Nina ran over to Jack, "Are you okay?" She asked with concern.

Jack took a deep breath, and turned to Nina, smiling. "Yeah, I'm fine." He then turned to Gogeta, and looked at his hand, cautiously. Eventually, he held out his own hand.

Jack smiled a warm, genuine smile. Back home, no one had ever apologized to him and meant it, or shown any concern for his wellbeing... He was starting to like this place more and more, even if he still didn't really know where "here" was.

Jack turned back towards Nina, still smiling. "Thanks." When was the last time he said that word? He couldn't remember... "And I don't give a crap about what Mr. Lightning bolts over there says. You talk however you want," he added.

Nina blushed as well, she looked at Jack, a little happier. Her usual bubbly smile replaced with a softer, shyer one.

"Wait, you're... still smiling?" Jack wondered out loud. He hadn't even realized that he said it. No girl had ever showed any interest in him before. They were more likely to call him "loser, freak, wimp," or "weirdo." He really was liking this world, now.

Kagome walked a little ways off from the group, seeing that nobody had noticed, nor acknowledged her. A small black portal appeared in front of her.
"Come, cultivate your powers...hone your skills...fight with me..." said a voice that was tempting and somewhat seductive. (couldn't find another word...sorry!!))
Kagome put her hand through the portal, which started to suck her in. She screamed, because she felt someone's hand close around hers in the darkness. "HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLPPP, INUYASHAAA!!!!" she yelled, but it had already sucked her in full.
