Shoujo Phoenix I have the worst luck with speakers. The port went out; not the speaker, the ******** port on the subwoofer. I was hoping it would just be the speaker, but I tested plugging either into the left port, and both worked. ******** you, speakers. Right after we ordered a new volume controller since ours completely crapped out and the sound waivers like hell when you try to adjust it. I guess it's pointless now.
Anyone have any suggestion on really good computer speakers used mainly to listen to music? We went with Creative last time because usually I thought they made good stuff, but for the past 7 months or so, it's been nothing but issues. And now this. stressed I'm in the same boat with speakers, mine are going to crap. They're nothing spectacular to begin with, but still. They started buzzing now, which is annoying. sweatdrop Let me know if you find anywhere with good speakers.

Aside from Bose, I'm not sure xP I would definitely go with Bose though if you're able to scrounge up enough cash for one of their systems (one of the upper end ones since their lower ones don't seem to get great reviews...). Otherwise, I would personally go with Logitech or Creative...though like I said, this last Creative system has given me too many issues. At home, I just used a Sony home entertainment center thing...and hooked up my computer, DVD player, and video games all through it. The sound was pretty nice and not really any issues besides one weird port that goes out once in a while.
