Karasu said, turning to Morte, bowing down for the food, "I got my honor and my principles to follow. I don't do anything unless it involves me. Its how I work, its how I always work." Karasu accepted the food, it was a bread and some fruit, apples in particular. "Mm, noh evehy hemhn es efil." He said, his words muffled out from gorging on the bread, "Hring?" Karasu made some hand gestures for some water.

Morte just looked at him before gesturing for some water brought. Morte wanted this man gone as soon as possible before bringing Shinn out.
Shera had troubles hearing Kayla as she struggled to awaken. She didn’t know why as healer she was able to stave off most of the problems with her sleep. She loved both Kayla and Celeron dearly as she struggled to awaken. Her eyes looked like they had turned colors, which wasn’t a good sign. The blood red coloration had actually darkened in coloration before her eyes closed again as she fell back asleep. “Kay-la…Cele-ron…help…”

Karasu drank the bread down with the water and coughed a bit, pounding on his chest. The aura's the villagers were producing were very unfriendly as they wanted him out pronto, "Guess I can go now, I can't stand being around hostile environments" He said as his wings grew outwards, ready to take flight, "But before I go, I need to ask something. Do you know of a man who killed the Katori clan?" Karasu asked, there was someone he was looking for.

“Katori clan? I’m afraid not lad. I only know of the ones that destroyed our previous village. They drove us into the lake and we had to begin making our lives differently. As far as we know, demons have been attacking the different clans and villages driving them across the region. Some even attack specific people for their gifts. Could your people produce special powers in them that were so unique that demons wanted the gifts?” Morte knew that it might have sounded off, but it was true as he floated there.

"Well someone from the grace of life took it upon themselves to eradicate a neutral clan." Karasu's fists clenched up as he spoke about his clan. He took a bow, "If you see the person who did it. Tell 'im or her that Karasu Katori is looking." His silky black wings started to flap and he stood there, hovering in the air, ascending slowly.

"Sh-Shera wake up please!" Kayla said shaking her as strongly as she could. Unseen however the sign on her back began to change once more as the affliction within Shera seemed to weaken slightly and Kayla's hair began to lighten lightly.

“I’ll pass that message on lad, but sadly no grace like that ever passed here.” Morte would look to his home however eager to greet his wife as he simply smiled now. He had a pleasant aura unlike the guards that kept keen look at Karasu.
Shera seemed sleep as she laid there. The cries for help only remaining in place as the affliction in her body weakened, she began to rest a little easier but would not find it easier to awaken at all. Her body would be slightly limp in Kayla’s arms almost like the affliction was zapping Shera of energy. She needed Celeron there as it could have been the poison attacking her.

"Why don't you wake up? I want to help you but what can I do?" Kayla said as the emotional stress of helplessness broke her down into sobs again as she held Shera tightly.
"Please tell me what to do." she said as she pressed her cheek face into Shera's chest as tears absorbed into her dress.

“Ka-yla…Cel-eron…help…poi-son…” Shera seemed to continue to cry out for help. Her body remained limp as her entire body was crying out for help from both Kayla and Celeron to help her fight the poison in her. The affliction in her own mind now telling her it was it. It had morphed and begun attacking her in a new way causing her to remain asleep, but she couldn’t very well communicate well this.

Miluiel nodded, "Yes, with them I am sure that he is safe. A mother can't help but worry." She said with a lopsided grin up at her husband. She placed her hands upon his hands and gently rubbed them. "Well my dear, shall we follow and see if we can help?"
"What oath my dear?" Tanis asked looking down at Helena.

Kayla couldn't hear Shera but somehow the longer she was panicking and making skin contact with Shera the lighter her hair would become. Kayla began to feel drowsier unaware of her physical changes.
Kayla felt as though she would remember something. Something about a terrible man with green hair chasing her and someone coming to rescue her. She couldn't tell who but all the panicking and exhaustion she took her as she finally slipped away from Shera's face and flopped down to the bed.

Shera’s eyes opened to see that Kayla’s hair had lightened. She’d note as a healer that Kayla was doing something with the poison from her own body and couldn’t let it happen anymore even if it was taking hold of her. Shera would painfully stand up from the bed as she would move slowly to the bed that belonged to Celeron and collapse. Her platinum hair would dangle over her body as she laid there with her head on the bed and the rest of her body off.
“I made an oath to protect Miluiel to his highness. I can’t very well break that oath Tanis. It had my life mixed into it and if I had failed to protect her it would dearly mean my life.”

In the mean time elsewhere Celeron and Jin were busy tracking down the fiend by its swath of destruction. The wild demons for what they lacked in intelligence they made up with raw violence and terror.
Finally they caught up with the demon and it was as horrifying as the destruction it wrought.
It turned on the two men as vile green ooze dripped from its open maw the fight then begun.
Kayla opened her eyes slowly. They gave off a little bit of a red tint as she sleepily looked around. She yawned slightly but she she did not feel scared anymore for some reason as she got off the bed and moved over to Shera taking the time to cover her in a blanket before moving back to the other bed and sitting on it.

"True, I did." Talithan admitted with a sigh. "And I suppose that I still wish to see her safe, but she has a husband now. Someone who I have seen will protect her, and will be a dependable provider. If you wish to be released from your oath, I will release you from it." He told her.
Shinn nodded to Ursa and stood, sniffing the air. "Opau and Amau are here!" He said cheerfully. "Lets go see him!" He said to Ursa.
Azrael grinned as he came up to where he could smell his son's scent coming from. "It seems that he is doing well. He doesn't seem to be in too much stress at the moment." He said with a safe smile.

Shera fell back into a sleep that was unnatural once more. The poison in her body seemed to be one that did not fight easily. She needed help, but could not tell Kayla that the symptoms were getting worse. Shera could only do so much to stop the poison with her powers as she laid the way she did. She'd eventually wake up only to turn her attentions towards Kayla. Her red eyes wide and awake, but not in the way wanted. The had a mad look in them almost like the curse had finally taken hold of her. The power of a demon in them, but not a demon. She'd get up slowly inching towards Kayla but not able to make her way fully there as she couldn't stand up to do it with the lack of strength in her body.
Helena smiled as she looked at Talithan. “If you wish to release me my liege from the oath, then let it be your wish. I just hope that I do so well being with Tanis as his wife. I hope to never let him down.”
Ursa just smiled as she nodded. “Yes, I sense them here. We’ll wait here for them they should be on their way or would you like to wait outside the house. You would have to promise to stay on the plank.”
