Miyuki looked up in interest, by Winter her mind had caught up with her body. While this was a good thing it meant more lessons. When she was a three tailed, physical lessons were whimsical at best, but now she had a regular morning routine for katas with twice a week defense lessons. This was on top of her languages and other lessons. While she still had time to play sometimes it felt like there weren't enough hours in a day.
"Where is Nauros?" she asked.
Fortunely she too had a need to know so it made lessons at least a bit more bareable.

Earendil smiled at Miyuki. "If you like, I can show you on my maps," he told her. "It's about a thousand miles east of here. That's where Haldia lives. Where Kelirahc was born."
"That is correct," Kelirahc spoke up. "You may not remember her, but I am certain that once you see her you will remember something."

"Haldia?"
Miyuki tilted her head because by now Haldia was a distance memory.she couldn't remember much except maybe of snow towers.
"What is it like there?"

"Well, it's warm and mostly sunny, and there's lots of trees and animals ..." Earendil paused. "Well, you'll have to see it." He smiled and put one hand on Miyuki's head. "If we leave soon, we should be there just as the rainy season is ending. The best time."
"It'll be great to see everyone again," Leyenda beamed. "And they can all see Amalirahc!" She was also looking forward to being able to show her son the other half of where he came from. He didn't remember Haldia very well either - probably less than Miyuki, even.
Earendil chuckled and looked over at Lin. "What do you say?" he grinned at her.

Lin grinned at that, she would love to see Haldia again.
"That will be wonderful," Lin admitted, "To see Haldia and to be there."
And she believed it would be fun.

Earendil nodded. "Then let's plan on it," he decided. "Next week. We don't have to take all of our things, it's probably not going to be as long a visit as here."
"Mother and Ada will be glad," Leyenda murmured. "They've been itching to sail again. This long on land with nothing for them to really do ..."

Miyuki never had to pack for herself before and now most of her clothes had been replaced.
"For the trip?"

"Whatever you like," Earendil replied. "Clothes, lessons for the journey ..."
He wasn't going to bother taking his mapping tools, he wasn't going to need them this time around. This was going to be strictly a pleasure trip.
Across the table, Rhea was looking a bit wistful. "You'll have to tell me all about it when you return," she told Earendil and Lin firmly. "Since I can't go."

"We will," Lin assured her,"Are there any messages you'd like us to pass along?"
Miyuki looked up at the ceiling trying to think of what she should bring along.

Rhea smiled. "Just hello, and tell everyone about Xion and Rhiannon," she said brightly. "And invite Haldia to visit, make sure she knows how different it is here now!"
Earendil chuckled softly. "Well, we can try, but I make no promises," he replied. "Haldia was all too eager to leave this place the last time."

"Why wouldn't she want to come?" Miyuki asked.
she didn't understand it, this place was so great and lots of fun. Surely Haldia would like it here too.

Earendil shook his head at Miyuki. "Things that happened before your time," he told her gently. "Nothing for you to worry about." He smiled reassuringly.

Miyuki gave though to this, her Ada didn't seemed to bothered by it so it probably was okay.
"I hope she comes because it is fun here," Miyuki announced after some thought.
Lin chuckled at that, "It's been a long time since we've seen her, she might have settled down too. Who knows."

Earendil chuckled and ruffled Miyuki's hair affectionately. "You'll just have to convince her how fun it is here."
