This just in. Scarlet Johansen will be in another comic book movie with Sam Jackson.
Yup, A repesenative of the actress has confirmed that she will be playing the part of the Black Widow in Iron Man II opposite Downey as Iron Man, Jackson as Fury , and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.

Natalia Romanova GOD. DAMN IT. <******** class="clear"> I feel your pain. Nine movies of Ultimate Fury? gonk I actually like Johansen, though. Dunno if she can pull this one off, but I like her. So... Watchmen: End is Nigh? Just downloaded the demo... Yawn. Repetitive as hell, and Nite-Owl is no fun. Len Wein writes a decent Rorschach, (liked his comments on the prison system) but I hate it when they regurgitate lines from the script/GN, which they did once or twice. Eh. Maybe I'll end up buying the full game, if only to see how the story plays out. It's a decent beat-em-up anyways.

Scarlet Johansen as a actress is a hit or miss for me personally. She does not "feel" very Black Widowish right off the bat like Emily Blunt did. I'll reserve real judgement for when pictures some footage pop up - but that is my initial reaction, yes.

I don't know. I actually enjoyed watching Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlet Johansen play off one another in the Spirit. It was actually the only part of the movie I did enjoy.

Never saw the Spirit; never will.
I like Sam Jackson. He's great in stuff like Pulp Fiction and Snakes on a Plane. But Ultimate Nick Fury is unbearably lame. Doesn't hold a candle to the 616 incarnation. Shame.

Zachary T Paleozogt Am I the only one that like the movie of the Spirit? I mean, it was no Sin City, but I still felt like i got my 7 bucks worth. I think a lot of us refuse to go see Sin City 2, when it's passing itself off as one of the best known and groundbreaking series in the history of comics. sweatdrop Still haven't seen it either, doubt that I will.

I jumped ship after Miller made a really stupid statement about fans in an interview.

I wanted to make a thread somewhere, but it seems to have been done to death in the Comics Discussion forum, and we already have this thread here... so.... Oh well. emo
Anyway, my thread's question:
Title: So, Who Watches the Watchmen?
Topic: I just saw it, and I was wondering what everyone else thought. It tainted my The Watchmen reading. I couldn't find my book to reread before I went to the theater, so when I found it, after I got back, I started rereading it. I can't stop thinking of the scenes and the way they said it in the movie!!!! burning_eyes

I saw it, and enjoyed it for the most part. I hope they stay true to their word that the DVD will have the story about the sailor comic book, and the gaint squid.
