Khastur looked at the beast for a moment, his horse trying it's best to close the distance before stopping. Taking his eyes from the creature he looked to Issildia, in times of hardship many wrinkles form on one's face--Issildia seemed to be one a kind in that she looked the same as she ever did; "Well...You're not dead..It has been a while now indeed..I trust you've left at least a few enemies for me to entertain myself with." Khastur smirked.

Sin had snapped out of his daze once the horn had been blown. Ducking down into one of the ruins he headed to the edge of the city to see what was happening. Once he made it to a building on the edge of the lake he peeked over the edge of a ruin and looked about, seeing Issildia faceing down some horsman that he didn't recognize.
"what the heck is going on?"

Issildia arched an eye-brow at him in a critical manner.
"Much has happened since you disappeared Khastur, you have much to answer for." she stated in a tone that was edged in ice.
But then her harsh expression seemed to lessen slightly. "But even so, I a glad to see that you still live."

Khastur took a bow "Oh please do excuse me your harshness. I had left to a monastery to hone my swordsmanship-- this blade is supplemented by holy power, as it is believed to be a bane to reinsen and his forces. I had to learn how to weild this power, otherwise I'd be nigh useless against Reinsen. My soul knows only peace now. Now what is our next move pray tell?"

(( sweatdrop Sorry, sweatdrop my mistake redface I didn't see that post)) Streak followed the 4 guards down several hallways. Eventually, they came to some stairs that lead down to what appeared to be a dungeon. He could hear screams of those long lost to life, and laughter of the people who had obviously been driven mad. Streak wasn't sure if he was just hearing things or whether they were actual sounds. The guards, although appearing a little hasty in speed, seemed to be unfazed by the sounds, if they existed. They were probably trying to get away from Reinsen.
Finally they all reached a big, thick steel door. They opened it and pushed Streak in, then closed it behind him. They then rushed back up the stairs to get back on duty.
Streak looked around the room. It was very dark, but not pitch black, so Streak could see. A thought then came to him, he was in shadow, he could escape. He attempted to change into shadow form, but to no avail. He tried again, with the same result. Streak then sighed. He saw the outline of what looked like a seat or a bench and sat down. He continued to look around the room and he noticed a figure in the corner........

Issildia looked as though she was about to berate him once again but thought it better to do otherwise.
Without any sort of prompting her horse turned back towards the ruins.
"There is much to be explained." she said lowly, anticipating that he did not know all that had transpired since he had departed.
With that she turned as set off back down the rise to the ice lake and the remains of Anier.
"Did you hear of what happened at Faltora?" she asked as they continued down the rise.

Seeing Issildia walking down with no evidant combat Sin guessed that it was ok and he stood up walking out onto the ice lake suddenly slipping and falling on his a**. Shouting he sat up from his fall and rubbed his back sighing and waiting for Issildia and her companion to get to him.

Khastur cocked an eyebrow, Faltora had completely slipped his mind for some time now. "No, I do not, I was in complete seclusion. What happened to Faltora?"

Niobe placed Sylph on the floor and once again made a strange movement with her thumb on Sylph's neck. After a few seconds, the girl's eyes fluttered open. Sylph scrambled to her knees and then to her feet, looking around anxiously, but not uttering a word. Niobe pulled a strand of Sylph's hair off her shoulder with a frown.
"Love what they're done with the place. We should have this guy's people call my people."
Niobe made a light joke, somewhat inquisitive as to whether they were going to be entering those huge doors or not.

~Azrielle only turned back towards the entrance once Niobe made her comment. He was quite hesitant to approach the doors in front of him, let alone open them with his own hand. He had begun to walk away from the doors, before his senses were filled with the sound of a feminine laughter. Without turning, he glanced back at the doors to his rear, slowly letting his hand slide up to the hilt of his blade. The laughter had begun to echo throughout the hall as the sound of buzzing insects began to tease their eardrums.~
So, she has arrived after all. stare

Sylph gasped and damn near dove behind Niobe. Niobe looked straight ahead blankly at first, but a smile slowly crept across her face.
This one sounds insane, definitely unstable. I don't trust her at all
"Yes, we have delivered her. Are you the one we have come three days' journey to meet?"
Niobe put a hand on her hip and shifted her weight to one leg. If needed be, her whip was mere millimeters from her fingers. She didn't feel threatened enough to get the adrenaline rush, but she was ready. Just in case.

Issildia's eyes became downcast as she explained how the city had fallen, going into detail as to the destruction of the larovian army as well as the death of Lizzera Matier, the Anierian ruler thought to have been dead long before who had managed to survive long enough to merely die another day. She also explained there current objective in seeking out information from the last remaining survivor of the last batter of Anier, other than herself of course.
"I do not know what has become of Azrielle, I doubt that he is what we were led to believe...but if finding him will grant us the answers we need, then so be it." Issildia uttered darkly as she dismounted to leave the horses at the edge of the frozen lake so that they could feed on what little vegetation that remained.
She gave a look of slight disdain to Sin who was only a short distance away, "I don't know if you remember this one Khastur...he followed us to Marely's home...and has been rather persistent in following ever since..."

Sin stood up again and sighed walking over to Issildia makeing sure not to fall again.
"don't think I didn't hear that Issildia... So... I don't think I remember you..."
Sin said pointing to Khastur.
"and besides it could be worse Issildia... it's not like I haven't been helping out in my own way..."
