You brain works in cycles. At certain times during the day, the chemical that makes you sleepy is released. You go long enough and the chemical goes away and you feel okay for a while, but you are still not rested. Your actions and thought processes are handicapped and when you get tired again, you feel the effects even more. Go long enough, and you will crash because of a bodies kill switch mechanism. To prevent damage or any other adverse effects from sleep deprivation, you pass out without notice. Animals that are tested on have been kept awake and not allowed to sleep in certain experiments. The animals die within weeks.

Ah yes, the insult. That is one of the things that I had seen that really had caught my eye. Yes...
Wow, I don't have work...because I'm still a little kid, if none of you have realized it yet. So I will be stuck here. Might go to the mall, but I suppose I'm staying home today. Sitting on the couch..wishing my mom would let me outside at the park.

*Shrugs* Most of the time it's usually fun and games with me. It's easy for my to shrug things off without much care, so long as it's entertaining for the other person.
And can't say I realized, or cared to judge. But it must be nice despite the lack of freedom. At least you have time on your hands.
Edit: And it's fine; didn't bother me.
Double Edit: Time to go. It's about a twenty minute walk to work and I want to get something to eat as well. Later.

I'm one of those people, who doesn't easily shrug things off. Even though I could, I just don't. And of course, I love this time on my hands. Of course it will be less in 8th grade, but I have tons of time to give away fro that.
It didn't bother you? Well, that is a good thing, you should never let things get to you. And even if you let someone of them get to you, don't let it be all of them.
