing his hair from his face.
"What must you do, boy?" a voice hissed.
The boy turned to face the foot of the mountain and nodded.
"I must destroy my past." He replied.
The voice commented on his dedication, but the boy was already gone, his feet barely touched the ground as he raced downwards, skipping over loose rocks and practically taking flight, soaring out into the open air, his arms stretched, his skin drawn tight by the cold.
The boy landed atop a tree, tracing it's fleshy bark slowly, his fingers traced the lines of his past.
"Wood. Wood..." The boy repeated.
"Sakurai..." He seethed, running a finger across the bark once more and slicing it open neatly.
