Kinetic Dream On the one hand, I can't sleep, I can't shake Xipe Totec from my head. gonk On the other hand, I finished the first trade of The Invisibles tonight, and am more interested than the first half led me to believe I would be. And now, for something I haven't said in a ******** you Spider, why you gotta make my head hurt so much, even when you're not around?
But you don't call me Spider in this form. That's King Mob, and it's even a couple fiction suits back. Stretch me out across the fourth dimension and I'll always be Spider; full of fury and invective. I'll be King Mob yearning across the universe for Ragged Robin ascending into the supercontext. But I spent my time cuccooned in my own subconsious. I've sloughed the snakeskin of myth and emerged something new. The memeplex is the virus, not the cure.
Be careful with The Invisibles, Kin. If in Soviet Russia, comic books read you, The Invisibles is indeed more Soviet than Stalin's fossilized s**t calcified on the wall of a Moscow sewer.

You know, I never did get beyond the first trade paperback of The Invisibles. I got distracted, I suppose.
Maybe after the holidays I'll get volume 2.

Things pick up considerably after the first one. I'm going back through it from page one to make sure that Kin's brain is turned completely inside out, also because I've got unfinished business with that comic.

..I..don't think I knew that Kamina dies, since I never got past like, the 4th episode of Gurren Lagann and avoided the thread and talk about the show. Now I'm not sure I want to. crying

Akimbo ..I..don't think I knew that Kamina dies, since I never got past like, the 4th episode of Gurren Lagann and avoided the thread and talk about the show. Now I'm not sure I want to. crying You should keep going. The first DVD is supposed to be out in February.

Everything has significance. Better than thinking that I can gloss over some parts.

One more hour until my shitty bio lab final. I am so ready to be done with this semester...except I have two more days of finals next week. emo

I preferred it when my final was a giant research paper. And with all the psych courses I had, that was pretty common. I'm a good writer. I always panicked before a test (although I always did well on them). I liked my biology class, though. We got to do DNA testing. Like they do in the labs (although with synthetic DNA samples). Good luck, Hila! Thank you Luna! I really actually like biology, but I always do poorly on the tests. It's hard for me to remember full names of things. I can usually get part of the word, but... I studied a lot for this test though, so we'll see if I do any better this time. sweatdrop
