Yeah, it does still effect after the pokemon is switched out. Thing is, then you have to play the "support, switch, THEN use the move I want to" game. My way, it's more like a one-shot deal. You determine when it would best be used, you use it. Then, after that, you wait the charge time. *shrug*

Arcanas Dunno...I haven't actually tried... Rol: while that may be the case, you have have a utility pokemon like Castform use it, with said held item, and I believe that the item still takes effect after Castform gets switched out? Yep. My Glaceon used to have the Hail one. If the holder of the item uses the corresponding weather attack, it lasts 8 turns regardless if it is in play.

Arcanas But Power Herb only works once...I'm sure it does...I mean, why wouldn't it? plus, Sunny Day makes the effect consistent. Snapple: damn straight. ******** epic combo... Same thing with giving Kyogre Thunder...100% accuracy, plus chance to break through protect and detect? ******** yeah! but is it really worth half of one pokemons moveslots???? cause the houndoom i want to have it......well thats a major pool eater (flamethrower, sludgebomb somthing dark spec and solar beam is what i got so far)

well, it's all circumstantial Hoshi.
depends on what you're gonna be using it for.
If you're predicting right, and they switch out for a water type to trump your Houndoom, and you pick Solar Beam anticipating the switch, then you'll get a free turn to charge it.

If you're going for a Sunny Day team, where everyone in the party benefits from the Sunny Day then it's a wonderful move. But if your going to be gunning for people with Houndoom and then counter the water types with Vaporeon or Starmie, then Sunny Day loses it's luster. Since it hinders the water power. But say, you lead with a Vileplume. Have it hold Heat Rock, then use Sunny Day. You have Vileplume with Solar beam for one thing. But say they switch to a Charizard. You could switch to your Houndoom. They switch to Milotic. You attacked with Solarbeam and didn't have to charge. Personally, I LOVE weather support. It's not for everyone... but when used effectively, you can pull off some sweet sweeps.

Sandstorm teams are fierce if you aren't prepared for them :3
I've tried each kind. Each one of them are amazing and fun to pull off.
Sunny Day and Hail are my favorites.
But I have done Sandstorm and Rain Dance teams too. :3
Rain Dance teams can rape you if you aren't prepared either. xD

EDIT: ... Really? I've had this Altaria for like three months. I hate Serebii trades. "Sure I can egg move Power Swap for you!" F***ing hacked pokes piss me off... (I know it was Altaria because I've uploaded one with all the others =/)

Focus Sashing Weavile is the best thing I've ever done.....on Pokemon at least....Now Permafrost can survive a hit, and come right back et ya!
