Mercuryangel Mercury gave a heavy sigh. So much for that. "Fine...you have a point. When I return we'll talk, at length. All three of us. I promise that."
She closed her eyes and slowly let the weaves of Delving sink into him. She probed slowly and carefully seeking what she wanted. She discovered Wolf's mind to be under some stress..but nothing else. She focused on the other parts of his mind and suddenly ran up against something. Try as she might, she could not force the Source past. She frowned.
"There's something there...but I don't know what...I can't get past...well not here anyway...I can get past it in Tel'ar'an'hoid. Want me to try?" "Ok, we'll talk after then. So there is something there then, alright I'll see you in Tel'ar'an'hoid, you want me to hold you up or where do you want to do this?" He opens himself half in and half out of the dream world he paitently waits for Mercury to join him.

"It's fine. I can channel a chair for myself...and use the wall in any case. I'll meet you there...in your dream."
As she spoke, Mercury wove a weave of water to blur the area encompassed within the eavesdropping ward and inverted it. No one would notice the fog unless the actually found the weave and probed it. She then channeled a chair made out of Air, and tied it off. She settled down on it, making it look eerily as if she were sitting on thin air..which in a way she was.
She closed her eyes, and found herself in her "base" in Tel'ar'an'hoid. She moved through the ocean of dreams, and found Wolf's. Before she went in, she noted that something was different about the wards.

All of them, then re-did them so neither you or I noticed. Then the fools went and warded it their own way. I managed to break most of the wards, but not all.
For now I've shielded your dreams and warded them again with the strongest weaves I know. But till I break those final weaves, I can't get in...there might be a chance you can't get in either...at least, not by purposefully trying...
So what's this about? What's wrong?"

Alena DoRahn Mercury walked out into the hall and shut the door after her. Katerine shrugged her shoulders before walking back toward the fire and sitting down next to Nine. Azalea was still looking at the ter'angreal, so Katerine talked low to Nine. "I'll bond you right after this. I actually have a suggestion that you might find interesting." Katerine was refering to a double bond. She had peeked in on the Black Tower enough times to realize that the men there knew how to bond women. At some point she had worked up the audacity to ask an Ashaman about the procedure and was rather surprised to find it similiar to the warder bond. Although she didn't know the affects of a dual bond, Katerine figured there would be no harm in trying it. Nine was rather intrigued by this proposal, whatever it might be. If Katerine had an idea that she saved for their ears only, it usually was a good one. He wispered back into her ear. "Well, I look forward to this. It's been some time since we last talked of bonding."

"We were just talking about it before Azalea and Mercury came here. Has it really been that long?"
Katerine was being playful with Nine. Those who knew her understood that humor would occassionally be sprinkled in her words. The smile was still on her face when she spoke again.
"I know we were speaking of me bonding you, but I think we could bond each other."

He was now very interested.

Katerine giggled at Nine's reaction. He looked so funny like that. She gave him a soft pat on the back.
"Yes, it can be done. The men at the Black Tower bond women and I spoke with one of them. He told me how they do it."

The mention of the Black Tower made Nine cringe, he had never liked the thought of the sadair and saidin sides of the Power being devided. He thought the men and women channelers should work as one, to expel the Shadow with minimal loss. Though, his idea was none too popular in many places.
"Well then? What is it? This, this secret? Can it be told here? Now?"

"It is just a simple weave of Spirit that looks like a net. He said they are taught to set it by kissing the woman, but he believes that is unnecessary. Other than that, he really didn't tell me much."
Katerine was trying to remember what else the Ashaman had told her, but he was vague especially about how the weave actually looked though.

: Azalea had sat herself down at a desk and was now investigating the strange ter'angreal. She began speaking, partly to herself and partly to Katerine. "I sensed it's presence a while back but I know that some Aes Sedai like to keep a ter'angreal or angreal to themselves every now and then so I hadn't thought much of it. I am very glad that you showed this to me. I am writing a complete compendium of Power-wrought items, and this may very well be something to add to the books. " She poked at the ter'angreal with Saidar and then released the Source. "Based on what you have said and the weaves it appears to have, I would guess it is used for the simple and yet complex purpose of breaking Shadowspawn weapons. Of course, as with all Power-wrought items, I am sure that it has its limits, but I think it could prove very useful, especially for an Aes Sedai traveling to the Blight." Azalea shifted in her chair to look up at Katerine and the man beside her, the movement caused her angreals and ter'angreals to chime. "It is of little use to toy with words so I will be out with it. Mercury and I are traveling to Cairhein to retrieve a hidden stash of Power-wrought items that I have recently located." She clutched her Eye necklace subconsiously, "I will form a gateway a few hours away from the main city and we will ride the horses that we are to bring the few hours it will take to get from there to Cairhein. Mercury and I would like to know if you and your warder...or warders..." She glanced at the man whom she vaugly recognized to be a young man by the name of Nine and wondered what kind of awkward relationship was taking place. "We were wondering if you all would like to accompany us, we will be leaving in a few hours to avoid the prattle of the busy-body Aes Sedai that this Tower is so sadly full of." :

As Katerine began to think on something else, Nine's face went profusly red.
Kiss? Kiss Katerine? NO! I couldn't!
He felt apalled at himself for even entertaining the thought of kissing her. Then again, he did not.
Blast that bloody thought to the Shadow a thousand times over! I cannot-will not think of her in such a way!
So as to compose himself, Nine cleared his throat and spoke softly only to hear his voice crack.
"I-i, uh, *Ahem*, I mean to ask, when can this be done? And how much time does it require?"
He felt more blood come to his face.

"As long as it takes you to create the weave and set it. So not that long at all."
Nine's reaction caused her smile to deepen. Then Azalea came over and sat down. After listening to their reason for visiting her, Katerine shook her head. A small laugh escaped her lips at the mention of busy-body Aes Sedai though. She composed herself and looked to the other woman.
"I think that would be lovely. I don't like staying in the Tower and right now I don't have anything of importance to attend to. As to who will come with me, I'll ask Skiiy if he can get away from his duties as Swordmaster, but Nine will certainly be coming."

I think I should wait to try and form any weave here. I mean, what if I can't perform? GA! NOT LIKE THAT! I mean, what if I can't make the weave and avoid the...the...that action? Even in his mind he could not make himself say it again. I'll just form it, send it, and there'll be no need for kissing. Oh, bloody hell, what if it needs to be done?! What if that man from the Black Tower was lying? Oh, Light! Help me!
Though his mind was racing and his heart may as well have been too, his face seemed to have attained utter and complete calm.
