I hate hypocrites. I know I am one, but if that really bad feeling I've been getting for the past month or so is right and she's an even bigger one than I am, bad things will happen. Mostly things like me yelling at people and trying to make them hurt as much as I'ma hurt, but still. Bad things.
I want to go back to Tahoe. She wasn't there.

And lets see how long it takes them to fill my work order and fix the damn bathtub, because I needed a bathtub that doesn't drain on top of the other s**t. Like the realization that I'm going to have to take yet another foreign language class, and probably at least four more gen ed bullshits than planned because heaven forbid something count towards the major and gen ed, or the fine arts requirement for the major and gen ed. Seriously, I'm really going to b***h up a storm if the 500 level that I have to take for my major that would also cover a fine art won't cover the fine art (because my elective for my major covers a fine art, so why shouldn't this one), so that I can move my theatre class to cover the gen ed. Damnit, I wanted to graduate in under five years.

A summons you say?! About damn time I got one.
I'm just hoping that this time around that I get picked the first day or dismissed the first day.
Because last year I got on the stand first day and the next day first five minutes in I get dismissed. If I had known that I would've liked a notice the first day so I didn't have to go all the way to the other side of the valley just for them to say they don't need me. That was a three hour bus ride I didn't need.

Thankfully this year around I'm a bit updated.
One, I have a car and drive now. Two, I have an iPod nano to keep myself entertained during the long boring wait.
And three, I don't have to do the long boring bus ride home.
I'm just hoping I get picked this time around if it's an interesting case.
I want the chance to be on a criminal case like I was almost on last year. crying
Gawd, I must be really dull and boring to want to be on a jury, or just want to be important in something interesting. sweatdrop emo

Oh, criminal cases are overrated. Bunch of drunk drivers. Thanks for wasting a month of my summer... I only had to deal with my classes - other people had to miss an entire month of work and call off vacations with their families. It's such a waste of time, and the case wasn't even interesting. We all voted her guilty, then joked in the deliberation room about having a "jury reunion dinner party" at her restaurant.
The judge promised us we wouldn't be summoned for 2 years but I just got another one. I am pretty pissed. :/

The one I was almost on was possession of stolen items mainly. Which I personally found interesting. On top of that the lawyers and judge made it kind of fun despite the fact that we had to either find the defendant guilty or innocent. I'm just not looking to the 27-30 mile drive to the court house and then the 27-30 mile drive back.
