Jahoclave A Fatal Fairytale Jahoclave Lady Pyre Jahoclave I should not be allowed in bookstores, and what am I doing? Going to a bookstore. Yeah, I'm a real genius. I need more money to satisfy my addiction! OH GOD! OH GOD! I'm a book junkie! Pick some up for me, or I'll give you my germs. I went and bought three! BUT IT WAS BUY 2 GET ONE FREE! *cries* I can't stop. I can't stop. crying I'm willing to bet you've never spent a one hundred dollar Borders giftcard- on paperbacks only- in one go, though. That was a wonderful day. heart Are you willing to bet a hundred dollar Borders giftcard on that (with the exception that it be a hundred dollars, and that it be Barnes and Noble)? But have you ever spent 64 dollars at a book fair one books that are 50 cents each? 128 books in one go, TWAS A GLORIOUS DAY! ...I hate you. I haven't had a new book in AGES. =(
Bah, I wish I were going to the Rose Parade. ._.

I'm anxious and excited for tomorrow. D:
I'm anxious because I don't know if that question followed by a round shiny thing will pop up or not, and if it does, what I'll do or say.
But I'm excited because ... well, the same reason. Weird? I dunno.
Also because we get to go to delicious chinese restaurant. And, well, it'll be the first time I'll get to ring in a new year with someone special. I know that's overrated, but that's still nice.
... aaaaaaagh.
And wow, I still want those GO Phones but 30k is not worth it. Then again, signing up for that bebo thing and doing whatever it is you have to do on it isn't worth it either. Maybe the price will come down in a week or two. emo

Bah, I wish I were going to the Rose Parade. ._.Well, on the list of other things I've bought, there isn't much of a list at all. So basically my list of spending is books, more books, and webhosting. You're welcome to come and borrow though. I'll even throw in a free hug. Also, I got all the templating work done, so, tomorrow, I'll have my auto updating script in place for my website.

Yeah. Great way to answer a yes or no question. =.= "Don't worry about it." That has the opposite effect, so I was up last night feeling sick to my stomach and unable to pack at all. x.x And we're leaving sometime tomorrow. Com'on! Don't DO this to me!

There's nowhere within reasonable driving distance of me that has books that cheap. It's depressing... >:
If I had a hundred dollars, maybe; the closest thing I have is.. seventy-five dollars worth of Borders giftcards. xD
Pasta- If I have any books you'd like to borrow, let me know and I could mail them to you. If you're not paranoid about me being a ninety year old creepy old dude, that is. =B

My arms hurt for days when I go to the bookstore. The one in town, unfortunately, does not have convenient baskets or bags to use while you are shopping, so I have to awkwardly juggle all of the books. Having small hands and various-sized books doesn't help.
But the one I go to out of town is as big as a Walmart. So I think it's even more painful to shop there. Because I'm walking the whole store browsing for at least two hours (It would probably be longer if I didn't have to drive home. I have a hard enough time staying awake on the drive back without it being dark out.), and by the time I'm finished, I'm dragging a bag filed with tons of books over my shoulder like Santa Claus.
I think the worst was when I bought that Vampire Hunter D artbook, though. It was a foot and a half high and I could barely get the handles for the bag closed. And when I got home... I weighed it. Five pounds. One book... five pounds. Nothing but dictionaries and encyclopedias should weigh that much! D=
The only other things I really spend money on are the occasional video game or CD. Oh, and rent. My mom doesn't really care if I pay, but I don't like feeling like a mooch. It's bad enough I don't have my own place at my age - I can at least pay half of the bills. Also, I kind of thought if I was contributing, she couldn't use the "my house, my rules" crap on me any more. ...well... she doesn't exactly use that line anymore, but she still treats me like a kid. *sigh* Parents.

At least my internet boyfriend that I've met IRL doesn't look like a potential rapist. Good lord that guy's creepy lookin'. o_o
After reorganizing my bookshelf (as in collecting all the books of mine that have spread around the house, and finding a stack of books suitable for young adults to give to some girl mom always talks about and leaving said stack in the kitchen), I discover that I need a BIGGER bookshelf. That stack I left in the kitchen is enough to take up a shelf, too. Hopefully we still have my old bookshelf... <_<

One of my pet peeves:
When people say something sucks or is bad etc. just because they don't like it.
You could easily just say "I don't like _____", and it would be completely valid. No one's gonna MAKE you like something that you don't like. But to say it doesn't have any merit just because it doesn't appeal to you is so ******** disgustingly pretentious. Your tastes are not the standard to which all things are set.

Hint: Beware of Gaming Discussion. D: Although fun when you can subtly troll folks into going apeshit over mentioning something you like about what they hate. This really happened:[color=white] Dude: "Game X sucks since it's on the DS and not the Gamecube/Wii. D:" Me: "I like the DS since I get to play games on the bus. ^_^" Dude: "OMGWTFBBQ, WHAT IF IT GETS STOLEN?!?!?! O:<" Everybody else: "*flamethrowers ignite*" Dude and everybody else: "*six pages of Armeggedon ensues*"
