Monty looked at Casper. "Don't look so worried. At least she's not banishing you out of Area 6. Which she did already tonight. So, don't worry about it. When we go leave, keep up and no sneaking away. I'm scarier in the dark." He said not looking at her but his voice told all.
(sorry it's been slow....there's a storm outside and it's messing with the signal.....it might knock it out so if it does that's the reason why i appear signed out ^.^)

((Yah, storms suck))
Casper made a face and pulled her legs against her chest, leaning her chin against her knees. There was that. And the fact that she hadn't died, so there were a few points in her favor today.

Monty chuckled softly. Yes he actually chuckled at the way Casper made that face. He didn't like kids and well she was funny but he didn't like her. She reminded him too much of his daughter from along time ago. Like this was along time ago before the earth crumbled and eveything went to hell. Shaking his head he focused on looking ahead of his and planning out which place to call the Twins and where to to set up the meeting with Raid. "You know, your going to get involved deeply. When we go, you tell no one about this understand?" Now that he thought about she might be used against them. Maybe it would be safer for her to be set lose. "If you still want to go, then go now and don't look back." He didn't want anything that would be used against Gambler. Why didn't he think about that from the beginning? Stupid stupid, demon.

"Seriously?" she asked. Even Praia poked her head out. "Think it's okay with her?" She jerked her head towards the door, referring to Gambler. She couldn't believe after all the "run now, get shot" stuff, out of nowhere she was getting the option. Either this guy had something up his sleeve, or was just plain tired of her.

He looked at her with the most serious look he has ever given anyone. "Yes. Dead serious. Since a meeting has been called for that means something seriously wrong has happened. You would be a security issue if you were to accompany me and witness the meeting and hear what is being said. It's for security reasons only. If you were to be taken by your boss and you knew everything that has happened, you would be used against us. If that happens then things won't look good for anyone. Your an innocent. Let's keep it that way." He explained and that would be the same explaination he will give Gambler should she ask.

Casper was still incredulous. The explanation made sense, but it also made a little too much sense. But she would take it. It was what she needed. She stood up, checking that Praia was secure in her pocket and started taking a few steps, waiting for a gun to go off or something. She was still aprehensive. This could be a trap or something.

Monty let her go and kept a look out for any immediate danger. Once she was out of sight he would go back in a begin to pack for the twins and Raid. They needed to be armed. So, he kept a look out for Casper.

Once Casper was in the woods, she smirked. The plan had gone exactly as it was supposed to go. Her boss should be meeting her soon. The game of cat and mouse was just getting started, and they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. They'd even let Casper go, just as her boss said they would eventually do. Playing dumb was so easy, Casper was amazed she'd pulled it off without any cockiness. Of course, she'd been a little worried when Gambler had gotten mad, but after she left her with Monty, everything had been perfect. The next hit wouldn't be so subtle, though, and it wouldn't be so blind.
((there's your bad guy plot, LOL))

(O.O OH M GEE.....I'm scared for the life of my characters!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!....now i'm worried.....lmao man did you fool me!!!!)
Monty stood up and turned to enter into the house but stopped. Now he had this bad feeling that he made a big mistake. It was because all of these things happening at once that made it hard to judge anymore. Gambler was most likely going to murder him if his gut instinct proved to be right about that mistake. He should have shot that girl. 'Damn. I'm losing it.' He thought. He stayed outside. Just incase.

"Casper, took you long enough," said Casper's twin brother, Eddie, as he swung down from a tree in front of the black and red head. "Where's the boss?" "Couldn't make it. Causing some underground mayhem," he said, smirking. "Did he leave any orders?" "Yah, you're supposed to fake an attack from your fake boss. Just on you. Here's some blood," he said, tossing some blood bags that looked like they were from a hospital at her. "Now go hide yourself somewhere Gambler and whoever else is gonna be out will find you. And give me Praia, in case the boss changes his orders, I can send her to you." Casper nodded and pulled of her jacket, rat and all, handing it to her brother. "Think they'll fall for it?" "They did last time." Casper smirked. Fair enough.
((wow, I just realized how evil that really is now that I"ve re-read it.))

((mm....nice plot twist....I'll make sure to keep Eldin away...he'd notice the difference...))
Inside Rave's mind, he was yelling at himself. He had actually passed out in front of his new group, not something that he liked. Hell, passing out period was annoying, and something that very rarely happened. And now...well, now there was a reason for it. While they were in Ellwood, they had been too late. A few mages and assassins had been added to the group of renegades, and that was not a good thing. Kalore and Rave had been attacked by people who were much much stronger than they anticipated.
And it cost them.
Kalore took mostly physical attacks while Rave took the magic hits, the ones that effected the body from the inside out. And it hurt liked hell. "Ok...he's becoming stable, but barely..." He could hear Eldin's voice, and inwardly smiled. That boy was good, much more mature than most people gave him credit for. But, now the question wasn't would Rave live? No. It was what was going to happen when this pissed off elf woke up.
Dusk watched, but something was up. Standing up, she went to Talon. "You feel it to?" She nodded and sat by him. He was healing nicely, but it was just their luck that one guy starts healing and two more come back near death. "I'm worried...and not for those two..." Looking at her, the pyro sighed. "I know." They stayed in silence, waiting for the next order, not wanting to think about the recent events.

Inside Gambler she was fuming. She wanted to rip as my heads as it was possiable for what happened to Kalore and Rave. She kept a mask of calm and was relaxed in her pose. She was the boss and as such she had to be calm and clear minded. She was in the room, rested her back against the wall where they were treating Rave. She had already checked on Kalore and was now checking on this elf. This was bad. It was more than bad. The situation was getting worse. How worse she couldn't say but the sooner they stop it from getting bad in Area 6 the better to control it. She sighed. That was going to take all of their combined strenghts to do so. 'I think this might be a good time to get Kyoshi back. Hmmm.' She thought.

Dusk and Talon waited, but were shocked to see Kalore back in the kitchen. "What the hell are you doing in here?!" Talon looked at him like he was nuts, "Get the hell back in that room!" Ignoring the two, he went into the room where Rave was being held. Not saying anything, Kalore sat down against the wall. "Is he gonna live?" Eldin, too busy to yell at him for being in there, shrugged, but didn't answer. Kalore sighed. In his mind, this was his fault. The elf couldn't leave his commander and friend, so he closed his eyes, waiting.

Gambler looked at Kalore and shook her head. Amazed at how loyal he was to Rave. Even though she wanted to tell Kalore to get back to his room to heal properly she didn't have the heart to say a single word. She walked out of the room and to the outside where Monty stood, watching for something. She noticed that Casper wasn't there.
Monty spoke and explained why he let her go but he still couldn't shake this feeling like he made the wrong decision. Gambler shrugged. "If it was the wrong decision then you started smoking out the bad guy and well that's a good thing. Safer. I was about to go to every single boss in this city and get information out of them." She was going to do that with her guys storming the streets and beating information out of them. Monty still felt that even though it was for secuirty reason that he let the girl go, it felt wrong. "If you messed up, you know how I'm going to take it from you." He nodded. She was going to skin him or worse. Gambler walked back in and just stood out of the way.

Talon was beginning to feel ok, "I've gotta head back." Walking to the door, Dusk almost tackled him, but instead gently grabbed at his hand, "No you don't. You're not leaving until I can throw you into that wall for being an idiot and you not die from it." He shook his head, "I'll be fine." Dusk pulled him into a chair. "Down. Stay. Good boy."
"Hand me that bag," Eldin had to finish sticking up the body of Rave. The man was in horrible shape. There was a deep wound, seeming to be from a short blade, across his chest, too close to his heart for comfort, his legs were marred along with his arms. But, what really worried Eldin was the poison. There was magic in his blood, and it was poisoning him.
