I left to give her space, it's what she wanted. I also needed to process what had happened myself. I came back early, thinking perhaps if I continue my duties as always, if I continue to act as her General and care for her, teach her, and be ever-present...that perhaps, she wouldn't forget what we had. However, it appears that she still wants nothing to do with me, and would much rather I not be here.
I can't say that I love only her. But I can say that I am in love with only her. There will still be a select few that I care for, but if you're asking if I care for them as I do for her, the answer is a resounding "no." -lights up a cigarette to keep himself calm, hardly believing he's actually talking to Lavi so freely-

She doesn't even want me in the room. How can I track her down and force myself on her? I respect her too much. That's why I didn't fight in the first place, right after she told me. That's why I gave her what she wanted. I had to respect her wishes, even if it killed me... -rubs the back of his neck and shoulder-
You shouldn't have to worry about this. I know you're close to her...she's your good friend. But it isn't your job to patch things between us.
(( Neko: Both of them had to work on things, I don't see how that could be your fault.
