"I am Khastur. Newly appointed templar of the sacred realms." nodding his head he looked back to Issildia. "I wish I could have been there to help, but in that situation I don't suppose one man was going to make the difference..Let us postpone this reunion for now and press on, time waits for no man, and we are short on it."

Sin nodded in agreement with Khastur.
"I could use a bit more rest... but sitting around and waiting for me isn't my idea of fun... I have enough to last me to where ever we are going... once there I can get more rest... but as long as we don't run into any troble I should be fine."

"Fine then." Issildia responded before she went silent for a moment while looking back at the ruins.
Finally she turned back to them. "There is something I must do...you two can start off...I'll catch up soon enough..."
Another breath of chill air swept across the frozen surface of Lake Veldan as Issildia turned away to make the short trek back to the edges of the ruins.

Khastur looked to Sin awkwardly and back to Issildia walking away, "..Um, Very well?" Khastur set his horse off at a trot "What was your name..? I didn't catch it."

Issildia finally made it to the other side, carefully trekking through the snow that had accumulated on the ice. After the short walk she came upon the edge of the wall where Demitri's blade Osirus still lay atop the snow. Gently she took the blade into her hands, only to then drive the blade into the snow to lodge vertically in the ground, making it into a monument, after a fashion. Silently she dropped to a knee and lowered her gaze. " Dannen le A u'erin le regi Rang ail le iestannen Lu' ail le tegin na hen. Gwannach o innen ului U lu' erui, ului' " It was an anierian lament, one that had been spoken for many others before this moment. Without a word she withdrew a pendant from her neck that bore a dark green jewel. It had been her mother's...and had protected her from dark times in years past. But she no longer needed it...She then twisted the chain that it hung upon around the hilt of Demitri's blade Osirus so that the emerald of the pendant hung down by the blade.
Finally she slowly came to her feet her face stained with tears. Lifting up her right hand she crossed it over her chest and bowed as a show of respect. Issildia then rose to stand normally, all emotion now erased from her expression, already the tears on her face were taken by the chill wind. "'Ni men hen u' veth 'wair." she said in a dark tone that carried with it a final farewell to what had once been...
Then without another word or gesture she turned away and without pause crossed back to the opposing side of Lake Veldan, never looking back as the ancient city loomed over her.
Finally she mounted the gray destrier that still waited for her, pausing only for a brief instant as if she would cast the ruins one last glance but instead she signaled the beast into a gallop back towards the others, allowing Anier do disappear off into the distance...
(((Translations~
(" Dannen le A u'erin le regi Rang ail le iestannen Lu' ail le tegin na hen. Gwannach o innen ului U lu' erui, ului' "
"You have fallen. And I cannot reach you. Every step I willed you on, Every moment I lead you to this. You never left my mind, Not once, not ever.")
("'Ni men hen u' veth 'wair."
"There is no other end to this road.")

((I will post, but pretty soon you will be on your own. lol. twisted ))
~Within Reinsen's dungeon, the chair that Streak now sat in suddenly latched onto him, trapping him by his wrists, legs and his waist. The figure in the shadows had revealed herself to be an elderly woman dressed in a ragged cloak. She had a rather sinister smirk on her face as she stared at her new prisoner.~
My, my, my. The master has delivered a pretty one to Hanch today. I must return my gratitude.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~The woman's laughter had continued as a swarm of wasps wisped through the chamber circlign the two of them, violently. Still, Azrielle did not move. He onlt watched as the wasps begun to gather in place before him. Soon they materialized into the slender build of a woman with crimson hair dressed in a black gown. She seemed excited to see the two of them, but at the same time, her lust for blood could be felt, even to that of the captive Sylph.~
Oh my. You are even cuter than I thought, Lord Azrielle.
Who are you?
Me? I am Pestilence.
Pestilence? So, it is true.
True? About what?
You are one of Akurei's Horsemen.
Very perceptive. I am under orders to allow no one to awaken him.
Now what makes you think I would want to do that?
Just the fact that you are here, is proof enough. I would rather not harm that beautiful body of yours, but alas. Orders are orders. evil
Do you truely believe you can defeat me? You are deluded woman.
WHAT!?! How dare you.
You knw well what is to transpire here. I will not let anyone stand in my way.
You are a god in your own mind Azrielle.....Prepare to die.
Sin smiled and scratched the back of his head as he headed to where the horses were kept quickly hopping up on his and directing it to ride next to Khastur
"Ha ha ha introductions always embarrassed me... but I never did say what my name was... it's Sin, nice to make your acquaints Khastur... so tell me, how do you know Issildia?"
"Well one day Issildia showed up, and the next Reinsen came, and then the one afte that Luin made his insanity public and declared he was going to raise the dead. So really all this bad stuff happened after she showed up...Boy, putting it like that it sounds like I was following a black cat." Khastur scratched his head, "Guess I'm just out to save the world. Nothing special." he laighed.
Sin laughed as he rode in a general direction towards where he and Issildia were heading before he fell ill.
"man thats priceless... I ended up interuppeing a fight between her and Reinsen... in my own unique way... and from there I pretty much followed Issildia onwards... it's something about her... you know? like you want to find out whats at the end of this trail she's going down..."
((Thanks, I don't like RPing alone crying )) "There is nothing that you can do to me that will make me speak of anything that may harm my friends or the army whom I fight for." Streak said, sharply. He tried to keep his face unfased, although inside him he was feeling a great fear. "You may as well kill me now." Streak said. The metal that had him trapped on the chair was rusty. The rust dug into his skin. It was sharp in places, which mad him bleed, and blunt in others, which made him bruised. He was feeling pain, but didn't show it, or at least he hoped hie didn't.
~The woman only laughed at him as she made her way to the east wal of the chamber. There was a device placed in the middle of the wall, in the shape of a sarcophagus. She opened it up and it revealed that there were thousands of needles extending from the steel.~
Hanch is not here to interrogate you...Streak. The master already has the information he needs. Hanch has been given orders to inflict as much pain upon Streak as possible. twisted
~The began to caress the large needles within the sarcophagus as two guards entered the chamber and took a hold of Streak. The third released him from the chair and slwoly led them over to the device as Hanch began to speak once more.~
This is my precious, precious device: The Iron Maiden. It can puncture your body in two thousand places at one, and sever every one of your internal organ at the same time. You will die, slowly. Very Very slowly. Hanch will listen to the music of you dying screams.
Issildia silently rode up behind Khastur and Sin, not bothering to comment as she heard small pieces of their conversation as she caught up. They easily avoided crossing the first tributary of the Qeu' Dari River that emptied into Veldan, though the main body of the river would bar their path before entering the forest that marked the barrier between the kingdoms.
"If we head to the north we will be able to avoid the marshlands to the south...once we reach the main branch of the river we should make camp and rest while we can, we won't be stopping once we enter the forest."
Sin looked behind himself at Issildia as she spoke. He moved his horse to the side a bit so that she could make it though them and wouldn't have to follow from behind.
"sounds like a plan... but why can't we rest once we enter the forest?
Issildia lowered her gaze slightly as she spoke, "The Forest of 1000 souls is one of the greatest feats of necromancy ever brought into being. I do not know how it was created, to be honest I really don't want to know but I do know this...within its borders the dead walk freely making it a treacherous path for any traveler to take. Anier has had dealings with the forest in the past so I know enough of it for us to cross at the narrowest point, shortening our time within it. But I have never been far beyond its borders into the kingdom of Trenius Sekia...so things will get no easier once we make it through."
The last part was said with a bit more scarcasim then the rest.
"So... I guess that my affinity with fire will be somewhat more useful this time around..."
