Yeah currently some girl is Britain holds the record of having the most Pokemon merchandise in the world. To make a point of it, a documentary was made showing her entire room was decorated top to bottom with stuff.

Well, I'm not sure if it's changed any, since it's a 2011 edition book, but according to this. One Lisa Courtney from the UK held the record of 14,410 different pokemon items, when counted in October of 2010.
