So..as some of you know my new room is coming along. Once I have all the stuff up there then I'll start moving office stuff up to my old room and then hopefully I'll have internet soon. I'd say before Christmas hopefully. Need to go though, so talk to you guys later.

Skizzors So, Bioshock. Lot of quotes from random enemies, Little Sisters, etc. that some of them are fairly rare. With my friend playing today, I heard some I haven't before. "Three too many, three too many, three too many!!" "Chocolates is better than grapes. Chocolates is better than grapes." And then, once my friend's little brother and dad were in the room, watching her play the game.. "There's semen on everything! On everything!" I knew you'd like it.

im thinking about asking for a big christmas gift this year.
the mac leopard os and a new mac computer. T__T expensive, yes. beautiful? Yes. what are some pros and cons of windows vs mac? would i be able to play things like ragnorak and maple story on a mac? T__T

She swears by them (I prefer windows, myself... but probably just because I'm so used to them that when I use a mac it's a bit awkward sometimes) Edit: uerade: personally, i think games are easier on a mac in general uerade: but i don't know about those in particular uerade: but you should have her look into games that she likes to see if they COME for macs uerade: that's a con uerade: some games either don't come out for macs if they're not populat enough uerade: or uerade: you have to wait a while uerade: like for the sims 2 expansion packs uerade: i always have to wait a few months She also said compatibility is easier (plug things in and just go) and that everything is laid out much more nicely and neatly.

tpaf: In terms of being able to play Ragnarok and Maple Story: There isn't native support, but I believe that if you use a virtual Windows application like Wine, you should be able to. That's the big disadvantage to Macs for a gamer - a LOT of MMOs primarily have support for Windows, and other OSes (UNIX-based ones like Linux and Macintosh) are ignored.
Kin: Tektek provides a randosig service. I can't remember how it works if you want to DIY, but you usually have to use a server that supports PHP.
