Gambler took the pillow off her face and walked into the kitchen. She looked around for the cake Joker had made and found it. She cut a piece of it and sat down, eating it slowly. Her thoughts coming and going, and it had no where to go.
Monty just sat down waiting patiently for the next orders.
Joker just looked fascinated again at the language of the elves and then looked at Dusk curiously. "What's going on?" He asked.

No one wanted to talk. It was as if not talking about it would make Rave and Kalore appear and the hell that was bleeding over go away. But...they all knew that that was never going to happen. Talon wasn't talking, the pain coming back, making it so that he couldn't, and Eldin was just shocked. So, Dusk spoke.
"Hell is breaking loose in Ellwood and it's bleeding over...and apparently, this is really bad...but at the moment, it's being contained..."
"But not if the mages or sorcerers or snipers get involved...once they do, this is gonna get worse..."
"And that's where the boys are..."
Talon and Dusk both sighed. The others may not understand why this was so bad...but those three, five really, knew. And if it really got worse, they were all screwed. Add onto what was going on already in Area 6... Neither of them wanted to think on that.

Gambler was in a mediative state and listened to every sound around the house incase someone really wanted to pick up trouble and well she heard the voices in the next room. She got up and walked into the room. She was calm, cool and collected and pretended that everything was peachy. Gambler was a great actress and sometimes thought about getting a medal for it but the way she acted now was made for an academy award. "Soooooooo. There's something going in Ellwood and it's spilling over into Area 6, huh? Well, when I going to be told?" She looked at her friends in a calm, almost serene pose.
Joker was twitching. He had taken the wrong meds and now he could contain them. He shrugged.

All of them knew that it was stupid as hell to beat around the bush. Gambler was acting peachy, but that was the calm before the storm in their minds. All of them had worked with people like that; Dusk, Zaine, Rave. All three of those were people who often did the same thing that Gambler was doing. Talon spoke first. "This has been going on subtly for the past few decades," Dusk finished, "But only recently started spilling over." Eldin listened, still trying to understand all of this. He knew that the underground was forming, but the boy didn't know to the extent of it.
"Rave was probably going to tell you, but that chick came in..." Dusk nodded, "But...then again, more than likely, he didn't know how bad it was getting, and that's what he and Kal are doing now."

Casper looked behind her and studied the door. She was still trying to understand this place.

Gambler nodded. This was another serious thing to look into. So, first it was the hit on her life and Rave's and now it was some situation in Ellwood that was going to rising to the point of spilling into her streets. She hasn't heard anything from Raid which is odd since he had been told to patrol and report anything unusual unless this spill just happened. "What's the information you have so far? I mean concerning Area 6?" She'd have to help out and stop it on this side and try to contain it if it was possiable but she didn't want to do anything without listening to Rave because well since he is the commander to his people it's only fair to not act without knowing all sides of the problem. A very practical move but it could mean time being lost. Once she knew all Rave and the others were allowed to give her then she would venture out and smoke the trouble makers out.
Joker was even more curious. This was turning into an interesting night.

"Talon?" Dusk looked at the pyro, seeing as he was the only other one other than Rave that knew the details. He sighed, "I don't know as much as Rave does, but he's been tracking this for years... From what I know, it started because Lucien was trying to overthrow the king. Well once they both died, there was no one to take control, so now it's becoming chaotic. The council is in charge of Ellwood, and doing a great job, but the underground...when the underground is in chaos, that's when things get bad..."
Dusk nodded and continued, "Now, it's a fight for power between mercenaries and simple elves. But...it's catching the attention of the higher bosses, like the snipers, the assassins, and the mages. Rave is trying to stop that by stopping the fire before it spreads."
"Before, he had to find them, and now he knows where they are, but Rave doesn't like pointless violence. So, he needs to find a way to get to the bosses, and snuff them out."
That was all that the two knew, and if she didn't like it, then gambler could shove it...

Gambler listened and listened carefully. This was bad news. It was really bad news. Good thing she didn't relax because then she would have thrown a fit. "Okay. So. Since Rave and Kalore aren't here and I assume they are in Ellwood. I'm going to wait until he gets back. I'll give him an hour. If he's not back by then, I'm going to me up with Raid and see if there has been any unusual things happening." She nodded and thought that a reasonable limit. Otherwise, they can suck it up.
Joker twitched and nodded to what Gambler said. He would have to keep a look out for that boss threat that happened before.
Monty looked at the girl Casper. "Don't study the house. You won't be here long." He said.

So? Casper thought, but she pulled her head back around to stare at the ground instead. Praia was still cowering beside her foot, and Casper held her hand out to the little rat. After a couple of hesitant sniffs, the ball of fur crawled up into her hand and Casper put the rat in her lap, rubbing behind its ears. She could tell it was going to be a long night.

Talon and Dusk looked at each other, "I think that that's enough time..."
"Enough for what?"
All of them looked at the door and there was Rave, looking like hell with Kalore leaning on his shoulder. "And this is why I hate close combat..." Even looking like hell, both had their fiery personalities. "Kalore! Sir Rave!" Eldin was up and working on the two men, "W-What happened?!" They both shook their heads, "Hold up...hold up..."
At first, it was Kalore that looked like he was the most hurt, but that wasn't the case. Rave was the one who was worse for wear. Dusk shook her head, "Dude...wow..." There would be an explanation...but not quite yet...

Gambler looked at both elves with concern but hid that since that's not what they needed right now. Joker got up quickly with one last twitched and looked Kalore over. In his opinion he looked okay. Had it been anyone else they would have thought him nuts. Which in truth he was. He looked at Rave. Some form of instinct told him that he was in pretty bad shape but he made no move to fussy over the male.
Gambler looked on with a tense jaw. It seemed that what ever was going on in Ellwood was either getting worse or was just already worse. She looked at Joker. "Put them in the rooms now. Do what ever it is you have to stop the bleedings and pain. Afterwards, we talk." She looked at Rave with a raised brow in question. She was giving him a chance to say something else before Joker and Eldin did there medical thing.
Monty looked at the rat. "Why a rat?" He asked. He heard the voice of the two male elfs and heard Gamblers. It sounded like something worse was up. He grumbled something in his language and looked at Casper.

Casper shrugged.
"She chose me, not the other way around. You wanna know, ask her." The rat was still trying to squirm as far away from the demon as possible, obviously scared.
No way in hell, she chattered at Casper.

Rave looked at her and his eyes were shining. He would have to talk to her, but at the moment...things were....getting.... "Rave!" "Sir Rave!" The man was down, being catched by Eldin and Kalore. Dusk was up, "What the hell?!" Never in her life had she seen Rave knocked out. "He didn't look that bad..." Eldin went into his more mature mode. "Get Kalore out of here, in another room, now we need to work on Rave. At this moment, he's in critical condition." Dusk nodded, as did Kalore. Eldin knew what to do.
"Get him into a room, now. Help me move him, but without jarring anything... Princess, in the room where Lord Talon was in, there is a medical kit that's from Ellwood. Get it please." Dusk nodded and went out of the room.

Gambler looked and watched in horror Rave knocking out. She didn't move. She let everyone else move around doing as they were told, Joker fussing like he does with patients and getting into the doctor mode. He offered assistance to Eldin and anything he needed as far as medicine was concerned. Gambler stood out of the way. It was so surreal that even though Rave, Kalore and Eldin have only been in her crew for a few hours, it was shocking to see one of them just drop. Especially Rave. She looked from behind everyone on the treating Rave. This was just another fuse that no one needed now. This thing happening needed to stop to prevent further damage of any kind. Was Gambler pissed that Rave and Kalore were in bad condition? Hell yeah. She just knew how to keep it to herself. Which was really bad for her. She walked out to the front and looked at Monty and the girl Casper. "Both of you need to stay out. Monty, when I give the word you go and call the twins on a payphone. Then have them meet you at a undisclosed place. Then call Raid. I'm calling a meeting. After I get more information, I'll come to you guys. Take the girl with you since she'll be safer." Gambler walked in and tried to see what she could do but at the sametime let the others do what they knew best.
Monty nodded. "I told you, you'll be safer with us." He said to Casper.

Casper could hear and edge to Gambler's voice, but she couldn't tell what it was. Obviously tonight was not anybody's night. She bit her lip and placed Praia back in her pocket.
