"That meeting is called a 'Gathering'." Moonblaze mewed, her lip curling in amusement.
[Her eyes sparkled, suggesting that she'd seen all of what had happened to Lusterkit.
Her tail tip twitched as she continued on.]
"It's called a Gathering because all clan cats, who are chosen by their leaders, come to gather under the full moon. And as long as the full moon stays clear and bright, the clans will meet in peace." she mewed, her eyes distant.

Firestorm chuckled at the little kit. He sat down
on his belly next to Lusterkit, a free ride on Firestorm's back.
"She's right. As long as the moon is full the clans remain in
peace." he mewed. "As long as the moon is full..." he whispered.

Aw, this guy's a furball of angst. xD ))
[Hawkblaze sat by the warriors' den, munching lazily on a mouse while watching the cats of StormClan scamper around and whatnot. His golden-amber eyes were...nonchalant.]
Humph…I managed to drive off three she-cats in one sitting. Brilliant, Hawkblaze, simply brilliant.
[He snorted to himself, a frown instantly appearing on his muzzle, though faintly visible because his mouth was stuffed with fresh-kill. Sighing, he flicked his ears, dismissing the negative thoughts and focusing on a more important matter.]
I wonder when Silverstar's going to announce who's going to the Gathering…Haven't been to one in moons…
[His ears flattened with subtle anger as his eyes hardened. It was true; he hadn't attented a Gathering in quite some time, while every other warrior and apprentice had. Especially Thunderflight. Silverstar had probably made sure that she never forgot to choose her former apprentice to accompany her everywhere. Hawkblaze couldn't help but think it was a little biased. Nontheless, he resumed crunching on the small bones of his freshly-caught meal…]_________________________

[Moonblaze gazed at Firestorm with calm blue eyes.]
"Have no fear warrior. Trust that Starclan with be watching over us all." she mewed reassuringly.
[Nodding her head as she padded away, Moonblaze couldn't help but feel a bit cautious too.]
Trust in Starclan. They have all the answers.
[She mumbled this like a mantra as she awaited Silverstar's Gathering announcement.
Her ears perked up as she caught sight of a familiar brown mouse-brain.]
"Hawkblaze, how are those wounds of your healing up?" she asked with open kindness.
[She felt foolish that she still worried over him like this but she couldn't help it.
Tail tip twitching, she awaited his answer anxiously.]

[Brightspirit stood up and circled around a few times before settling down and nodding at Featherheart, smiling]
"I do. His name's Riverfang. As a matter of fact, he's right over there"
[Brightspirit's green eyes searched the clearing, spotting her mate nestled in a corner]
"Riverfang! Come over!"
[Riverfang twitched his ears and swiveled his head around to look over at his mate. He swallowed the rest of his prey and stood up, his massive frame slowly rising. Riverfang shook out his brown coat and padded over to the three she-cats, licking Brightspirit's ear before sitting down]
"Hello ladies"

[Cinderstreak smiled, patting the kit lightly on the head. "Yes, you'll probably go to the next one, or so," he purred. [He noticed some dirt on Lustrekit's nose, and his whiskers twitched in amusement. He brushed it off with his tail and sighed.]

Is trust so hard to earn?══════════════════════════════════════════ [Silverstar strode out of her den, lightly shouldering aside the lichen at the entrance and--with a swift glance of the StormClan camp--leaped onto the Highrock(?) in one fluid motion. Her tail weaving like a snake, the Clan leader yowled the ceremonial words engraved into her mind by the leaders before her.]
"Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting." Her eremald gaze narrowing, Silverstar watched as her Clanmates emerged from their dens like spiders, all crowding before her in one rippling, furry mass. "The Gathering is to commence at any given moment now. If we are to maintain our reputation, we are to leave as soon as possible. The cats attending the Gathering will be: Cindermoon, Moonblaze, Hawkblaze, Riverfang, Featherheart, Firestorm, Skywhisker, Wheatear, Cinderstreak, Barkwind, Miraclesky, Thunderflight, Oakpaw, Cedarpaw and Leopard. Eat quickly! We depart at moonhigh!"
[As the cats below dispersed and scrambled around, Silverstar leapt down and padded up to the fresh-kill pile. She snatched a small mouse; not much, but enough to keep her filled until they all returned. She swiftly tore the mouse into three near pieces and swallowed eat in massive gulps. The silver she-cat ran her tongue over her teeth and muzzle as she padded to the camp entrance and stood by it, awaiting her patrol to gather before her.]

Firestorm sighed. His sister would not be joining
him tonight. He realized that he hadnt eaten for the past couple
of days. He grabbed a small mouse for himself and sat down near
Lusterkit. He ate quickly, and quietly finishing the mouse in a
couple of bites. He then sat on his haunches, watching his clan
calmly.

Waving his tail in greeting to Moonblaze, the tabby tom rolled his damaged shoulder. "It's healing quite well, actually. All thanks to you, you know," He gave the medicine cat a sly side-glance, adding a mischevious smirk for the fun of it.
[Hawkblaze's ears flicked as he heard his name called out in question. He turned to see Skywhisker and Featherheart conversing, catching the pale orange she-cat's last words.]
"That would be me, ladies," he meowed with mock arrogance, casually waving his tail to the two pretty she-cats with giving them a suggestive, narrow-eyed gaze and smile.
There's something about moonhigh that gets me all…stupid…Oh well. No harm in good-humor.
[Since they were near the Highrock anyway, Hawkblaze still sat with Moonblaze as Silverstar addressed the Clan about the Gathering. For once, literally probably the first time he'd ever heard, Silverstar hadn't included Thunderflight in the Gathering patrol. Blinking away the surprise in his eyes, the young warrior rose to his paws to retrieve a sparrow from the fresh-kill pile. He consumed half of it, but stared awkwardly at the other half, not really knowing what to do with it. He certainly didn't want to waste it, so with his forepaw he slid it over to Moonblaze.]
"You can have it. I'm not really hungry," he meowed flatly, giving the silverly she-cat an appologetic half-smile and shrug before beginning to pad over to Silverstar.
[As he passed Skywhisker and Featherheart, the tabby tom flicked the white she-cat's ear with his tail-tip, lightly chuckling to himself with content. Eventually Hawkblaze stood before Silverstar, his chin his with StormClan pride as his bright gaze sweeped the clearing. It wasn't long before he heard a scuffling of paws, saw a flash of fiery fur and...OOF!]_________________________

I am afraid.══════════════════════════════════════════[I whirled around so quickly that I near fell when Silverstar's yowl echoed in the clearing. Rapidly blinking, I parted my jaws in a big smile, excited to hear my name included in the Gathering patrol list. My tail was flicking when I heard that, but it was what I didn't hear that made it abruptly drop to the ground. I spun back to face Thunderflight, my big blue eyes excited, but hurt.]
"You're not going to the Gathering...Oh, I know! When I'm there, I'll make sure to pay attention to every little detail so I can tell you all about each Clan when we get back, okay?" I meowed in a sped-up rant, not really knowing when to stop. I jerked with a sudden realization. "Oh! I'll have to look my best in front of all those cats!"
[I hadn't even finished my sentence when I began to rasp my tongue over my chestfur, then drawing a licked forepaw over each spray of whiskers, just like my mother taught me to when I was as kit. When I finished I mewed a good-bye to Thunderflight and the other cats and ran up to Hawkblaze and Silverstar and waited for the rest of the patrol cats. Did I mention that I skid midway on a few leaves and collided with Hawkblaze? I'm sure he didn't mind...]

[Riverfang's ears pricked in excitement when he heard his name called for the Gathering patrol, but couldn't help feel a spark of dissapointment when his mates name wasn't also called. The tom smiled slightly and looked down at Brightspirit]
"Maybe next time? Don't worry, it won't be the same without you" he purred.
[Brightspirit shrugged and looked down. Memories of their first Gathering that they attended when they came back to StormClan suddenly came flooding back to her. The she-cat looked up at her mate, grinning, with a micheveous gleam in her eyes]
"Hey, maybe Silverstar is doing this on purpose? Wouldn't want a recap of our first Gathering after we came back, now would we?" Brightspirit asked, winking at him.
[Riverfang laughed, and pressed his muzzle against hers before drawing himself up to his full height]
"No, I don't think we would. Well, goodbye. I have to leave now"
[Riverfang grinned as she said good bye, then turned away from his mate, heading towards Silverstar. He had already eaten, so the tom was sure he wouldn't feel hunger gnawing at his stomach until the Gathering was over. Seeing Hawkblaze pad away cockily, Riverfang laughed and stuck his chest out and lifted his chin higher, swaggering over to Silverstar, hearing his mate's laugh behind him]
