Phoenix Goliathane Also, um...I'm just curious - does anyone need game tickets? I think someone mentioned it, but I'm not sure who wanted them. That would be me. I'm still only about 1/3 through my ticket quest.

Story time, my children!
Here are two stories about Watanabe Shinichi, aka Nabeshin. For those of you whom don't recognize the name, he's famous as the director of Excel Saga, Puni Puni Poemy, and Nerima Daikon Brothers, just to name a few. Oh, and he has a giant afro and always wears Lupin's clothing. Yes, he is out of his flipping mind.
So, we were sitting around the Green Room, and Tiffany was regaling us with tales of Nabeshin when he was in Texas.
First, Tiffany was telling a story at dinner when they were at a con, and Nabeshin was sitting with her and Matt Greenfield (her husband AND the guy who runs ADV). Basically, as Tiffany was getting out of the shower in her hotel room, one of the male employees was coming into her room to drop off clean towels (he had knocked, but Tiffany hadn't heard him), so this guy got an eyeful of buck a** naked Tiffany. And as she's telling this story at dinner, Nabeshin gives her a sly grin and says "Lucky guy".
And the REALLY funny Nabeshin story...
Nabeshin is once again down in Texas for a con. So Tiffany and Matt and a bunch of their friends decide to take him out to dinner. So they go to a real Texas roadhouse, and apparently they have these large leather sacks hanging from the ceiling. They find out that these sacks are actually bull scrotum. Yes, you heard me right. Bull balls. Apparently, Nabeshin is utterly FASCINATED by these things, so Tiffany and Matt decide that they need to buy him one. So they did.
Apparently all night long he was sitting with these giant bull balls between his legs, laughing, getting drunk, and telling people to look at his balls, touch his balls, etc etc. He even took an empty beer bottle, placed it on the balls, and wagged it back and forth. Yes, I AM talking about Nabeshin.
Now, it's near the end of the night, and everybody's had a few, so they decide to take a picture. Tiffany's next to Nabeshin, who is STILL playing with the bull balls and the empty beer bottle, and he takes her hand and places it on the empty beer bottle and starts moving her hand up and down the bottle as the picture gets snapped. xd
It explains so much... rofl

I think I'll wear the mad hat as well ... I say my good sir, nothing quite like a top hat to make you feel smashing. Why, I even have rare collectibles set on the table. Grab your bat and let's get to it, hmm? I say! These cursed things won't sit still long enough for me to grab them and commence with the smashing! What's say, instead of smashing, we go for a few rounds of bat sniping? I mean, as long as our hats stay on what's there to lose?

AzurePaleSky I've been up all night throwing up and other things ... and now I have an 8 am class. crying Need sleep and to feel better! You too? I just stayed out of class. Few things are less attractive than throwing up in the middle of an early morning literature class when you sit next to a cute boy.

LunaInverse Story time, my children!... rofl I met him at ACen, oh, three years back or so. I shared an elevator with him at one point and he signed my program. He was pretty insanely awesome XD

So like..good news you guys. Today the whole 12k check went through for my mom so today after she's done with work we're going to get a washer and dryer. And! ANDDDD! A COMPUTER! This makes me happy, though, I don't know when internet will be set up. I hope it's soon, but if anything I'd think before the end of the month or somewhere in the beginning of December! AG HERE I COME!
Oh, and my job at Specer's Gifts is going well. I worked on the register for the first time yesterday and it's actually a lot easier to learn than other places I've had to use the register. The first couple times were kind of eh, but then I took to it like a bee on a flower. rofl

LunaInverse Ok, time for Saturday's write up of Bakuretsucon... Oooh sounds like a blast! It'd be fun to see the video. =D And scary fanboys and fangirls are scary. That's one reason I kind of get nervous about when I go to cons and/or do cosplay... crying

Zelyhon I know someone posted a link to an AMV quite a while that was of Gurren-Lagann set to one of the trailers for 300.
